Eclipsa presses both of her palms to either side of her husband’s cheeks and gives his face a small SMOOSH. It’s been so long since she’s been ABLE to even touch him. And ... YET , here she is, smushing her love’s face with the biggest, warmest smile upon her face. She hums to herself as she does so. Sorry, Globby. Your boo is weird.

“I’m here, my pitch-black peony.” He smiled, all too eagerly leaning into the touches. He had been starved of her presence for three hundred years. In truth, he never thought he’d see her again-- and yet here she was. The way her eyes lit up when she smiled was magic.

It didn’t matter where they were-- or what they were doing-- he had her. He had her.

His arms slipped about her waist as he drew her close, fangs chewing on his bottom lip as he nervously took all of her in. It still felt surreal-- that they were together-- and that the kingdom was fine with it.

They finally found a place to be happy-- to be open about their love.

Leaning down he placed his forehead against hers, closing all four of his eyes as he inhaled deeply. Her scent was unmistakable. She smelled of potions-- of smoke and cinder. Now that he had her in his arms, he wouldn’t let go.

Never again.
