whenever i see a post about someone wondering how an asexual and a sexual can be in a healthy relationship there’s always someone being applauded for saying well asexuals can have sex too or just because someone’s asexual doesn’t mean they won’t have sex but i have never, not once, EVER seen someone say well hey, some sexuals don’t have sex. you can have a full relationship without sex. just throwing it out there

#Personal #I've got a fic idea that keeps hanging around at the back of my mind #involving a character I headcanon as ace #and it struck me as a perfect opportunity to address/explore exactly that #I'm still working out the plot so they've got life events going on outside of the development of their relationship with each other #(alas it's almost always the plot that throws a wrench in the works for me)#but I love the central two characters a lot and I hope I actually get to commit something to paper someday
