The label "strong woman" is such a weird thing because, how exactly do we establish what a strong woman is?
I guess some people would consider strong a woman that has muscles to spare and can kick anyone's ass. That's one valid way to be strong, but how about other kinds of strenght?
How about the emotional strenght it took Snow White and Cinderella to live years as servants in their own houses because of their abusive step-mothers, but they still had hope for things to get better and loved the dwarfs and their animal friends?
How about the strenght of character that Ariel and Jasmine showed when they stood up to their fathers for wanting to decide what's best for them and who they should or shouldn't marry?
How about the strenght of morality that Mulan and Pocahontas showed when they fought against prejudice and pushed back the social norms of their times for the causes they believe in?
Or the physical strenght it took Tiana to handle two jobs at once, her strenght of character when she put Naveen in his place anytime he was cocky and her strenght of morality for refusing Dr Facilier's deal?
The truth is, we can't help writing strong women, because all women are strong in different ways.
#very fair criticism#my mistake for not taking in consideration the historic inspiration for the movie#and for forgetting to include Esmeralda#reblog#disney princesses

Memes are definitely easier to make than arts, but it still takes effort to think of a joke, make sure it wasn't already done by someone else, find the right pictures to use (because they don't magically show up on my feed), create new stickers if it's necessary and put everything together (it's even more difficult for those who don't use a specific app).
I have a page that mostly posts memes, and I don't want my ideas to be used to make popular someone uncreative who doesn't respect other content creators. Making memes would be just a fun activity if I didn't have to worry about opportunists. And it's a real issue because people can even get their accounts suspended for stealing memes!
If you don't mind people reposting your memes without credit, fine. But I don't want my memes to be stolen, therefore I'll use my watermarks. Easy as that. I don't understand why it's an issue what I do with my content.

Because there's people that repost memes without permission, the same way they repost arts and videos to make others believe they made it and get easy likes.
It happened to me pretty often before I started to use a watermark, and even then it was simply ignored. I had to dm some of the pages that reposted my memes to ask for credit.
Luckly most of them were respectful, like this person.

If I didn't use a watermark with my pfp, how was I going to prove that I made the meme?

Okay, that’s good. I didn’t want to annoy you with my ocs. I can’t wait to talk about them more with you especially since I got a lot more for them including some other ocs.

I had to look up their heighs because I don't use feet to measure things up. In Italy we use different types of pasta to do that 🍝🤌 //j
So if I got it right, Hugo is more than two meters tall??? And he's a teenager? I was pretty tall as a child and I had even taller classmates in highschool, but is Hugo's really that big or did I get the wrong results? Because that's an impressive height to reach even for an adult.
Unless of course that's part of his character experience. He's incredibly tall because of medical reasons or something else and he faces struggles for this reason.

The problem with Jax (and what his die-hard stans don't get) is that his coping mecanism is going ruin him no matter what the other characters will do.
If Pomni and the others keep trying to be his friends, Jax will continue to be a bully to push them away. BUT-! If they start to avoid him all the time and Jax has nobody left who cares about him, he's just going to suffer, because healty relationships seem to be the only way to not lose your mind in the digital circus.
But it's not up to Pomni or Ragatha to change him. The change has to come from Jax himself! And whatever happens to him, is his problem.
You can't save a rabbit that doesn't want to be saved.

The "acceptable" cheating trope.
Where the love interest of the main character is already in a relationship, but it's okay for them to emotionally or even further cheat with the mc because they're soul-mates, when it's actually protagonist priviledge.
Even if I agree that the mc and their love interest work well together and have more chemisty, it's still not okay for them to cheat and be a homewrecker. The love interest should break up with their partner before committing to another relationship.
I've seen people defending this trope when the love interest is in a toxic relationship or the "rival" is abusive. But in all honesty cheating just makes everything worse. If a relationship is toxic, betraying their partner's trust like that won't make it healty, and if they're being abused, the priority should be to get the victim (and the kids if they have them) as far away from the abuser as possible.
what is one niche media trope that always annoys you?
for me, it's when the animal/non-human comic relief has a huge crush on the main character/love interest for some reason (it's always the goofy male sidekick and the conventionally attractive female love interest too).

Welcome to my new fanart series.
This time I'll draw all the main circus members (so no Cofmo, Ribbit and Queenie, sorry) in galà outfits!
Think of this like redesigns just for the latest episode, because I thought it would have been cool if the characters wore something elegant for the favorite character awards.
The first one that gets a redesign is our girl Gangle🎀 She's wearing a long "dress" made with her red ribbons. If you're wondering how she's supposed to move, you have to imagine the movements of the knees and the legs walking like the ribbon is an entire piece of cloth.
She has two accessories: a bag where she keeps her sketchbook and pencil, and diamond earrings that remind of the teardrops on her sad mask.
Next one is Zooble 🌟 Theif outfit is just as missmatched as their body parts, but this time it's on purpose. Embrace the weirdness!
The "flower" on her jacket is a gift from Gangle of course. For their visible bodyparts, I gave them a silly frog feet and a lego hand because I still can't believe the animators haven't thought of this idea yet (or maybe they can't use it for legal reasons). On the head Zooble has a star and a tuft of hair that they move anytime they feel bonita.

Thank you for ideas and sorry for asking you for so much of it. I been excited to talk to someone about these ocs a lot. So sorry I’m doing a lot. I’ll stop if you want.
You're welcome and don't worry. It wasn't anything stressful to come up with those ideas.
I know how you feel because I have ocs too. You can keep talking about them from time to time, I won't mind.
But jsyk I'm studying for exams these two weeks, so it's going to take me a bit longer than usual to answer asks.

I want to believe they're talking about Cait's heavy British accent and not Vi not understanding her because she uses big words that she's too dumb-dumb to understand.
Kind of tired of people making fun of Vi's intelligence and comparing hers to Caithyn and Jinx, as if she's only good for throwing punched and stopping them with her face.

So, I have this character in my Hazbin Hotel rewrite that doesn't have a name because they don't exist in the show.
They're an imp, pangender and own a thrift store in Pride, but they're also the leader of a secret anti-sinners army.
Can you help me dicide what should I call them? 📝

The fact we never saw Huntr/x perform with these costumes is criminal! 😤
I just dislike Zoey's purple socks. Maybe longer ones would have been better.

Honestly, i think Jinu is a better written version of Catra.
Because even if Jinu did a lot of bad and sellfish things throught the movie, at least it was easier to sympathize with him and he had somewhat of a more believable justification/explanation for his actions (being a starving kid in past Korea that could barely make a living).
And the movie never tries to make you look past his actions, but they also show you that he regreted what he did and he doesn't like doing that, but he is either being forced by Gwi Ma or he is doing it to try forgeting about the mistakes he commited, also let's not forget that once he starts getting interest in Rumi he never once try to actually hurt her.
The only time i can think when this happened, is when he makes a bunch of demons disguise themselves as Mira and Zoey, but again he was being pressured by Gwi Ma and it was obviously he didn't wanted to do that.
Hold on. I agree that Jinu is better written than Catra, but you're being a bit too kind to him.
Jinu has a symphatetic backstory that explains how he ended up as one of Gwi-Ma's pawns. However I wouldn't say it's easier to symphatize with him than Catra when she was raised to be a child soldier by people who lied about their goals and she had to deal with an abusive mother figure that would have gotten rid of her at any moment.
Yes, Jinu was extrimely poor, but he had a family that actually loved him.
You're forgetting that Jinu is the one who walked up to Gwi-Ma and suggested the idea of the demon boy band, not the other way around.
While Gwi-Ma's threats played a role in Jinu's actions, the guy went ahead with his own plan because he had something to gain from winning: getting his memories erased. And he hurt Rumi by using the things she told him to trigger her during the Idol Awards. Using Rumi's fears and insecuritues against her is something Catra did to Adora too.

Even if Jinu felt sorry for betraying Rumi, he still did it, when she gave him the chance to follow her plan and live among humans, free from Gwi-Ma's control. But doing that would have meat that Jinu's memories wouldn't be gone, as well as the shame that came with them.
Jinu's motivations ARE selfish, just like they were when he left his family. It's a parallelism, his flaw that makes his character three-dimentional and interesting. If you stripp him away of that, you miss out how impactful his sacrifice at the end of the movie was (and you play the same game as Catra's apologists)
