Veronaville Intro Round - The Monty Family

The Monty family living in the main ranch consists of Patrizio and Isabella Monty and their two orphan grandsons, Mercutio and Romeo.

Patrizio and Isabella are trying their best to get their grandsons on line after their parents died. And with "getting on line" I mean keeping them as far away as they can from the Capps.

Mercutio is good-natured and warm, and also likes to tell jokes. It's a shame that all this feud between his family and the Capps can make him quite the opposite. Romeo is on his way to become quite the heartbreaker. But it may change for Juliette. Will he put his family aside just to be with her or will he give in to having all the other girls and save his family's pride?

Romeo invited Juliette over for a makeout session, despite his brother's warnings, and it turns out he was right.

Tybalt showed up with her and what followed was chaos. He was furious about Romeo calling his sister and was about to attack him when Mercutio intervened bringing the fight to himself. That's when Patrizio shooed the unwelcome guests and scolded his boys.

Veronaville Intro Round - The Summerdream Family

The Summerdream Family consists of Titania and Oberon and their two adopted children, Puck and Bottom.

Titania and Oberon are a couple, but they are not married. Yet. At least, it used to be something they both wanted, but things have changed a little bit and maybe, if they do not try to revive their relationship, marriage won't become a reality for them.

The family was having one of their famous parties when Puck finally got the courage he was working on to ask Hermia Capp to go steady. She hesitated for a moment, but happily said yes.

Things went downhill when, quite obviously, the Capp and Monty boys provoked each other into a huge fight. The party turned into a disaster and there was no way to save it. The two families only ceased fighting when Titania asked everyone to leave and ended the festivities. After all, she already had enough problems to deal with.

Veronaville Intro Round - The Capp Family

The Capp family 's the main of those traditional and wealthy families that exists around the city.

It is ruled by Consort Capp and his vast empire of fortune and hatred for his enemies, the Monty clan. Juliette, Tybalt and Hermia are his grandchildren.

Juliette spends her time reading, daydreaming and fantasizing about her future life alongside Romeo Monty, one of the heirs of her family's enemy clan. But she also loves her family and doesn't want to anger her grandfather.

As for Tybalt, he is always ready to defend his family name and, in addition, to stir up trouble and have an excuse to get into a fight with one of the Monty boys.

Hermia has her own heart issues to work on, and is getting involved with Puck Summerdream, who, at least, her family doesn't disapprove of (or even care that much to tell the truth).

Consort is tired, but he has no intention of giving up on seeing his family prosper in the right way. He plans to retire very soon to try to take care of his grandchildren and make sure all the right decisions are made. Or else, he may yet watch his legacy crumble from within his own home.

Pleasantview Intro Round - The Burb Family

John and Jennifer Burb moved back to the suburbs (yeah I know) after living in the hustle and bustle of the big city for a while.

It was John's deepest wish, to see his little girl grow up like he did, surrounded by the greenery of nature and the serenity of a calm and cozy neighborhood.

Jennifer, on the other hand, prefers to live closer to the corporate world and where everything happens, and so the first thing she did was get a new job, leaving the housecare stuff to her husband, John. She is also eager to meet her brother Daniel to feel a little bit more like home.

Lucy is looking forward to seeing her cousins ​​again.

Pleasantview Intro Round - The Goth Family

After the commotion surrounding Bella's disappearance, the Goth family home once again achieved its calm, peaceful and serene (albeit somewhat macabre) atmosphere. But not anymore.

Dina Caliente had to make sure that her wedding to Mortimer Goth had to happen ASAP. And so, Mortimer complied, and they were quickly married in the mansion's garden with only their family invited. And like that Dina became the new Mrs. Goth.

Cassandra went mad and clearly showed her disapproval. It was not easy for her to see her dad getting married again, specially with this woman, as she told Mortimer later, "with very obvious dubious intentions". But Mortimer cared not.

Alexander, young as he is, could not understand his sister's motives and in fact didn't give any thought to it. We could say that it is because he is too busy being a playful child living his childhood with friends as it should be, but in reality he only cares about books, scientific studies and becoming a great genius. As his family intended for him.

It is also important to say that the wedding night ended very well, but only one of the just-married-couple got what was desired for the night.

Pleasantview Intro Round - The Dreamer Family

Darren Dreamer felt like his life was over when his wife passed away. But for his son, Dirk, he had to move on and give him the strength he needed. Then, he decided he was ready for a change, so he quit his job to pursue his dream of becoming a great artist.

It turns out that Darren has finally found his motivation to move forward, as well as his inspirational muse for his new career, Cassandra Goth. Or is it something more than that?

Well, yeah, it is more than that. As a true artist, he pursues an impossible dream right now, with Cassandra being engaged to Don Lothario, he can only hope that she finds out what a big mistake she's making right now with this decision.

Besides that, he really needs to achieve his masterpiece, after all he needs to pay his bills, which piles up every week that passes on.

Meanwhile, Dirk does his best to be the son his mother would want him to be. But being in a relationship with Lilith Pleasant may put him off his stride.

Pleasantview Intro Round - The Caliente Family

The Caliente household consists in two sisters: Dina and Nina Caliente.

Nina is cheerful and active. She likes exercising and she's a very romantic woman. Recently, she gave in to Don Lothario's charms thinking she has found the love of her life. (poor child)

Now Dina's thing is a little bit more. She wants all the money of the world for herself, e truly gold-digger, was once married to a rich sim who (guess what?) died and left her all his money. Think she got enough? Oh nonono.

She literally PROPOSED to Mortimer Goth, who said YES. And now she's about to become the new Mrs. Goth and that means a lot, a lot of money. And if things weren't already going well enough for her, she has Don Lothario whenever she wants (or at least she likes to think so) and of course, Nina has no idea. (I can't help, Dina's my favorite)

You can bet what kind of drama awaits for these sisters!

Pleasantview Intro Round - The Lothario Family

Don Lothario lives alone in his house. Alone, but not at all lonely.

It's no secret that Bella Goth was last seen on the terrace of his house, stargazing. Why? And why does he have a painting of her in his bedroom? It all gets even weirder when we get to the fact that he's engaged to Cassandra Goth, Bella's daughter.

But it is how it is. And despite all of that, Don refuses to maintain a monogamous relationship with just one woman. In fact, for some time now he has been trying to "win" Nina Caliente on a silver platter, and it didn't take long for that wish to come true.

Counting yet another trophy on his shelf, Don also has an affair with the maid Kaylynn (yes, the same maid from Daniel Pleasant's household, ouch).

And more recently, Don has also developed a secret relationship with Dina Caliente, Nina's sister. In other words, Don has established himself as the town's Casanova while maintaining absolutely no scruples. Will his fiancée find out before their wedding day? Will he leave this naughty life behind him? If he doesn't, how is he going to keep all these women in line without one finding out about the other? Life's cruel for Don Lothario.

Pleasantview Intro Round - The Oldie Family

Coral and Herb Oldie are the epitome of loving parents and wonderful grandparents, known in the neighborhood for always being cheerful and full of life, despite their age.

Younger Sims have always come to their place for some wise advice, or even to grab a bite from Grandma Coral's famous grilled cheese.

Of course, it was no different when Mary Sue, their adoptive daughter, arrived at the door with all her stuff packed in a big suitcase and a face visibly swollen from crying. They immediately arranged the other room to make her feel as much at home as possible and welcomed her with open arms.

As for Mary Sue, it was a new beginning. When she wasn't fully focused on her career, she was on the phone reaching to one of her daughters. Most of the time, she was only successful with Angela.

Pleasantview Intro Round - The Pleasant Family

The Pleasant Family lives a good life due to Daniel and Mary Sue's hard work in their careers. More specifically, Daniel, who is successful in the local sports career.

They have twin daughters, Angela and Lilith, who are the complete opposites of each other and ALSO HATES each other. But so far they have led a (dis)functional life as far as it is possible.

As it was briefly mentioned before, Angela is the "good twin", getting good grades in school and working hard to develop her abilities early. But Lilith, who hates her sister, also hates everything she represents, and therefore does not have a good relationship with her parents and does not do well in school. She likes trouble and she IS trouble, enjoying things like sneaking out with her boyfriend in the middle of the night.

Daniel and Mary Sue are exemplary workers, but as a couple, they have nothing good to teach their daughters. It is clear that the relationship is no longer the same, and therefore, Daniel, who is eager to romance, did not let the opportunity to get involved with the housemaid, Kaylynn, pass by. When he's home, he awaits for everyone else to leave and spend the afternoon with the her.

But, oh, well... One day, Mary Sue had problems at work and got demoted, coming home earlier than expected, and Daniel's good life with Kaylynn was exposed. The "perfect family" crumbled, Daniel tried to change the game and make peace with his wife, but, as expected, he was rejected and completely humiliated. But the one who was feeling humiliated, in fact, was Mary Sue.

Mary Sue couldn't go on with her marriage right now, and decided to leave for her adoptive parents home. They broke up, and the twins' hearts got broken as well, though they have very different ways to show it. For now, they stayed with their father, as moving out with their mother would mean sharing a small room in their grannies house, and that would mean Hell on Earth. What will be Mary Sue's plans for life now? Will Daniel be able to raise his twin daughters "by himself"? And what impact will all this have on Lilith and Angela's lives?

Pleasantview Intro Round - The Broke Family

(To summarize I'll keep it simple and not modding or changing anything around my game for now. The Intro round consists in just seeing what's going on with each household and the first outcomes). Okay let's do it. First family in my new rotational gameplay to be played is the Broke Family.

Brandi is a single mother (actually, a widow) living with her two children, Dustin, the oldest, and Beau, the youngest. Her husband died not so long ago under some mysterious circunstances envolving the pool in their backyard.

She quit her last job to stay home taking care of and being a good mother to her children.

Dustin is just a teenager but also the one who provides. He's in the Criminal career, and since his dad passed away, he's trying his best with his available opportunities to provide for his family and help his mother. Though Brandi is not happy with how Dustin's life is going on, she doesn't really have a choice right now.

Also, as we can see above, Dustin also has some other interests right now, and this "interest" has a name. Angela Pleasant, the rich girl (and the good twin) from the neighborhood. They're quite in love, though they're very different.

With all this going on, Brandi has just found out that she is expecting another child! And so this has left her completely hands tied. In fact, the family is growing and the money Dustin makes is not enough (not even close). Also, Brandi cannot leave a baby at home and get a job, especially when she is pregnant again. So the question is - What's next for the Broke Family? Will they find another way?

First things first

For my own personal record (or if there's anybody reading this), I'm starting a new The Sims 2 rotational gameplay save, and I intend to play all the premade neighborhoods and families by following the (very few) rules below:

1. First I'm going through an entire day with each Pleasantview family for intros and to sync everyone in the same season. (For example: it will be the first Fall day for every house). Then I'll do the same with the other hoods. 2. Once every family is season-sync, I intend to play a whole season per hood before moving to the next hood. The plan is to divide the season in 2, so I don't need to play 5 days with the same family at once. (I'm aware about the mods and I don't want them). So, Fall begins: rotate 2 in-game days with every family, then rotate 3 in-game days and Season 1 is done. Move to the next hood and repeat. 3. F*ck days of the week honestly. 4. Uni will be played by the end of each rotation. 5. I'll be keeping some important notes about the Sims/families/events for the record. And for now that's all. If I think about anything else I'll come back here and edit this post.
