Thinking of something that has been on my mind for. Awhile since Date everything came out so this is gonna be ANOTHER RANT POST- hear me out till the end please,,,

This is petty, and I am not one to one to hate on or even dislike ships. Even if they're immoral to ME because I cannot change your mind on those ships, and you cannot change my mind. That being said.

I do NOT FUCK WITH THE SHIP DIRK/WASHFORD/DRYSDALE. in my opinion, actually, it's like the worst thing you can ship out of everything in the game even if theres nothing technically WRONG with it.

You are super duper allowed to like it!! You do not need my permission or grace to do so, but as you can have your opinion on it, so can I and I hate it with every fiber of my being.

It goes against EVERYTHING that is Washford and Drysdale's characters, they are madly, unequivocally in love with each other, and I know, I know. They're fictional and you can ship a character in a canon relationship with another character that isn't their partner!! I do it all the time!! I fuck with Drysdale/Keith alot, BUT, it's literally not something either of them would like???

Again. If you were Drysdale and you lost your partner due to your actions, would you want to be in a polycule with the man you lost previously AND THE MAN YOU EMOTIONALLY CHEATED ON YOUR PARTNER WITH??? HUH??? IDK ABOUT YOU BUT I WOULDNT.

And if you were Washford, would you want to be in a relationship with the guy your previous partner EMOTIONALLY. CHEATED. ON. YOU. WITH. I think I would be very fucking uncomfortable. I can not lie to you.

And no, this isn't me hating on age gap relationships because I don't care, and this is my dirty laundry, washer and dryer😭😭 BUT I find zero appeal to this ship. Like at all. I do not get, I do not see how people looked at these three and went "heh, yeah, they fuck." But like.

LOOKING FOR COMMISSIONS!!

I know this isn't normally the type of stuff I post on this platform but I am currently having a financial problem (don't ask for details because it's hard to explain) and I need some help so this is me trying to promote my work.

The first pic is a commission I've done, second is my own dog, 3rd is a friend's dog, and then the last 3 are other animals I drew out of boredom.

The reason some of them say @slothy_draws is because that is my TikTok account that they were originally posted on.

I can draw your pets or just any animals you would like me to! I also can draw cartoon characters but I figured I wouldn't make as much from that. I need to raise at least $200 and I don't put specific prices on any of my drawings so I will take pretty much whatever you offer me, so anything helps and will be appreciated!!

THANK YOU AGHHHH- I think about their reunion all the time, and I am still not done. I have more i want to share.

I hate the fact that their reunion was replaced with a sex joke because that is furthering their problems, the issue that they had in the first place. It is very clear in both Washford and Drysdale's dialogue that their relationship was FAR more sexual than it was romantic. It felt so much more to Washford (and he talks about their sexual encounters with fondness and it's laced with intimacy at a deeper level), but Drysdale can't go a second without bringing up how great Washford was in bed and it's always just how pleasurable the experience was, not the fact it was with Washford.

And them being basically partners with benefits SCREWED THEM OVER because they never communicated that they both wanted more. That is why they are still stuck on the terms "friend" "partner" "companion" and nothing else. So their reunion, being a sex joke, made me rip my hair out because of all the layers of MISCOMMUNICATION THAT IS HAPPENING RIGHT NOW

The line about Drysdale calling you a cheeky monkey not changing even if you romance them is bad BOTH ways. Having him tell Washford he's the only one for him has gotta hurt for MC, especially since they're now in that polycule!!! it makes MC feel like a third wheel more than another lover (which is another poor writing choice) And then it's wrong even MORE so if you're just their friend, cause it makes Washford's jealousy and hurt more harmful because Drysdale just made sexual advances to a person Washford knows is just their friend and Drysdale just plays it of, LIKE IT'S WRONG AND I HATE IT

If you were Drysdale, and if you just lost the man you love because of YOUR actions, specifically FLIRTING WITH ANOTHER PERSON IN FRONT OF HIM, you wouldn't want to do that again in fear of losing the man you love AGAIN. BUT GUESS WHAT DRYSDALE DOES??? It hurts so much because they had an opportunity to give Drysdale a character arc that still felt in character but he just continues to be an asshole. I love him BECAUSE I see the potential.

WHERE WERE THE TEARS, THE DRYSDALE BELIEVING HE'S UNDESERVING OF FORGIVENESS BECAUSE HOW COULD WASHFORD CONTINUE TO LOVE HIM AFTER THAT. WHERE IS IT. CAUSE I DONT FUCKING SEE IT-

Drysdale calls Stepford a snack and tells Washford not to worry. They wrote Drysdale to make him reassure Washford he would never leave him again like HOW DOES HE KNOW HE WONT? A LITTLE CHARACTER DEVELOPMENT MAY HAVE BEEN NICE????

If Drysdale flirted with the MC?? I get it, it makes sense for the game and Washford understands but EVEN THEN OH MY GOD EVEN THEN, when Drysdale calls you a cheeky monkey, Washford gets visibly jealous until Drysdale reassures him that he's the only for him, and i hate that you still get that dialogue EVEN IF YOU ROMANCE BOTH OF THEM.
