- Optimism: He has a dream. He has a goal. He is giving his old life up to achieve it, despite the voices that were surrounding him telling him he couldn’t pull it off. That’s appealing! I want to be around someone like that, both because it’s enjoyable and because it creates an environment that helps support me in my own goals.

- Dedication: The man gave everything up to go live by himself in a shack in a nowhere town. He’s pulling 8 hour writing sprints. He’s giving up old hobbies to focus on what he wants to accomplish. Thats rad! That’s appealing!

- Desire for Connection and Understanding: Even though he’s living like a hermit, at his core he’s a people person. I think his most defining line of dialogue is when he notes that some people are shy at first, but if you keep showing interest they’ll get comfortable around you. So yes, he’s dedicated to his craft, but he also wants to be a part of his community. He’s ordering rounds of drinks, he’s chatting at the bar, he’s trying to get Clint out of his shell (“Everyone likes to have friends, even that grumpy blacksmith”). Is he perfect at it? No! But that’s okay! He’s trying, he’s showing genuine interest in people, he wants to connect. That’s Hot.

- Interest in Nature and the World Around Him: Sooooo many of Elliott’s lines are about nature and his experience of it. He loves it! It’s inspiring to him! He’s soaking in everything about his new life and the new world that surrounds him. It’s exciting to him, and he wants to share that excitement with the people around him and connect through it. Appealing!

- Authenticity: like… the dude is kind of awkward. He Is Being Himself. I wish I could be myself like that! He has several lines of dialog where he expresses understanding that you may not have interest in what he’s saying. But he says it anyway! Not into cringy poetry? Don’t care about tiny crabs living in pockets? He gets that. He respects that. But he’s still gonna do him.

- Him Hot: uhhhhhhhhhh i like that he has long red hair and a sturdy chest and dresses all fancy and has a strong jawline i wanna smooch him uhhhhhhh yeah that’s all for that one

Tl;Dr: He’s optimistic, dedicated, engaged, and attractive.

Hector had always seemed entranced by your softness. You figured it probably had something to do with how different you were from him. He was all hard angles, metal and engineering. You were just, well, you - all impressionable and pliable and imperfect.

Or your chest. He’d run his mouth and cheeks there, making a small, contented sound. “I can feel your heart beating,” he said. He didn’t seem to know what to say when you reached for him and said that you could feel his too.

And then between your legs. His curious mouth, which had filled your head with so many promises, so many ideas, now where you were softest. He was groaning before he even touched you. Once he did he shook, closed his eyes, gently rested a hand on either thigh and pulled them in. You could see the way your softness molded around him, pressing into his cheeks, securing him and steadying him as he settled in where he most wanted to be. It was where he could be the most service to you, and where you could be the most comfort to him. The opposite of alone, of watching, of wanting. The opposite of hard. The opposite of him, and he made it clear that he would never be able to get enough.

Hi all!

Thought I'd give you a little update.

Currently trying to take a little writing break, at least from one shots and longer fic. I'll probably keep on keeping on with my shorter pieces, but wanna give my brain time to play with some new ideas. Also real life is a thing at the moment (rude).

That being said, I am absolutely gearing up for Kinktober. I've been wanting to do one for, like, ten years, so I'm pretty psyched to be in a position to do so! I'll be accepting requests through August 31. As of right now, the following dates are taken: 4, 6, 9, 14, 15, 22, 25, 30. UGGGGHHHHHHHH a confident Shane is so HOT oh my godddd. I know his dirty talk game is actually INSANE once he gets comfy and it just spurs him on knowing you like it so much. Such a vicious and sexy cycle. He is ALL up in your ear blabbing and huffing about how good you feel. I just know he has a huge praise kink both giving and receiving. He loves to tell you how good you feel/are (the amount of times you hear “good girl” a night is 🥴) but he LOSES it when you give it back to him just as intensely

I love this as a contrast to how withdrawn he is at the beginning. Like it’s not his natural state to be so quiet, and it’s a lot of work to tear down those walls. And they don’t stay torn down, but when you can get him in that state… GOD
