I am Tareq, the eldest son in my family, writing to you today from Deir al-Balah, South Gaza. We are currently living in a shelter provided by UNRWA (United Nations Relief and Works Agency), but the conditions here are extremely difficult. Our lives are constantly at risk, with the threat of airstrikes and destruction surrounding us at all times.

This shelter is no longer enough to ensure our safety. We urgently need to leave Gaza for a safe place, away from the constant threat of bombings and destruction. This is our goal right now—escaping these dire circumstances and finding a place that offers us hope for a new life.

Here is a picture of my friend Fidaa’s baby girl, Sila. Sila and her baby brother Muhammed are currently stuck in a situation so horrible that words struggle to describe it. 

Fidaa, (@fidaa-family2) the mother of these beautiful children, is a 29-year-old woman from Gaza who, during the war, was separated from her entire family and is currently being forced to take care of her two children, completely alone. 

Her children are both sick from the cold and the encroaching spread of diseases, and they are all in pain. She has been displaced with her children many, many times, each time having to dip into her precious evacuation funds to buy transportation. 

Every time she is displaced, she is forced to buy a new tent, which as we know costs $1,500… 

This makes her evacuation funds absolutely instrumental for her and her two small children’s survival, two children who I will now remind you are sick, hurting, and starving in a situation that nobody could have ever predicted. 

These conditions are absolutely catastrophic. They are apocalyptic. No child, no mother, no person should ever have to go through this. 

You can help. 

You can help by donating and sharing so that Fidaa is not forced to struggle any longer. All she hopes for is to get enough money to evacuate to Cairo so that she no longer is forced to rely on the black market for things as simple as food.

We have run out of cooking gas a week ago, and the price of a gas cylinder is about 480 shekels (120 € ), also there’s no flour, it’s bag price is almost (150 €) , no salt - kilo of salt is almost (5€) - , no sugar - kilo of sugar is (9€) .

In addition there is my child’s needs:

-a pack of Pampers for 180 shekels (45€ ),

-3 cans of baby milk per month for 120 shekels (30€ ),

-warm clothes for the child about (100€ ),

-and a plastic cover for the tent to protect us from the rain costs about (200€ ),

I want to buy cleaning materials , such as :

-Bottle of shampoo 80 shekels ( 20€ ).

-2 Kilo of washing powder 140 shekels (36€ ).

-Bottle of dish- washing liquid 50 shekels ( 13€) .

****So i urgently need your help to raise 1000 € more to reach 3500 € by end of Wednesday so that I can go to the market and buy these very necessary supplies.

Note : Now , we are using fire for cooking and baking , and the price of a kilo of firewood is almost (2€ )

We lack basic human needs, no food, no electricity, no water. We have been poisoned and infected🍞 by the unhealthy water🥛 we drink. During this period, she felt remorse at how difficult it was for a mother to see her children sick and unable to treat them because she is also very sick. I live every day war, destruction and fear, a feeling that can only be described by those who live it.

War is not easy, as I lost part of my family, my home and my work.

I graduated from university with a high grade and worked as a fashion designer and opened my own project because it was my hobby from the beginning.

I developed and succeeded in my field, but the war came and I lost everything in a moment.

My work was my source of livelihood for my family, so because of it there was no longer any source of income.

Also, my mother has been suffering from kidney failure for years and needs dialysis 3 times a week.

Because of the war, she suffered from going to the hospital in danger and long distances.

Also, the lack of adequate care caused her severe fatigue and hospitals became an unhealthy place because of the large numbers who needed treatment.

I had many ambitions and dreams that I wanted to achieve and succeed and become a famous fashion designer.

All we wanted was to survive the war. We were forced to be displaced more than 10 times at least.

We suffer a lot from the tent as we lived the summer with its extreme heat as it is made of poor quality nylon

My story is the story of my family, consisting of 6 boys and 3 girls, but two of them got married. My family and I lived in complete comfort. We have a simple house that accommodates us, we have the most beautiful clothes, and we eat the best foods. However, my father and mother suffer from chronic diseases. I finished high school with a score of 90%, thank God Almighty. I started university and I was happy and joyful to start university in the field that I love. . Then came the day that prevented me from completing my joy, broke me, disappointed me, and completely extinguished my life and my family’s. October 7. A new story began, and unfortunately I did not complete my studies😓💔.The journey of displacement from one place to another began. The bombing was above us and we spent it crying and fearing a lot for our children😥😥. We did not find safety in any of them. The second day of the war, we received the shocking and painful news for our hearts and my father’s heart more because he built it with his hardship and fatigue😓💔. It was the bombing of our house in which we lived for twenty years and we have many memories that we will not forget.

On 10/13/2023, we were forced to move to the Deir al-Balah area in the middle of the Gaza Strip. This area will remain in our memory because we found hardship, fatigue and intense sadness there. We live in a tent in the intense heat that is filled with small insects and disgusting mice that no one can bear to live in a place like this😥💔

.We suffer from the lack of water and the high prices that are beyond imagination, and other than that, the children of my family who lived their childhood in tents, war, and toilets and lined up in long lines to get bread. This is their childhood, and they are supposed to be in school, entertained and happy, and have all their needs that are lacking now😓💔

I lived with my family in a warm house full of love and security, thinking about how I could achieve my dreams and become an impactful person in society.

But suddenly, everything changed. The war swept through our city like a relentless storm. In a single night, my home became just a memory, and the city I once knew crumbled before my eyes. The sound of planes and shells became the only thing people could hear. We tried to find shelter, a safe place to hide our dreams and lives, but the war followed us wherever we went.

We were forced to leave everything behind—the house, the memories, and even the university. We became displaced, homeless, with no destination, just trying to survive. The war didn't just destroy our city and homes, it destroyed our dreams. My dream of completing my studies became far out of reach, and every day, I feel hope slipping further away. But despite all this, something inside me refuses to give up. There is a desire to escape this reality and build a new life, a life worth living. I dream of continuing my education, I dream of standing on my own feet again and achieving the goal I was once striving for: to help others who have lived through the pain of war like me.

Hello everyone, I am Sondos Jad Al-Haq and I have a family of 4. I am a 24-year-old housewife who does not work. My husband, Mohammed Jad Al-Haq, is 30 years old. He had open heart surgery before the war and worked in a private medical analysis center where he holds a bachelor's degree. We had no income other than his work, which he lost due to the war. I have two sons, Ahmed, 4 years old, and Saleh, 2 years old.

During the Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip, we went through very difficult circumstances. We were displaced several times and lost our home, which we paid for with all our savings, due to enemy bombs shortly after our first displacement. We lost all the beautiful things that my family and I used to enjoy, and the most difficult beautiful thing we lost was security and living in peace, due to the violent bombing that surrounded us everywhere we fled to.

Our days were difficult to say the least, as there were no viable sources of work to get the money we needed to meet our needs. Our situation is tragic and we are still stuck in a tent with no healthy food, no medicine, no water, and no electricity.

During the displacement process, we lost the stable and entertaining life that I, my husband, and my children used to live. They lost all the toys they loved and played with all the time and were deprived of the beautiful childhood they lived in the first days of their childhood. My husband, who suffers all the time from fatigue, exhaustion, and displacement from one tent to another, which made us despair. We were in a beautiful house to a tent in the middle of the street with no place to sleep. I need your help in raising money to leave the Gaza Strip because of the war.

This requires me to raise $20,000 that will cover the evacuation fees and our travel and transportation expenses, and about $30,000 that will go to rebuild our house when we return, God willing, so that the total amount I need will be $50,000.

I need to raise money to restore a beautiful life and stability outside the Gaza Strip. Everything I say only reaches a small amount of the suffering we are living. I am writing these lines to you with my heart burdened with worries, as I am the mother of a child whom I gave birth to in harsh conditions during the war. We have lived moments of pain and loss, my injured husband needs special care, while I face the challenges of everyday life on my own.

We live in a tent, where every moment lacks the basics. Food, drink, treatment, diapers, milk and vitamins for my baby these are things that have become a distant dream that we cannot provide in this difficult situation, I am trying to secure a better life and future for my child and my husband.

How can this little angel feel safe and we do not know to provide it to him in this war😔

I am Heba Al-Dahdouh. I currently live in the completely destroyed city of Gaza. Since the war on Gaza began on 7/1/2024, my family- my father Nasif, my mother Asmaa, and my siblings Khaled, Ahmad, Muhammad, and Malak-have been living in constant fear, crying, and suffering due to shrapnel, shells, and bullets.

We have no food, no electricity, no cooking gas, no schools, no homes, no cleaning supplies, and no clothes. Our house was completely destroyed. My school has been bombed, and my brother Khaled's university is now rubble, depriving us all of education. The war has forced us to live in displacement centers, which are just tents unsuitable for living, especially in winter.

Every day we live death, terror, and panic a thousand times because of the ongoing bombardment of my city. The war has killed more than 50 of my relatives and neighbors. At the start of the war, we sought refuge at my aunt's house, but it too became rubble. Imagine: we have survived imminent death more than 20 times and have been displaced among shelters more than 13 times. My siblings and I have suffered from many illnesses due to malnutrition, and we need medication continuously.

If we stay in Gaza, we might lose our lives. Recently, we have been seriously considering leaving Gaza for a safe place. However, travel costs are extremely high. We need over $50,000 to leave Gaza. Due to exorbitant prices, rampant unemployment, lack of security, the ongoing siege, and relentless bombardment, we have lost all our money. How can we live in such insecurity, with constant shelling and shrapnel flying above us? Dear compassionate friends around the world,
