I love when ppl like don't ignore the fact that Messmer commited a genocide against the Hornsent. I think it is a rlly important factor of his character that he's willing to go through with such terrible actions for the sake of his mother and the Golden Order. It emphasizes the flawed nature of the Greater Will and its following, as that's a huge part of the game. I rlly like staring at this as well. I see some people kinda defending messmer and minimizing the suffering of the Hornsent, but I like how this drawing sort of helps you empathize with the hornsent through their postures and expressions. Messmer's own expression and the conecentric-ish white lines around him definitley illustrate him as a sort of divine/holy figure, and highlight how he, as seen through the eyes Marika and his following, is doing a just thing when in reality he is commiting horrible act. The impaling of the fetus is also a nice touch, as his crusade upon the Land of Shadow is done in an attempt to toally annhilate the Hornsent. I don't rlly have anything that deep to say abt this but it is musem worthy, imo. Elden Ring art musem.

From what I've read it kinda just seems liks elden ring but overwatch. You can like it fine I just think a new and original game with more effort put into it would be nice (or even a new DLC) , bc I feel like this is just trying to coast off of Elden Ring's success
