Occasionally I log in here and it’s like seeing the relics of a past life.

So, Notre Dame is on fire. One of the greatest architectural achievements in history is at risk right now. It started around 6:30 pmish and as of this post it’s still spreading after an hour and a half. This is a serious threat to the structural integrity of the cathedral and it is honestly likely that quite a few irreplaceable pieces of France’s history have been lost forever already. The cathedral houses many relics that are incredibly important to the Judeo Christian faith, including The Crown of Thorns, and as of right now there is no word about if these precious relics are safe.

Oh, we’re making up rules again.

For the trillionth time: I do not support or condone suicide. Suicide is not a way to deal with your problems. If you are having suicidal thoughts, seek professional care from a qualified medical professional. 

Spookyowl, NikkonDragon, ExxonDragon, DragonLover187 or whatever that one was, Silverskings, Voltron-Dragon, Leffie-Draws-Fanart-Dramas, Perseusdanke and at least two others that I can’t be bothered to look up right now. And at least the first 4-5 of that list “killed themselves”. Except that they didn’t. They were all you. And here you are. 

You can do whatever you want. That is your choice, but it is yours alone. You don’t get to make up rules to try to place blame on people for your choices. That’s just avoiding responsibility for your actions. Whatever you do, it will not be my fault (or anyone else’s fault) in any way, shape, or form. 

You and you alone are responsible for your actions. Several people on this website have befriended you, advised you, tried to get you to seek the help you so desperately need. But you don’t want help. You want attention. You want to make excuses. “I’m a narcissist, I have bpd, I was sexually assaulted, so-and-so was mean to me.” 

None of that excuses the decisions you’ve chosen to make. Mental illness and trauma aren’t excuses to be an asshole. Years of death threats and bullying messages, “hiding” behind anonymity, and you don’t see me going around saying you are the cause of any of my problems, or hell, demanding that you pay for my therapy or medications like you did a few years back.

You want attention, and you’re done getting it here.
