And That Makes Seven
Firstly, the number seven is symbolically a very powerful number – apparently it symbolises every positive and valuable matter in existence like a prosperous life, happiness, renewal and perfection and that couldn’t be more fitting for my seventh inking. To think after my first one I thought that was going to be my only one – hahaha – so silly!
So the inspiration for this beautiful piece is the…

A Conversation with Alex Crockford
A Conversation with Alex Crockford - catching up from our last chat over two years ago!
So it’s been over two years since I did my first interview with the ever lovely Alex Crockford – and it very much was an interview (see at the bottom for the originl interview) and then Alex putting me through a bit of a workout, roll forward to 2019…
I’ve subsequently met up with Alex a few times over the last two years from his meet up in Hyde Park, as part of Team Fitbit at last year’s Adidas…

Selfie Factory
Selfie Factory Fun - a wonderful day of craziness! Apologies for all the narcissistic photos but it was for taking selfies, so what do you expect!? Haha!
So a few months ago I got an email that the Selfie Factory was coming to Bluewater – I read about it and knew I couldn’t miss such a fun and crazy opportunity! But who to take with me!? There really was no question who I would ask – my wonderful and beautiful fellow blogger friend – Ayla, and fortunately, she was just as excited as me!
So initially we discussed going for an hour – then I noticed…

Danson Runners
A year ago today – 19th April 2018 – I made what I believe is one of the best decisions of my life – I joined the best running group in my humble opinion – the Danson Runners!
Tumblr media
My First Ever Danson Runners Run
So how did it all came about? Well, by April 2018 I’d been working as a fitness instructor/personal trainer for three months – and I loved and still love my job, but between that, the kids…

Notes to Strangers - A Walking Tour
Notes to Strangers - A Walking Tour - A workout for the mind :-)
So you may have seen them for yourself, pasted up in and around London, brightly coloured pieces of paper with a thoughtful message, or random sentence – that stops you in your tracks and makes you think or just laugh. You may even follow Notes to Strangers (NTS)on Instagram. Well, I do – and because of this, I came across that the creator behind Notes to Strangers Andy Leek runs NTS Walking…

2018 Best Nine
Firstly Happy New Year – Hope you had fun bringing in the new year! The Hubby and I saw the new year in watching Deadpool 2 and then the fireworks on TV! In bed by 12:20am! Rock ‘n’ roll!
So, like a lot of my blog posts, this started life as an Instagram caption but got rather lengthy so it graduated to being my first (unplanned) blog post of 2019! Woo!
I downloaded my Best Nine Instagram posts…

Tatt it Again!
So it’s not that long ago that I shared with you Tattoo Tales – which explains my reasons behind why I got the tattoos I have and every single one means something very important to me and I love them.
Now usually there are about two years between each time I’ve got a tattoo – this time it didn’t work out that way, it’s only been about 4 months since I got my…

adidas City Runs - Shoreditch 10k
adidas City Runs - Shoreditch 10k with team #TeamFitbit
I was extremely lucky to have been invited to run the adidas City Runs Shoreditch 10k as part of #TeamFitbit and thoroughly looked forward to it.
In the end, I was exceptionally grateful that I could actually run because a couple of weeks before the event I took a nasty tumble whilst out running which resulted with me unable to run for nearly two weeks!!! That was no fun for anyone, haha!…

Tattoo Tales
In recent years I have become genuinely fascinated by tattoos, a lot of my friends have them which made me realise how stunning they could be, but I have been known to stare at complete strangers tattoos, which isn’t always the best thing to be caught doing. Though every so often it has resulted in an unexpected and interesting conversation. Finding out why they had it done, was it just teenage…

Vitality Healthy Kids inspired by Disney - Flossing
Vitality Healthy Kids inspired by Disney – Flossing
So towards the end of last year, I was asked by Vitality if I would like to be involved in a campaign for encouraging healthy habits in kids – but not only me, my two children would be involved too!
Well, I couldn’t miss this opportunity as not only was it with Vitality, who I thoroughly enjoyed working with on their #WomenInSportcampaign, but also Disney – so there wasn’t any way I could say…

Crockfit Fitness Weekend - Seriously Good Mood Food!
Crockfit Fitness Weekend – Seriously Good Mood Food!
For the Crockfit weekend (yes I know it was back in January I went, but I’ve been busy and I promise this post was well worth the wait) we were catered for by the amazingly talented Ceri Jones of Natural Kitchen Adventures – not only were the meals tasty and delicious, they were wholesome and healthy with the right balance of our macronutrients (carbs, fats and protein) and supplying plenty of…

Crockfit Fitness Weekend - Why did I do it?
Crockfit Fitness Weekend – Why did I do it?
It may surprise you, or not, but at this point in my life, nearly mid-30s I’d never been anywhere really on my own – I’ve always gone away with family, friends or my Hubby (and obviously in more recent years the kiddies). So when, in about Sept 2017, I saw Alex Crockford advertising a fitness weekend it really caught my eye as something I would love to be involved in and attend. I spoke to the…

Crockfit Fitness Weekend – Cuddlies for my Kiddies
So towards the end of January, I went on a Fitness Weekend being hosted by Alex Crockford, with Replenish You, held in a beautiful manor house in Loughborough. I will share with you soon as to why I did this and all the amazing details covering the exercise and food over various blog posts but before, that I thought I would share some of the photos I took over the weekend to send back to my…

New love for Netball
New love for Netball
I was really happy to see this article a few weeks back –  Netball: The sport which is seeing a big boom in England, it is fantastic to hear, especially as my niece is an avid (and exceptionally good) netball player and which links nicely with what this post is all about! NETBALL!!! Towards the end of 2017, I was extremely lucky to spend the entire weekend going back and forth to Stratford and…

Time to Talk Day 2018
As the saying goes “Everyone you meet is fighting a battle you know nothing about. Be Kind. Always” I am a face of anxiety. But you can’t necessarily tell who is battling their inner demons because they conceal it all behind a smiley face, a bouncy bubbly personality, lots of what seems like boundless self-confidence or possibly they keep it all behind closed doors, keeping themselves to…
