Life is fragile

It’s been over a year since my first miscarriage and I’m coming up on the anniversary of my second.

I wish I would have taken the time and allowed myself to heal instead of attaching myself to their father who treated me like a piece of shit.

Finally walking away was hard but necessary. I can finally heal and work through the pain. I can let go of all of the disappointment and misery. I can learn to forgive myself and love my body again.

Back then, I wasn’t ready to let go and accept the loss. I ended up creating more damage and caused unnecessary pain by patching on to a person who didn’t truly love me. They tossed me away every time they couldn’t handle life only to beg me to come back again and again. And I did. A rollercoaster ride into hell.

I’ve let go. I’m accepting the loss. I’m forgiving. It’s hard but happening. I may not be perfect but I choose what I deserve.
