Decided to do a watercolor rendition of the remarcable painting from the show that we don't see enough of (hopefully I don't get banned for nudity or something?). I'll probably cut the white borders at some point, or at least trim them 👀

I would love to, but I tried prints in the past and they still don't look anything near as good as the original, so until I figure out how to do it properly I wouldn't feel right selling them.

If anyone has any tips on how to scan and print traditional art properly let me know!

I finally had some free time due to ✨carnival✨ and deployed the Miss Fisher visualization site that I had only posted screenshots of so you guys can play around with them. I really enjoy seeing them in motion and I hope that you do too! 😊

Some tips of how to use the site:

On the left, select the category of visualizations that you would like to see (the home page is pretty useless as of now hehe)

The legend of each visualization also serves as a filter, so if you click on the box that shows the color of each item you can deselect it from the visualization so that it's easier to see other information inside the graph.

Please open on desktop for a better experience!

If we take a look at the lyrics from the song that plays at the end of the movie (All of You, by Greg J. Walker) the theory that there are some time skipped between the series and the movie it's more of a fact than a theory:

[HE] You gave me a glimpse of your love before A few months later, a little bit more So now I want all of you

In this part, the 'glimpse of your love' seems to refer to the last episode of the show. There is a clear distinction between 'a few months later' and 'now', so they are clearly referencing 3 different occasions where they have been romantically together.

[SHE] You gave me a taste in old Bengal

[HE] In Singapore there was no love at all

[SHE] In London it looked like our last stand

[BOTH] But the desert was our promised land

Here they seem to clearly state that they have been together in Bengal but something happened in Singapore that drove them apart. And then we see in the movie what happens in London and the scene at the desert.
