The post WaT herald therapy sessions are going to be so wild from Kaladin's POV.

Like first we have Chana, who is going to end up sobbing admitting that she selfishly tried to kill her daughter and set her up as replacement for herself. Then Kaladin is going to learn that said daughter is Shallan. HIS Shallan.

Then he's gonna be helping out Battar and she's gonna mention spiking some guy for Odium and it's gonna turn out to be Moash, who Kaladin last saw when he murdered Teft.

Then while talking to Nale they are gonna circle back to the Davar family and talk about Helaran being sent to kill Amaram to THEN have Kalak jump in and mention that he told Amaram to enslave the soldier who killed Helaran so Amaram could take the shards. Said soldier being KALADIN HIMSELF.

Like, our boy is going to discover that a bunch of his life's messes are due to the meddling of his new immortal coworkers.

I honestly can’t remember what was going through my head. I drew this years ago. It’s possible I was working from an explicit description of a ritual to become a Talon, or I may have been taking creative license. Either way, it was something to do with Talon coronation.

are we going to talk about how evka and antoine are just handing out to the joining to everyone who’s dying of blight and doesn’t want to die of blight and then not making them be wardens because it’s so funny they rlly said who cares

Emmrich mentions having a proper memorial made for his parents after he becomes a Watcher, and now I’m imagining this being the first time in his life he actually has money to spare on luxuries, and the first thing he does is get his parents nice graves. Also since he was born in poverty, it’s very likely they weren’t initially buried in the Memorial Garden.

So he had returned to his hometown he hasn’t seen in years, tried to not look too long at the place their family home used to be, located their meager graves, and…what? Did he hire someone to help exhume them? Did he do it himself? And transported their remains, decayed beyond the point of recognition, back to the nicest plot he could afford in the Memorial Gardens, with the beautiful grave stones he had commissioned just for them.

There’s catharsis in the act, but it also leaves him a bit melancholy. But don’t worry. Once he has time to process and get feeling better, he realizes that he still has a nice little pile of money and discovers the concept of treating himself. He did the emotionally heavy act of love for his parents that he’s been thinking about for years, and now he can buy nice clothes and colognes and fancy cheeses.

Velabanchel is an infamous and feared prison where the Antivan Crows incarcerate victims for "fun and torture". The prison's reputation has earned it the nickname "The House of Graves". The prison is virtually impenetrable, as it is located on a rocky outcrop over the freezing sea and literally swarming with seasoned assassins.

Can we stop acting like "imprison illario" is an option equivalent to a fun vacation. This is likely where he is being sent in that scenario.
