Breaking my hiatus for this quick post because i’m absolutely DISGUSTED by the Neil Gaiman allegations.

I grew up with his works. I remember being a kid and doing a book report on ‘Coraline’ & making a (poorly made) gingerbread house of the pink palace. My mom was a huge fan, too, with her personal favorites being ‘American Gods’ and ‘The Ocean at the End of The Lake’. So, to say these allegations are fucking soul crushing is an understatement.

Separating art from artist feels a little… I don’t know, impossible to do in this case? I love ‘Good Omens’ — I even bought the book & was gifted the cutest aziracrow enamel pin by my bestie — so while I’m still eager to see how they managed to finish Crowley & Aziraphale’s story amidst of the allegations, I genuinely don’t know how I’ll be able to watch it without thinking about Gaiman & the horrible, degrading things he did to women. I’m sure i’m not the only one who feels like this.

I’ll most definitely be pirating s3 if/when I’m able to look at that show the same way again. But, honestly? I’m a little relieved that they turned the last season into just an hour long movie, idk how the fuck I could survive 8 episodes of Good Omens knowing what we know now.
