introducing: busts!! busts will be used like portraits in baldurs gate in the sense that only important characters will have them.

i do love the 90s shoujo look however i’m considering changing to a more western art style...for one thing literally every rpg maker game is anime, and for another, some people like that anon seem to think my portraits are too simillar to sailor moon....plus, with a less detailed face i could do busts instead of just faces in dialogue..hrm..

in other news, editing time fantasy sprites is a BITCH.

Hey, I really enjoy the look of classic Sailor Moon. But I'm fairly certain you are using copyright images as refs. Please consider looking up things like Senshi Stock and other stock and reference images and photos that are free.

Myth

Myth is the story of Phoebe, a young orphan turned thief unraveling her supposed destiny and learning just how easily a gentle heart can be manipulated by those who rule in the dark as she fights the mysterious Other and restores the Myth Sword to its former glory. Myth is like if She Ra meets Madoka meets Bojack. 

Features:

Day and night. some NPCs will only appear at night and vice versa

Farming. farming is a side endeavor which rewards food and rare loot

Rich characters: 3 companions, each with complicated backstories and dialogue

Companion Affection: your companions will approve or disapprove of your actions, and this will unlock new dialogue and quests.

side quests. there are plenty of side stories in the land of Ysen for you to explore. From thieving mayors to hidden vampire covens to murderous mermaids.

Myth Update

After receiving some feedback on my demo, some changes have been made to myth

-removed jump ability

-possibllyyyyy will replace faces with busts. but GUH pixel art on a large scale...hard

-fixed some minor bugs and balanced out some enemies
