you would almost think that israel has stopped killing palestinians but in the past twenty-four hours i have seen some of the most gruesome images of dead and beheaded human beings in my life, once again, in july of 2024.

israel is banking on nine months of genocide pacifying global outrage, the slow and steady extermination becoming more palatable. however, nine months in this also incriminates them absolutely.

to be committing such heinous crimes nine months in, with a genocide trial, ICC warrants pending, the eyes of the world on them shows that israel is not a state with any system of accountability, nor are its citizens or its supporters capable of mounting a real opposition to its genocidal mandate of palestinians. nine months of unstoppable and unceasing war crimes, and nine months of israel apologists refusing to give an inch as they continue to take lives. nine months of proving that they were never trying to end hamas, nor were they ever capable of it, but they seek nothing except the annihilation of palestinians and the annexation of their lands. nine months of settler colonialism in action.

nine months of palestinians being proven, beyond a doubt, completely right in their assessment of israel. a state that is beyond redemption, a state that is not a partner for peace, a state that has never stopped reproducing the violence of its foundation since the day it was founded.

Hey queen. You seem v knowledgeable about pro-Palestinian charities. Would you mind making a post or giving some info on which ones are really effective and honest abt their work? I've been hearing some problematic things about UNRWA, and Save the Children seems to be doing very little (as far as I am informed). I donate to PCRF and MAP, but don't know any other, smaller orgs that may also need more awareness? Thanks ♥

hello, thanks for sending this in. so i've been trying to find smaller orgs for palestine that are specifically for helping gaza, but the issue is not much aid is being let in. PCRF is a really good org in my opinion, I'd always donate to them regardless.

There's also the Palestine Museum, which does really great cultural preservation work.

Palestine Legal is a legal aid group that helps palestinian and palestinian advocacy facing legal challenges.

Palestine Action is a direct action group that helps do disruptive protests.

Samidoun helps palestinian prisioners around the world and keeps and eye on them.

Within Our Lifetime is an NYC based palestinian led organization.

Palestinian Youth Movement is a favorite for Turtle Island led Palestinian resistance.

Palestine Feminist Collective is a Turtle Island feminist movement that works to spread culture and information.

Good Shephard Collective seems to be doing good work in Bethlehem as well.

I would mostly look for mutual aid groups for people from Gaza if you want to donate to them. Aya Ghanamah retweets mutual aid groups a lot.

I might share more groups in a second reblog after I hear back on best ways to help them.

Along side her I placed the Oikos Theoi [Household Gods]. On the right: Zeus Ktesios (jar), Zeus Herkeios, Hera Oikos. On the left: Hekate, Apollo Argyieus, Hermes.

I'm only able to preform the low spoon version of this festival but still wanted to set this up. I hope I can complete the other half tomorrow. I'll use this for the jar candle bit I mention in the low spoon version.

I only had to get out 2 small boxes & Hestia's idol to set all this up.... except her candle I had no idea where her candle was so looking for that took up most energy. I had a feeling she really wouldn't like any candle except for hers.

I'm glad I set this up. My last drop of energy of 2023 went to the Theoi 🤍🔥

Absolutely, at the end of the day obvi always do research on the deities you're interested to work with and their religion but if your research says that is okay and other people that you know you can trust say it's okay then it is okay!

If I'm not mistaken even in the Bible there's mention of people who worshipped multiple gods.

Religion is something that has to fit you and make you feel better, not worse, if you're not disrespecting anyone or anything then it's okay, inform yourself and then create your own understanding of your religion.

I feel like a lot of the questions in pagan spaces along the lines of "will this god be mad at me if I work with this other god/pantheon/etc." are usually asked because someone's coming from Christianity and still has some fears and anxieties left over from that.

You don't have to worry about deities getting mad if you work with other deities/pantheons in polytheism, by the way. Polytheism literally means worshipping multiple gods. It's not an issue.
