I think adhd havers should get handicapped parking spaces because in big parking lots I forget where I park and the parking space labeled with blue is easy to remember
(this is a joke, like yes it would be helpful but also actually doing it would make the spaces less available to the people who really need them, and my silly brain issue isn’t a good reason to do that)

Ngl if I was choking to death I think I would die because I wouldn’t tell anyone I’d just sit there. Like on one hand I’m dying but on the other hand I don’t want to make a scene. Like I get that there’ll be an even bigger scene after I die but at least I won’t be there for it.

Important info for any women reading this (or men with female loved ones) stock up, because you might not get another chance
Something I just learned today:
Plan B has a shelf life of 4 years. That means if you purchase it, you know, sometime before the new year- it will be good for 4 years.

Remember guys, sometimes elevators get sick. When this occurs it’s best to leave them alone so they can recover. If they do not already know alert the building’s maintenance dept, who are also elevator doctors. They will supply the elevator with all the chicken noodle soup it needs to get better.
Be kind to your elevators and they will be kind to you

My German teacher also did this. For one of my assignments I wrote about a reoccurring feud with a bear, where I fought it several times. On my final I wrote about how I died and came back to wreak 1000 years of darkness on the earth, but then the bear returned…
I told my students they're allowed to be creative and don't have to be factual when writing about themselves in German because I keep getting questions like "what if I don't have roommates or what if I don't have hobbies" and I'm like guys just make something up! Have fun! I won't fact check you!
So now I am grading homework where a student is claiming to be from North Korea and his hobby is tax fraud

I LITERALLY JUST INFO-DUMPED TO ONE OF MY FRIENDS ABOUT THIS EXACT TOPIC A FEW DAYS AGO. Like this exact thing, I even got the info from learning the etymology of werewolf.
I am insanely happy about this
Although I never knew that the word wereman was actually used, I just came to the conclusion that it should be based on etymology. I feel so validated by history.
What's the gender neutral term for werewolf?
The female equivalent is a "wifwolf" but I don't think there's a gender neutral term.
As you know, man and men were once gender neutral (hence mankind) and had prefixes to denote gender ("Wereman" for male and "Wifman" for female)
The "were" prefix was dropped, just leaving us with "men" and the "wif" prefix was kept, eventually became the words "woman/women" and "wife"
Therefore, I propose that the term should be "Manwolf."
Thank you for coming to my Ted talk.

My friends and I used to do this thing where we'd dress up on a theme and go do something totally normal.
We dressed up as pirates and went bowling.
We dressed as vikings and went to the grocery store. The security guard told us we had to move our longship because it was illegally parked.
We dressed as Romans and went to Blockbuster. The staff chanted, "toga! Toga! Toga!" at us.
We dressed up all steampunk and went to the museum. Tourists kept taking our picture.

Can you help keep the pets of Atlanta from going hungry?
From PAWS Atlanta: We just gave out our last bag of dry dog food and are completely out of dry cat food. Our community pet food bank is run entirely on donations, and the need is constant, as pet food is getting harder increasingly expensive.
We urgently need both wet and dry cat and done food, any brands and any size. Because we are sharing the food with the community, we can only distribute unopened, unexpired items.
Donations can be dropped off or shipped to PAWS ATLANTA 5287 Covington Highway 30035. If you live in the area, we have a donation bin set up just outside our gate in the parking lot. Supporting our pet food bank is a really thoughtful way to help another pet owner keep their animals fed, healthy and at home where they belong.
If you need food support, please call or DM us before you come out to make sure we have what you need.

Analog horror is not scarce, it’s just that you don’t often see it theatrically released. it’s usually on websites like YouTube, for two reasons: it’s an insanely accessible sub-genre, and the internet video format fits much better than a theatrical release.
we need more analog horror. the potential, I mean we’re living in the age of technology & we still have a lack of the analog sub-genre?!

My arms are so tired rn that I needed two hands to use a spray bottle :(
I defeated the green route on my college climbing wall and I am so happy rn I don’t care that it was only rated 5.8 in difficulty this is my greatest athletic accomplishment (that I willingly put myself through) and I’m not currently dying! I will be going back to it to defeat it again without breaks (hopefully before it gets replaced)
