So the tiktok ban lasted less than 24 hours and when Americans entered the app, they were met with this message:

Donald Trump is not president until January 20th, 2025.

I don’t want to see comments saying “Trump saved tiktok!” No he did not. This is clearly propaganda.

This man is not your friend, he did not save tiktok, he is a convicted felon who is now going to be the president of the United States.

And to anyone who isn’t aware, felons CAN’T vote in elections. But a rich racist felon won the presidency.

So instead of giving him credit for undoing the things he set in motion -- which also happens to go against a literal signed into law law and the actual Supreme Court ruling -- let's pay attention to what he's trying to distract us from.

the whole tiktok situation is EXACTLY why media literacy and education on propaganda is so important. the notifications about tiktok going down and then coming back use VERY propagandistic language, and with a literal fascist coming into power in the us tomorrow we need to be even more critical of the information we’re consuming and stay on the lookout for political stunts like this
