Call Of Duty: Cold War Trailer Erases The Line Of Past
No gameplay has been shown but you see Call of Duty: Cold War’s trailer opening with targeting the tensions between the United States and Russia. The Cold War may have ended but this new trailer shows glimpses that will convince you that things have only cooled down on the surface while a lot of tension lies underneath.
Cold War’s trailer also shows how it takes 15-20 years to demoralize a nation, with everything that is happening in recent years you cannot argue that Infinity Ward is trying to push hard on the anxiety that has been built up between the people of these two nations for the game.
The Cold War was one of the tensest times in recent history, as both the United States of America and the Soviet Union were two of the biggest nations with nuclear weapons at their disposal. Though it never came to the use of these deadly weapons we might get to see an angle about the same being played.
youtube
The trailer also goes ahead in explaining how to destabilize a nation just like George Orwell did in his book, with the final words saying, “Know Your History, Or Be Doomed To Repeat It”. It looks the commentary on this part of the video is clear to anyone who is ready to read between the lines.
Another upcoming Watch Dogs: Legion has made similar claims in their trailer of the game which eerily predicts where we are going ahead with automation, surveillance, and more.

This Gaming PC Is $200 Off And Comes With Marvel's Avengers On Steam
Newegg is kicking off the weekend with an awesome gaming PC deal that knocks a fair chunk of change off its price. The ABS Master gaming PC is $1,300 (down from $1,500) and comes with a Steam key for the standard edition of the upcoming Marvel's Avengers. This deal is only valid until September 6, and supplies are limited, so you'll want to order soon if you're interested. It comes with free shipping and can arrive as early as September 3--or even sooner if you increase your shipping speed.
The ABS Master gaming PC comes equipped with an i7-10700K processor, an RTX 2060 Super, and 16GB of DDR4 RAM. That makes it one heck of a machine that's capable of running most modern games at 1080p with high settings. It also comes with a 512GB SSD. I'd recommend buying an extra SSD if you want to store a lot of games on your PC at once. The ABS Master also comes with a keyboard and mouse
Marvel's Avengers, on the other hand, releases September 4. As for its specs, Avengers requires 16GB of RAM, 110GB SSD space, an i7-4770K processor, and a GTX 1060 graphics card. The ABS Master gaming PC more than meets those requirements, so you'll be ready to go for its launch. Some of the unique features of the PC version include an unlocked frame rate, full customization of key and button mappings, and a 30GB high-resolution texture pack--the latter is included in the 110GB SSD space requirement.
We've seen a couple of betas for Marvel's Avengers, but if you want to learn more about how it plays, check out our Marvel's Avengers video breakdown. We cover every aspect of the game, including the gear and cosmetics systems as well as the single-player campaign and multiplayer

Fortnite Season 4 Challenges: Wolverine, Stark Robots, And More
Season 4 of Fortnite: Chapter 2 is officially here, and as usual, it introduces a ton of changes to the hit battle royale shooter. Dubbed The Nexus War, this season is themed around Marvel, and the likes of Thor, Iron Man, Groot, She-Hulk, Storm, and other superheroes have arrived in the game to thwart an invasion by Galactus.
Of course, a new season also means new challenges, and there are already a handful for players to complete. Clearing these tasks will level up your Season 4 battle pass, which in turn will unlock exclusive Marvel-themed cosmetics. In addition to the standard weekly missions, Epic is also rolling out a separate set of Wolverine challenges over the course of the season, which you'll need to complete to unlock the Wolverine skin. You cannot complete these challenges or play any of Season 4's content on iOS devices. You also cannot re-install the game on iOS, as Apple has terminated Epic Games' developer account. However, you can still play older content if you have the game on your phone.
If you need help completing this season's missions, we've rounded up all of our Fortnite Season 4 maps and guides below. We'll continue to update this list with additional maps and guides as Season 4 rolls on, so check back often for the latest

Riot games Reveals League of Legends Volibear's New Abilities
League of Legends’ Volibear update has finally been revealed in full following a livestream event that introduced players to the reworked version of the Relentless Storm. Volibear’s new set of abilities following his Visual and Gameplay Update preserve his role as a fighter while looking to give him more utility and a way to better keep up with more modern champions and their kits. The updates were fully revealed as well following the update to show what he can do which means it’ll soon be time for players to try him out themselves on the PBE and in real games. Volibear was first announced for a rework in mid-2019, so the champion’s reveal has been a long time coming now since it had to wait for Fiddlesticks to make his re-debut on the Rift first. You can find all of his abilities below to get an idea of how he stacks up against other champions and what playing as him will feel like. Volibear’s passive, named The Relentless Storm, has been completely overhauled. Instead of healing for 30 percent of his maximum health over six seconds when at low health, the champion’s attacks and abilities grant attack speed. This causes his basic attacks to deal bonus magic damage to nearby enemies.
Volibear's attacks and abilities grant attack speed, and eventually cause his basic attacks to deal bonus magic damage to nearby enemies.
Volibear gains speed towards enemies, stunning and damaging the first one he attacks.
Volibear damages an enemy, applying on-hit effects and marking them. Casting this spell again on the same target deals bonus damage and heals Volibear.
Volibear summons a lightning bolt at a location, dealing damage and slowing enemies while granting Volibear a shield if he's inside the blast radius.
Volibear leaps to a target location, slowing and damaging enemies beneath him while gaining bonus health. Enemy towers near his landing location become temporarily disabled.

CoD Games Of Summer Begins Today In Warzone & Modern Warfare
Season 5 of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare and Warzone is ongoing, but a mid-season update released this week has introduced new content and set the stage for an event called the Games of Summer. You check out the full CoD patch notes for a look at what's changed as part of the Season 5 Reloaded: Games of Summer update, but the next big component of it launches very soon, as the Games of Summer begin today, August 28, at 10 AM PT / 1 PM ET.
The Games of Summer event, which runs from August 28 to September 7, adds five single-player trials all Modern Warfare and Warzone players can participate in. The trials allow players to compete against each other by representing their respective country, which is determined by the country of your account's origination. These trials range from clearing out enemies while avoiding civilian targets to completing an obstacle course in the fastest time possible.
The players and countries with the most medals will receive an assortment of rewards, including vehicle skins, XP tokens, vehicle horns, calling cards, and Legendary weapon blueprints. Those who earn gold in each trial will also get the Legendary Assault Rifle Juliet Blueprint, a weapon built for "pure precision with a clear [that has a] non-magnified sight picture." You can get a look at
Alongside the Juliet blueprint, the recent update added a new LMG to the mix. Acquired through the Mainframe bundle, the FiNN LMG is a lightweight machine gun with an open-bolt design that is both agile and lethal.
Elsewhere in the update, Warzone got a new mode called King Slayer. It's a large-scale Team Deathmatch mode where the circle moves around the map instead of persistently collapsing during gameplay. The player with the highest score on the team is regarded as the "king" and whoever takes them out is rewarded with not only additional points but also a free Killstreak. Gunfight Tournament also makes a return to Warzone.

Call of Duty: Warzone Cheaters Are Being Matched Up Together as Punishment
Players who are suspected of cheating in Call of Duty: Warzone will now be forced into the same matches as punishment. The news was revealed by Call of Duty: Modern Warfare developer Infinity Ward on Twitter, which gave fans an update about its plans for fixing the influx of cheaters into the game's battle royale mode, Warzone
Starting this week, the matchmaking system will check and match suspected cheaters into the same lobbies so they can duke it out. May the best aimbot win.
Additional measures to support this change to the matchmaking system include notifying players when a cheating report results in a successful ban and "increased resources across backend tech, studio, and enforcement teams." As well as a set of dedicated security updates, Infinity Ward notes in the statement that there are still some new anti-cheat features on their way to Warzone. Namely, Report-A-Player functionality is coming to Killcam and Spectate modes, meaning players can catch hackers in the act with increased efficiency.
This follows a report from last week that found Warzone console players were going to great lengths to opt-out of crossplay altogether to get away from the abundance of cheaters running riot in the PC version of the game.

Fortnite’s new season pits Marvel’s biggest heroes against Galactus
The latest season of Fortnite is here, and in it a number of the most important Marvel heroes collaborate to assist save the battle royale island.
The new season — technically Chapter 2: Season 4 — is dubbed “Nexus War,” and it’s a comic book book-style event where major characters team to repel the planet-destroying villain Galactus. those that purchase Fortnite’s seasonal battle pass are going to be ready to unlock the likes of Iron Man, Storm, Mystique, Doctor Doom, Groot, and She-Hulk, along side an amnesiac Thor. Developer Epic also says that a particular member of the X-Men are going to be available later within the season: “Be warned, Wolverine has been spotted on the island and he won’t come quietly.”
We’ve known that Fortnite’s new season would be Marvel-themed since last week, and Epic followed that up by releasing an in-game magazine detailing the upcoming story. The comics explain just how the crossover happened; essentially, the facility of Fortnite’s island lured Thor and Galactus, with Thor eventually summoning other heroes — including Iron Man, Wolverine, and Captain America — to assist . At one point Thor drops his iconic hammer, and a crater actually appeared on the Fortnite island in-game where it landed. The comic ended with the phrase “to be continued in season four.” Epic describes the conflict as “the war to save lots of reality.”
Fortnite has long been home to licensed superhero characters, from The Avengers and Batman to more recent inclusions like Deadpool and Aquaman. However, an entire themed season is new territory for the battle royale game. The newest update follows season 3, in which a giant storm flooded the island for a time.
Of course, there’s a lot more happening in the world of Fortnite than just a new season. Epic is currently in the midst of a legal tussle with both Apple and Google over app store fees. The developer first snuck in a new payment option in the mobile versions of Fortnite; Apple and Google both responded by kicking the game out of their stores, which resulted in a lawsuit from Epic. The developer even released a parody video and Fortnite tournament to generate support.
Because of this, the new Marvel-themed season of Fortnite will be the first that isn’t available on all platforms. Those who play the game on Apple devices — that includes iPhone, iPad, and Mac — don’t have access to the latest update.

The Call of Duty League’s championship team will win this ridiculous throne
The winner of this weekend’s Call of Duty League championship will get the traditional assortment of goodies, including a trophy, a ring, and a hefty chunk of a $4.6 million prize pool. But the league is additionally offering something different to crown the winning team: a literal throne.
The imposing piece of furniture is that the brainchild of designer Sheron Barber, who is best-known for reimagining luxury fashion and dealing with stars like Post Malone and Russell Westbrook. The chair hasn’t actually been completed yet — what you see in these images is simply a render — but the finished product are going to be made from a material called Formica, with a titanium finish. And once a winner has been crowned, more details are going to be added, including player names and statistics from the 2020 season. the finished piece — which is described as a “functional but elevated gaming throne” — is predicted to ship to the winning team in September.
The CDL finals will take place on August 29th and 30th, with four teams battling for the (literal) throne. Those include the Chicago Huntsmen, Atlanta Faze, London Royal Ravens, and Dallas Empire. The league kicked off its inaugural season this year as a new incarnation of Call of Duty esports, this time focused on city-based teams much like a traditional sports league. However, like most professional gaming circuits, the CDL had to shift to an online format due to the ongoing pandemic.
Without an arena full of fans, Activision is trying something different to form the championship experience feel a touch more special. The league has created a virtual set inside a bunker in Verdansk, a fictional city that’s the setting of the battle royale Call of Duty: Warzone. The bunker will broadcast talent as they are going over the competition in between games. It’ll even be home to a virtual trophy celebration, in lieu of an in-person one.
Here’s an early version of what the space will look like; Activision says the ultimate version are going to be slightly updated

Info on subsequent Dragon Age game remains scarce — BioWare has yet to announce a politician title or maybe boast the game’s cast — but the team behind the hotly anticipated game has some insight to share. The developer released a behind-the-scenes video today with a couple of more clues: a story about “what happens once you don’t have power? What happens when the people responsible aren’t willing to deal with the issues?” said lead writer Patrick Weekes.
The video features brief interviews with various members of the staff, who mention their philosophies on character design, a glance at concept art, and the way BioWare is tackling its next big project.
Dragon Age is “still in early production,” according to BioWare GM Casey Hudson. BioWare has been teasing the next Dragon Age since The Game Awards 2018, when it showed off a brief teaser of the yet-to-be-named sequel. The new game appears to continue the story of Dragon Age Inquisition.
