This is Monroe, after Marilyn Monroe. I also call her Speedbump, because she lays in the hallway and my walker can't go over her! She is one of our special needs kitties. She has cerebellar hyperplasia also known as wobbly cat syndrome, is a neurological disorder that affects a cat's ability to balance and coordinate movement. We have 2 wobbly cats and we would not trade them for the world. She has it worse than the other and she has it quite badly. She cannot walk straight at all. But she is a wonderful kitty, she loves and purrs and hugs us all. She loves to play and even plays with Pearl our foster kitty. I will try to get a video of her when I can. She tries to hide a lot. But she is a great kitty and we love her so very much.

This is Pearl, our foster. She might be leaving us next week. She is so cute and adorable. She is starting to interact with our cats finally. She has been scared of the big bad bullies! But today she finally ventured out on her own. Usually she sits on my shoulder or goes to sleep on me. She has been fun. She was sick when we got her so he is a bit behind where she should be. Her brother, Oscar, has already been adopted! So hopefully next week is her week! I will post more pictures of her this week!

This is Lucca. She is my nephew's cat that lives with us. She likes to mom the little foster cats, but usually only if they are boys! It is fun to watch them. She is a good cat and loves a lot of attention. She does shed a lot with long silky fur. She gets along well with all of the other kitties.

This beautiful girl with the glowy eyes is Captain Chaos! I got her as a baby when she followed Harley in and I closed the door and never let her out again. She was a bit afraid, but she got fed and never had to worry about anything else. It took a while for her to trust me and then even longer for her to trust anyone else. Now she loves us all! But, she does not really let anyone hold her except me, and that is VERY rare. Then it is only for a minute or two. But, I know she loves me and I love her. She knows she is loved.

This is Jack. He is quite mischievious. We call him Jack the Jackass. But then he can be so sweet! He knows when you need some cuddles and he will come and cuddle with you and purr so loud I think they hear it in the next county over! I hope you enjoy him!

International Dog Day

In honor of International Dog Day, here is our dog Ben, who actually thinks he is a cat! So we call him Ben the cat! He is an old soul, about 13 years old, and we got him after he had been abandoned on the streets for several years. We love him so much. He knows I can't say no to anything when he tilts his head and looks up at me. Such a cutie pie! I hope you enjoy him too!
