I'm actually not sure if I've ever posted Agnes here, but I made her design last year and haven't done any art of her since. She's a retired thief, now a treasure evaluator slash cashier who works under Cash (the one who bailed her out of the Sol Empire's prisons), being one of their first employees. Agnes isn't into field work, so she's happy to spend her time hanging around the shop now. She does have some weak earth manipulation abilities, so they're just right for her job.

Think I might do an art piece of her at the shop?? We'll see :)

Okay, but the people need to know:

Does Vendetta eat coffee beans raw, like Shadow? Does she also have the 20 minute skin care routine? If not, does she have any other quirks you would want to share? :>

I'd say her closest replacement for coffee beans is corned beef hash! But not the nice home-cooked kind. She eats it straight from the can. Same with cranberry sauce.

A few other fun lil facts:

- No skincare routine, but her highlights are dyed (in her origin story, they're closer to cyan, like her eyes - eyeshadow was darker blue)

- Vendetta's fur smells like lavender.

- She doesn't like the beach, but it's specifically because of the sand.

- She hates being touched outside of a very small amount of people (doesn't apply to combat scenarios)

- She does like shopping, however you'd probably only find her at Hot Topic or Spencer's IRL

- Her hair is intended to be a reference to raccoon tails (scene stripes)!

Looking at your pfp/"Don't we look more alike now?" for the first time, I thought it was just angrily Blaze yapping to Vendetta about something and them using the Sol Emeralds as sort of phones (with Vendetta's claws/fingers being the speech bubbles)

Great art tho! And for an ask, since I'm new here: Who is your version of Knuckles and maybe even Amy or Rouge? Do they not exist yet -- if so, are there any plans for them? I'm just curious and would love to hear more lore~

Soo, I won't be doing an equivalent character for ~every~ Sonic character - or at least, not like perfect 1:1 matches. A lot of characters won't be linked at all, like Navette. Rouge and Knuckles both have planned equivalent characters I've been working on, though!

As of right now, I don't have art to show - but Rouge's equivalent is planned to be a male sugar glider with an eye scar. I'm still going bacm and forth on a species, but no matter what, it will be a flying/gliding character. He won't go out of his way to be flirty/seductive/whatever, but he'll definitely be the type to use looks to get what he wants.

As for Knuckles' equivalent, species is definitely still up in the air, but they will have plant-related abilities to round out Blaze's fire and Marine's water. I believe I had a moose or a ram in mind? Anywho, I've decided "Team Blaze" should all be female, since all of Team Sonic is male.

Saw in your pinned that you don't like your OCs being shipped - does that apply to OC x Canon or OC x OC ships (or, well, both)? Is it okay if we ship Vendetta with a canon character (like the ones you already hinted towards, Surge and Shadow or someone else)?

That just applies to OC x OC, as in other ppl's OCs! Since Vendetta is based on me in a lot of ways, and I'm pretty emotionally invested in her (practically a sona tbh), I just don't want her shipped with other peoples' characters.

I've also had some ppl be creepy with me about that stuff sooo yeEAahhh.. 😅

I'm fully okay with canon character ships though! Shadow, Surge, Rouge, etc.! Not to mention Navette (one of my other ocs) is her ex lmao 🫣

in your AU, whats the dynamic between vendetta and some of the official characters? havent seen much so far

YOOO hey anon, I was honestly hoping someone would ask something like this!!

I'm gonna be long-winded, hopefully you don't mind 🫣

Shadow - Probably the most straightforward dynamic. Being dimensional counterparts, the two were destined to be rivals. Unlike Vendetta's dynamic with Blaze, she doesn't have any deep-rooted problems with the hedgehog. Instead, their rivalry is more about clashing egos. Although they'll never admit it out loud... they enjoy sparring. Due to their similar personalities, they get along pretty well - although it's rarely obvious to an outsider. Vendetta usually initiates their casual hangouts, since she's a smidge more social. She's comfortable around him since he isn't super touchy, noisy, or annoying - and he appreciates someone who doesn't yap and quip constantly. Vendetta also keeps Team Dark/GUN by extension up-to-date on what's happening in the Sol Dimension, and vice versa. I'll admit there's a ship there (haven't done much with it tho), I jokingly call it "edgy sonaze"

Blaze - Obviously a rivalry, just like Sonic and Shadow. However, Vendetta's problems with Blaze have nothing to do with her personality - they're more to do with the system Blaze is the face of. Official Sonic media portrays Blaze as a cool princess, and she is, but it also doesn't go into any intricacies or ethical questions around her role & empire. Being a princess already sets her apart from her dimensional counterpart, Sonic. It's about order, not true freedom - & the theme of 'order' will come up again. Obviously, Blaze isn't evil, but she isn't aware of everything that happens (or happened) in her empire, including what happened to Vendetta. Vendetta strongly believes it's Blaze's responsibility to fix the issues within her empire, or else she doesn't deserve to rule at all. During Vendetta's equivalent to a SA2 arc, she takes this mindset a step further - she believes the empire deserves to be torn apart from the inside out. Blaze is trying to fix whatever problems she's aware of, but it's complicated - some of the koalas & other officials aren't forthcoming about certain things they have a hand in. Basically the two have different perspectives on how to keep the world safe, they clash because they struggle to understand the others' side, and that's how it is for most of SDE.

Marine -

Rouge - One of the few characters from Sonic's dimension that Vendetta interacts with semi frequently. They get along, they hang out, but Rouge is definitely the more playful/outgoing one. Vendetta can be flustered by her.

Sonic - For a Sonic AU, he's actually hardly present at all lmao. Vendetta's neutral on the guy. Vee doesn't particularly like or hate him, and they don't cross paths often. There's a mutual respect.
