Get up cock-suckers and pussy lovers it's time to vote.
A small comprehensive resource guide on voting in the 2025 Australian election on 3rd May.
Be an informed voter! Here are some websites to help with your decision making.
https://www.buildaballot.org.au/
This is Build A Ballot where you can well, build a ballot 3 weeks before the election, it recommends a 3 step process to informed voting. I recommend visiting their "election 101" section first as it gives a short easy to understand guide to understanding the election process. Articles in this section include:
• Can Voters in Safe Seats Influence Election Outcomes?
• Is My Vote Worth It? Debunking Myths About Voting in Australia
• Are we voting for the Prime Minister?
• When is the Next Australian Federal Election?
• Do I Have to Vote in the Federal Election?
• Do Politicians Have to Keep Their Election Promises?
• What is a Minority Government?
• What is a Majority Government?
• Minor Parties and Independents
• Preferential Voting
• How to Vote in Australian Elections: A Step-by-Step Guide
• Australia's Political System
• The Major Parties
Their research hub let's you discover the candidates in your local area with official party websites attached. It also includes a Ballot Breakdown spreadsheet to write down your preferences for the House of Representatives, Senate (above the line) a.k.a specific parties for the Senate. Senate (below the line) a.k.a individual candidates for the Senate.
For researching candidates to make sure they're policies match with what you care about check their about sections on their parties website and social media. If your candidate has been elected before give They Vote for You a look. They Vote for You give you policies that the candidate has directly voted on split into sections of consistently for, almost always for, generally for, a mixture of for and against, generally against, almost always against, consistently against and can't say anything concrete about how they voted on. Clicking on these policies also give you an overview of the exact bills and motions attached to the policy so you can see how exactly our government are inacting these polices.
https://theyvoteforyou.org.au/
A helpful google doc is humanity_bites' Federal Voting Help spreadsheet of 5 tabs explaining policy breakdowns, federal parties voting history, independents voting history, enrolling to vote and how to vote.
https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/u/0/d/1zNwxLGPTm4MZ-HFOG7M-m0K46OopmjcU/htmlview
Another site is Federal Australian Election Matcher, this has a section of issues you can tick to get a Match Percentage for candidates that matches with your issues. It also includes a section that shows what the ballats look like.
https://www.votehelp.site/
And remember this is not the US or UK we have preferential voting meaning EVERY VOTE MATTERS not just your first preference!
A little note for leftists voters, since the two major parties are both terrible, voting for minor parties and independents are the way to go. Put labour and liberal at the bottom of your list, show them that we're tired of their ignoring of issues we are about and refusal to put the people over corporations!

I really enjoy the way the archetypes of characters in inky mystery are expanded. A lot of characters end up fiting into multiple archetypes and the way they contrast and compliment each other, it's so interesting. I'm just gonna put some quick rants about the questers here.
Bendy, the main character, the chosen one, the big brother. I love how being an older brother shapes his character especially early on in the series. While there are quite a handful of YA main characters that are older siblings, I feel like with Bendy it's just organically baked into his character which as an older sibling myself really resonate with.
Boris, the second lead, the young boy, the naive child, the younger brother. I love Boris' character development so much. Similar to Bendy I think Tap captures their ages really well, Boris very much acts like a 14 year old. He often feels unheard by the adults around him and doesn't truly grasp the scale of why he has the restrictions he does as a child until it's too late essentially. In the beginning he is quite naive but he's so surprisingly one of the more observant characters so he's very much not stupid.
Cuphead, the antagonist, the tough guy that's really a softie inside, the older brother. Omg seeing how different and similar Bendy and Cuphead are under the same archetype as the protective and skeptical older brother as well as Boris and Mugman with the younger brother archetype is so fun. He's very provoking but also very calm under pressure while still being quite a hot-headed character. Despite closing himself off from people he is an extremely emotional and sensitive character.
Mugman, the reluctant antagonist, the bubbly joe, the younger brother. I love that we are seeing more of actual Mugman and not the very bubbly, silly persona he often puts on. It's so interesting to see his strong sense of justice clash with what he has needed to do throughout his life.
Felix, the fearless adventurer, the fatherly guide, the deadly warrior. Felix is my favourite character so I have the most to say about him, also he's a very interesting character to me due to his contrasting personality traits that clash giving him a lot of internal conflict. We are first introduced to Felix has the adventurer but parts his personality is very much not what you expect when tying him to this archetype. He very much embodies the adventurer archetype with his boyish peter pan like wonder on the world, very motivated and pretty approachable and friendly but there are also traits that are very much not part of this archetype. He's very soft, he can have a very gentle approach to people, he is often seen as a fatherly figure to the younger people around him like Bendy and Holly being the biggest example and we even see this care extended to the cupbros mostly Pre-Labyrinth. He's also surprisingly prown to fleeing emotional situations that make him uncomfortable.

Some of my Inky Mystery Headcanons! (A lot of future ones)
• Oswald has a thing for black cats that he will never admit. Everyone in the circus crew knows, Donald is the only one that makes snarky comments about it though.
• Felix only realised his queerness in his early 30s and is now plagued with recognising the feelings he had for men in the past that he brushed off at the time as jealousy or just really really wanted to be friends. Oswald on the other hand just kinda knew from the beginning, it wasn't really talked about but his siblings and friends all knew early on that he swings both ways. I think they both experimented with guys before in their 20s. Oswald under the guise of a "joke", figuring out what guys he did and didn't like. Felix still honestly believing he was only into woman had a couple drunken flings with men in university, he was the one of the "Alcohol-Induced Bisexuality" guys.
• Felix sees Holly as a niece to him. Holly has always seen Felix as a fatherly figure but as soon as someone mistaken them for an uncle and niece everything clicked for her and she began treating Felix completely like an uncle. Even slipping up on it and calling him uncle Felix on accident.
• Holly loves bothering Felix about meaningless drama and gossip and will consider her mission a success if she can get a genuine uncontrolled reaction out of him, like a face of outrage or disgust or laughing at an inappropriate or mean joke.
• Bendy brings out a completely different side of Holly in school. While Holly has always been quiet and a model student, with Bendy she will get in trouble for laughing or talking too much in classes she has with him. It freaks out her old classmates.
• Bendy and Holly become really close friends over their years at uni together and consider each other best friends. They are insufferable and can often be seen together or in their little trio or quad with Cuphead and Alice.
• Cuphead will bring both Bendy and Holly coffee and sweets on their lunch times or study breaks as an excuse to bug and spend time with them. No one knows how he got in. He knows Holly's and Bendy's uni schedules to a t it's actually concerning.
• Holly completes her major at the top of her class with many outstanding awards for her contribution to the understanding of Micco culture.
• Bendy majors in mechanical engineering and minors in anthropology mostly due to Felix and Holly. He wishes he had the anthropology class before he had to study demon history as it would of made it so much easier to follow. Holly gets really excited when she finds out she has like one class with Bendy. He discovers he likes to figure out the way things work, that being either mechanics or people.
• Out of the circus crew Goofy is actually the best at comforting Oswald about his late wife and with the struggle of being a single father in general.
• Both Oswald and Felix being used to being romantic gentlemen to their girlfriends will often laugh about doing the same thing such as both bringing each other roses at the same time or offering to open doors or pull up chairs for each other. It takes them awhile to figure out what's comfortable for each other without the heteronormative expectations of what they should be doing for each other.
• That post about Anzu finding Felix attractive was just too good to not make some headcanons about. Anzu lightly flirts with Felix to get a rise out of Bendy. Felix is clueless and thinks he is using flattery to use him to do something for him later down the line. Felix politely takes the compliments but doesn't engage further than that. Bendy HATES this and rants to Holly about it. Holly also hates it and they both keep a close eye on Anzu when he's around Felix.
• Felix is very shy about his and Oswald's relationship (dating) at first but becomes the one to fluster Oswald more often further into their relationship. He has the rabbit completely wrapped around his finger. Dominant Felix! I will die on this hill. Hear me out PLEASE. WE ALL SAW THE WAY HE TEASED OSWALD IN THAT SCENE IN OSWALD'S BEDROOM.
• On that note, Felix is a MASSIVE tease even when they are alone. A quick flick under Oswald's chin with his tail. A steamy makeout session just for Felix to go be busy with a task. A raunchy joke or comment said in public that only Oswald can hear. This drives Oswald NUTS since he really doesn't do all that much romantic teasing, he loves attention and is not patient about getting it.
• Pre-Labyrinth Felix used to brew extra of whatever tea or coffee he was making for Cuphead and Mugman to put in their heads. Felix would always add some type of crema or sugar to Cuphead's brew, 1) because he found out Cup injoys sweet things and 2) in hopes of "sweetening" up his personality (this was unsuccessful). Holly began to create a list of how different beverages affected the cupbros when she noticed what Felix was doing. It also gave the cupbros a scene of Felix' mood that mourning, the same double shot expresso for 3 days in a row? Felix was stress researching. Cuphead would never admit how upset he was when Felix stopped doing this. Both Dishes barely change out their drinks Post-Labyrinth.
• Despite Felix' importance on accommodating Boris' wolf requirements, as an adult he ended up with cat mannerisms. It wasn't just the fact that Felix raised him but also Bendy having cat-like traits already just for them to be extremely amped up since meeting Felix. People think Boris is weird for his cat mannerisms and he was a little embarrassed of them at first but just sees them as a connection to his family as an adult.
• Alice and Bendy had kids pretty quickly once they settled down. Watching Bendy with Oswald's kids gave Alice baby fever while dating, to the point she would sometimes have to remove herself from the scene. Being angel-demon hybrids some of their children with shape-shifting abilities took on physical traits of Boris and Felix. This was a pleasant surprise to all of them, Bendy just about cried when he found out, Alice was so happy they could have physical traits from both sides of their families. Now people that know genuinely that Bendy, Boris and Felix are biologically related. The three have fun with these claims.
• Blending Oswald and Felix' families together turned out to be easier than either of them thought. Felix was extremely nervous at first with Oswald's kids but most of them handled Felix' more parental role very positively. It wasn't an overnight thing, Oswald and Felix had a lot of conversations about subtle changes as not to overwhelm them. The children calling Felix their second mum stopped pretty quickly after Felix started to take on an actual parental role, opting instead to refer to him as just Felix or going by Bendy and Boris' system of pops - Oswald, dad - Felix. Surprisingly Bendy was the first to start thinking of Oswald as a second dad figure, even before Felix and Oswald were official. Boris was confused on Oswald and Felix' relationship before he learned that gay people exist, after that he was thrilled to have Oswald as a step-father. Mickey was arguably the most excited when he's told about Felix and Oswald's relationship, he goes all out and has an entire "welcome to the family" party for Felix, Bendy and Boris. Both Oswald and Felix are deeply embarrassed by this while Bendy, Boris and the bunny kids are having the time of their lives.
• Mickey may be a sweetheart but he's still a little brother so as payback for Minnie, Mickey teases Oswald like crazy for his crush on Felix. He even makes comments to Felix about how he would be an amazing brother in law when Felix helps out around the circus. This leads Oswald to often shoo Mickey away whenever Felix is over. Donald finds all this hilarious and calls out how childish the two are being with it.

SO REAL, and yeah the fandom is what truly keeps the love and hype for this rabbit going. What's the bet for Oswald's 100th if it's not the release of the hybrid series it will be fucking nothing or a goddamn commercial. I'm worried for Mickey's 100th and he's Disney's golden child (STOP COMMERCIALISING MY BOY, GIVE HIM A FEATURE LENGTH ANIMATION FILM AGAIN PLEASE). The masterpiece that is Roger Rabbit can hardly be attested to Disney itself, you know what can though? The Chip n' Dale Rescue Rangers film, god that film was awful. I watched it with my friends in year 11 or 12 and we were all like 'what the actual fuck is this' (my friends only watched it for the ugly sonic scenes cause we're all sonic fans and it was the only part of the movie that we got joy out of). I mean you put all these concepts in the film just for none of them to be really fleshed out all that much. I get it's a film but the fact that it is based off the real original voice actor for Peter Pan that genuinely struggled and turn his story into a plot for the villain is so deeply distasteful and disgusting.
On a lighter note I don't know when I'll be able to get around to it cause finding a job in this economy has been kicking my ass but I'm hoping to do a little comic series of just Oswald and Ortensia meeting Mickey Mouse & Friends characters as well as what I have named the Wasteland group (Oswald, Ortensia, Clarabelle and Hoarce) shenanigans.
I've been trying to set up more realistic expectations for myself for the new Oswald the Lucky Rabbit hybrid animation live-action series and honestly, they are not all that positive with the way Disney is going with its shitty live action remakes and setting it's animated projects to fail from the get-go. The fact that it's a live action hybrid pisses me off from the start, I'm still salty about that Oswald animation series that was canned possibly for this. Disney has such an inability since the live action remake era we're in to reach a target audience.
I apologise for the negativity around this new announcement but my hopes are just not high especially with the characterisation of Oswald in recent Disney media. I was so excited for him to be in Dreamlight and Once Upon a Studio just to be disappointed that Disney has been boiling him down to just a vintage character. THAT'S BEEN HIS ENTIRE THING LATELY AND I'M SICK OF IT. I'm not even going to get started on what they've done to his personality. HE WAS KNOWN FOR HIS PERSONALITY EVEN IN HIS DEBUT FOR A REASON.
He doesn't even get a modern redesign like Mickey which okay fine, whatever we can work with that but if they really want to bring Oswald back into the public eye he should be actively put into the Mickey Mouse & Friends universe. He doesn't even have to be part the sensational six, just being Mickey's older brother that's got a bit of an attitude but a heart of gold has an ocean of possibilities in both shows and comics. Bring back Horace, make them a competitive duo, parallel to Mickey and Donald. Make a little group of Oswald, Horace, Clarabelle and Ortensia, there's already an establishment of their dynamics with the Wasteland comics and then that gives way for Ortensia to interact with Minnie and Daisy through Clarabelle (being her friend) and Mickey (being her brother-in-law). Bunny children, enough said. So. Many. Shenanigans, you could write that feel fun and organic. You literally have creatives that have expressed a love for Oswald's character in your company, PUT HIM IN KINGDOM HEARTS YOU COWARDS. Why do you think Epic Mickey did so well, why is it the main version people associate Oswald with? Because the people who worked on CARED. They had fun with it. WHY CAN'T DISNEY EXECUTS ASK THEMSELVES QUESTIONS THAT ACTUALLY MATTER TO THE ENJOYMENT OF THEIR AUDIENCE!?
This is why Disney is going under, if you make good things the money will roll in even if it takes awhile and it will become beloved IP. You need to be willing to have things flop, Hunchback of Notre Dame and Treasure Planet didn't sell like Disney wanted it to due to their own shitty marketing of the films but are beloved cult classics today with people willing to see revivals. In conclusion I don't have high hopes for Disney being able to even attempt at making Mickey Mouse & Friends and Oswald the Lucky Rabbit fans content and satisfied. At this point just watch the Oswald shorts and play Epic Mickey then go to Tumblr and Ao3, you won't be missing out on anything.

We know with Oswald it's more of a personality + looks thing and we actually get more of Oswald comparing the two by similar character traits and expressions, when it comes to looks it's literally just 'oh he looks like her' no specifics. I know characters have said he looks exactly like her but I'm guessing he just overall looks similar otherwise we'd see more specifics, eye and face shape, nose and that kind of stuff mentioned. Also Felix doesn't see a resemblance between himself and Ortensia which is pretty telling cause idk if you've ever met someone that is just you but a different gender, it can be very uncanny valley.
Tumblr media
We don't have much description on Nora then her clearly being Felix' sister though I'm guessing they have different facial features. I'm the oldest of 3, it is so clear that we are all siblings, the youngest and I have basically the same face and we got a lot of genes from our dad's side of the family. My middle sibling is the one that got a lot more of our mum's genes, they have a lot more oval and intense features compared to mine and the youngest round and soft ones. Nora also has lighter fur than Felix and is probably a grey or brown texudo compared to Felix' black fur and doesn't share Ortensia's character traits.
I know it's literally in the text but I really don't see Felix and Ortensia looking that similar even when artists give Ortensia Felix' cheek fluff thing.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Looking at their original designs and even in Rouge's style they just never looked like identical twins to me, just like they could be related like siblings or cousins. She clearly looks like a short-hair while Felix looks like he would be classified as a medium-hair. Felix' eyes are large and round while Ortensia's very vertically oval, Felix' nose is smaller and more oval while Ortensia's is larger and very round. OMG THEIR FACIAL FEATURES ARE INVERTED. That's so cool, anyway back to what I was saying. They do have the same face shape and their ears are very similar though I'm not sure if Ortensia has a long tail or not in inky mystery, most of the official Disney content features Ortensia without a tail implying at least to me she's a bobtail. Don't know why Disney tends to forget about her tail but never Oswald's.
Wouldn’t Nora look more like Ortensia than Felix since she’s a woman and I assume she looks like Felix since they’re siblings..? Oswald reacted completely normal when he saw her, is that another sign that he’s falling for Felix more physically or does Nora just physically not look as close to Ortensia as Felix does?

I've been thinking about this as well, I love thinking about character dynamics that we haven't seen fleshed out in the story. When the ship Maxley got really popular on tik tok I got pretty into Goofy related media and I came up with ideas on how Max would be involved more in the story in my au because he's such a fun character. So, basically when Holly starts hanging with the circus crew (Inky Extras - The Cog/Brush arc I think) when she helps Roxanne with getting a journalist job/internship due to her connections with Xedo, they actually start talking and become friends, same with Max. Holly gets introduced to Stacey through Roxanne and they become a little trio, she also meets PJ and Bobby through Max but I don't think she'd click as much with them. Therefore through both Holly's and the circus Bendy also becomes friends with Max and his little group. And yeah I think he would make a lot more of an effort when Goofy dies due to his guilt.
I'm a bit disappointed we didn't get more time with Goofy and Oswald before Goofy was killed off. I feel like he would of been great support for Oswald since he's wife also died when Max was young or at least that's the consensus. I always headcanoned that Max would offer to babysit the kids every now and again since Ortensia died and that's helped the kids with adjusting to her not being with them anymore. I deeply love "uncle" Oswald and Max content (it is non-existent but I will make it exist).
Since Max has no dad now, would he be more involved in in the quest? Not to the degree of actually being with the questers ; but maybe around the circus crew more.
I would like to think he would become friends with Bendy and Oswald. Bendy due to them being similar in age and feeling guilty; feeling like he could’ve done more. The only thing he could think of his being there for Max as a friend that others haven’t done for him.
Oswald due to understanding how it feels to lose someone to the illness. He has known Max for years , he doesn’t want someone so young to go down the path he’s gone down for the past year. He wants to guide him and be there as a father figure for Max ; although he knows he could never replace Goofy.
Max would confide in them in these troubling times and would want to help in the quest in every way he can. He wants to avenge his father. He doesn’t want others to go through what he went through. He wants to help.

Finally drew Felix, I haven't drawn him in literal years. I think I last drew him in like 2021 omg. The fact that he's my favourite but I never draw him should be a crime.
This is just a little sketch I did traditionally and then just airbrushed some colour digitally to play around with. I think I like #4 the most, I just really like the idea of Felix having heterochromia. He looks so nice with all three colour options I see why artists have a hard time picking a consistent eye colour for him. What is people's options on their preferred Felix colourings?
I've always wondered why animals with predominantly black tuxedo coats are just considered black in inky mystery and other toonverse stuff. I understand from an animation perspective due to the lack of colour but wonder why that is in fan content. What is considered a tuxedo coat vs a black coat, where is the line drawn at? I'm guessing it's when just the face is white and all the rest of the fur is black.

Is anyone else like super skeptical of the ink illness being knowledge born? Like I'm surprised more characters weren't sceptical about it, I feel like Elizabeth is straight up lying. Sure Elizabeth is a seer but she has not shown trustworthy qualities in face of how she handles the illness. Like idk if I'm reading this wrong but isn't it implied that Elizabeth and her team are willing to KILL the people that knew about the illness. Also with that why is the list of angels so long? How does it keep popping up in the Upper if Elizabeth has meticulously tried to erase knowledge of the illness in the Upper. AND not ONLY that but a list that spans over such a wide period of time. Alice can obviously feel emotions but she's not Hannah or David, she can't detect lies. And of course she wants to trust the grandmama who she has loved and respected for her whole life. Maybe I'm just not seeing the evidence presented but if that is the case then WHY did characters like Bendy and Ortensia still get it. We LITERALLY see Bendy have symptoms of the ink illness before he even met Wilson! WHY DOES BENDY FEEL GUILTY WHEN HE KNOWS HE GOT THE ILLNESS BEFORE HE KNEW ANYTHING ABOUT IT! And Ortensia didn't even know WHY she started randomly melting into ink. I don't think any of Dr. Oddswell's older patients (Steven, Granny, Jerry) came across any knowledge of ink illness before they got it. Also if it was truely knowledge born then EVERYONE we know would have it. But we know that you're either vulnerable to the sickness or your not. I don't think the math is mathing.
If anyone has any evidence for the illness being knowledge born please tell me cause I feel like I'm going insane for how sceptical I am of this piece of information. But until further evidence comes to light I think Elizabeth is untrustworthy and a lier. I feel like she's up to something, she HAS to be.

I'm actually living for the small "Anzu has a crush on Felix" content. I don't ship them, I have shipped Osix since I was 12 and I will die by that ship but it's just so funny. I don't know if there will end up being any actual merit to this headcanon in IM but like it the scenes with Anzu meeting Felix is so idk how to explain it other than gay tension on Anzu's part. Like Anzu is a very cunning man sure but like all that flattery for what? He did not need to do all that. Anyway I love one-sided Anzu x Felix (Anlix? Felzu?) and it's potential for jealous Oswald and an absolutely disgusted Holly and Bendy. I really hope that this will be a canon thing but I'm not holding my breath for that since Felix and Anzu have only met once.
I like to think Holly would be a little instigator of Oswald's jealously and Oswald himself is in denial of his own jealousy. Bendy will pick Oswald being his step dad over Anzu in a heartbeat. I think he'd be suspicious of Anzu and cling to Felix whenever Anzu tries to talk to him. I think it's even funnier if Felix is clueless about Anzu's affections and thinks he just wants to use him for something but is curious so will humour him just a little bit.

⚠️ Minor Chapter 361 Spoilers ⚠️
I need a map of the timeline of inky mystery cause the newest chapter has me so confused. I thought we were in May not April. I could have sworn Leila's letter to Boris was March. Idk if it's just me but I swear I'm thrown off the timeline everytime it's mentioned how much time has actually passed :').

Another little art dump this time with a lot more recent art (2023-2024).
Tumblr media
This one is kinda miscellaneous when compared to the other ones. It was my first try at alcohol markers. The hair kinda sucks but I am proud of how the skin turned out. My friends and I were doing a 4 colour challenge picked at random so that's why the colours are not very complementary.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
These ones are to do with with inky mystery, I've been trying to figure out my art style as well as how I want to draw these characters. The last three is some early concepts for a inky mystery au comic I'll be working on in January. I'm really excited to work on it I've had the ideas for this au floating around for like a year. It's going to be digitally drawn, I'm just better at traditional so that's why all these drawings are traditional. I don't have a name for this au yet but yeah more concept stuff for it will be coming soon.

I've been mulling over the Labyrinth arc specifically the questers decision to allow Boris to come, with it being brought up again with Felix trying to adopt Boris. Little disclaimer I have not reread the Labyrinth arc so I will probably miss out on a couple details here.
A question that I really been trying to wrack my brain around is "what could they have done for Boris". I remember when the labyrinth arc was happening I was so mad at the questers for the way that they were treating Boris. Especially as a teenager myself (14-15 at the time so literally the same age as Boris). But now that I think about it I really do want to know what the questers could have done because I feel like no matter that choice Boris would have gone anyway.
At this point Boris had recently run away when he was told that he could not be apart of saving his brother, right. So he has already demonstrated that he can and will put himself and others in danger to be with Bendy. I know some people said that he should have stayed back with the circus crew and I believe the circus crew would have definitely tried their best but ultimately we have to remember that he's a street kid, he knows how to get around adults, I don't think that they could have truly stopped him from going if he wanted to. Again he has already demonstrated that he will pick bendy over everyone else no matter how close you are to him. To Boris it's truly always been him and Bendy against the world, he's already burnt bridges with the relationships he built up. He now has a rocky relationship with the adult figures that he trusted, he thinks they should despise him.
Now I want to make clear that I am absolutely not excusing the clear adultification that a lot of the characters do to Boris specifically in this arc. It still really pisses me off, he is an emotional 14 year old boy of course he did the terrible things that he did, his frontal lobe isn't developed he can't think his actions through as well as the adults around him can. Specifically looking at you Michael Bradley I know your traumatised but wtf that is a child. Kinda excluding Cuphead though, he was a real one with how he acted with this.
Coming back to Felix here. I think Felix should have really honed in on the decision that they made by bringing Boris along. Felix should have sat Boris down and really had a talk to him with how dangerous it was going to be. Obviously we know that the questers did not expect how truly dangerous it would be but Felix has already done extremely dangerous stuff before so I think he definitely could have better prepared Boris for what they were going into. With what I mentioned in the paragraph above though I think I can really see why Felix made the decision he did. He already told Boris no and it ended with him being severely hurt emotionally and being cursed physically. And we can see in Felix' POV how deeply that scared Felix. Although I really do wish that he sat Boris down and truly told him how he felt about Boris running away and how he only wants to protect Boris. Really try to make him see how much he cares for him and try and build up that trust again.
Honestly so much of this stuff that happens really they could have been resolved if these idiots would just talk to each other, the miscommunication in this series istg :').
Ultimately I don't think that there was a "right" or "correct" choice that would have ended in Boris being safe from the record. There were definitely things that characters could have handled a lot better but truly none of them could have been prepared for how messed up the Labyrinth really turned out to be. Also could the questers have even gotten the record without Boris? I feel like Boris was needed for the record I truly don't know how they would have gotten the record otherwise with how hard it was for Boris to get it.
I really wish I wrote down my opinions and feelings at the time to how I feel about the arc now that I'm an adult, because of how close in age to Boris I was so I could truly relate to some of the feelings he was feeling with the adults around them. And now as an adult I can see more why the adults around him made the decisions they made.

⚠️ Spoilers for chapter 359 ⚠️
I honestly didn't expect I'd be posting as many chapter rants but here we are. I really need to draw these guys again soon. Anyway onto the chapter rant.
I'm really liking Fanny's character this arc, I honestly didn't care much for her character at first. I always liked that she isn't a perfect victim, we really need more of those in media (cause you know the 'perfect victim' doesn't actually exist). I'm happy with how much of her we've gotten to see. She really wants to change and I hope we see her succeed in that. I genuinely hope that we can get a Oswald and Fanny friendship in the future.
I love the variety there is in inky mystery of how characters react to things. I think Felix' character is so interesting, he has contrasting and conflicting character traits that are fun to see pull and tug at each other. I like the fact that when Felix is in emotional distress he tends to run away. It's such a realistic reaction and it's a reaction that you don't really expect of a character like Felix on a surface level. I would love to do a character analysis on him one day.
Oswald you are truly pure of heart and dumb of ass. I love this man but boy does he have me in the trenches defending his actions. He is so impulsive even in his 30s. I can't imagine how much of a handful Oswald was in his youth if this is him supposedly mellowed.
I love how Bendy and Cuphead were just like 'so you two are together?' It was hilarious to me but also it shows how close Oswald and Felix have become. Obviously we know that Felix cannot hide his feelings for Oswald at all but a relationship goes both ways so there's obviously been a lot of development between them. We finally have Oswald blushing at Felix and having feelings for him blossoming. (Tap please make them kiss and my life is yours).
Bendy and Felix are so cute. I can't wait to have him and Boris live with Felix. I think we all deserve the fluff that will bring. Bendy's comment was so funny to me because yeah actually Oswald you are the lucky one. I don't know how he managed to pull a well-educated rich cat that is kind and is good with kids. Oswald did actually win the lottery with that one, Felix has his flaws obviously but my point still stands. I love how chill Bendy was about the possibility of Felix dating Oswald.
I also really want to see more Felix and Dr. Oddswell. He clearly cares about Felix and trusts his judgement on things.
The seeds have been planted for Felix really grasping how much people compare him to Ortensia which I am both scared and excited to see where that goes or if it's just a throw away line. I think it could make some interesting angst (that I will only appreciate if it there is an Osix bounce back if it goes that way). Cuphead is confirmed bisexual to the surprise of no one. That man has never given 'straight' in his life.

⚠️ Spoilers for Chapter 357 ⚠️
Kinda... Not talking about the actual chapter cause I can't even AHHHH but an event that happened is mentioned so I'm going to put that little spoiler warning
This may just be wishful thinking but I hope now that Felix is out we get to see other characters exploring queerness a little bit. BECAUSE OBVIOUSLY FELIX WILL BE WELCOMED WITH OPEN ARMS AND A VERY HEARTFELT WE STILL LOVE YOU FELIX. Obviously this is fiction but like realistically queer people tend to gravitate towards each other. Like the domino effect is so real, I came out as bi (don't identify as bi anymore) in like year 7 and now my entire childhood friend group of 4 are all queer. I wasn't the one to create the domino effect in my high school friend group cause our group kept on getting mashed together with others throughout the years untill we have everyone we have now. Which is 3 queer people, 2 token straights and 1 unlabelled. It is the 1920-30s so I don't expect it to be explicit but like a couple lines here and there would be cool.
Genuinely a bit scared to see how the characters will react. I think most of them will be chill with it but I will honestly be upset if they are not. Granny is literally in her like 80s I'm sure she's had a conversation with a queer person in her life before. Red is a nurse, you kinda have to or should be a caring and understanding person to be a nurse. I don't think Dr. Oddswell would care like at all, Felix is helping and he trusts this person who he's knew since Felix was in college (I think).
I did a pole recently on Jerry and homophobic gay man won so there's that, no one cares what Jerry thinks though. He is a little snitch though so he better not tell anyone because omfg. The Warners will obviously be chill, if we're lucky we could get reference to non-binary Wakko. Same with Mr. Toad and Dr. Scratchy. Albert seems like a kind old man I think he'll be chill. John honestly gives me gay vibes so. Cuphead is so bisexual coded, I'm so convinced this man had a gay lover in his past. I think Bendy would ask questions and then be chill with it. I think his reaction would be 'oh so like the lesbians in hell, I didn't know you could like the same gender, that's good to know'. I hope Holly is told, I want to see her reaction cause I genuinely don't really know how she would react specifically to Fanny being the one who outed Felix. I feel like she would give the house a very passionate speech on how great Felix is and how the fact that he likes men doesn't diminish all that he's done for the house. Also Holly is just a great ally, that one Holly's Journal chapter when she was figuring out queer people exist was like 'how to be a good ally 101'. I did not mean to make this as long as it is, I just talk a lot.

So I've been thinking about my sexuality and gender headcanons for the inky mystery cast and I'm stuck on Jerry. I could see him as an ignorant homophobic straight guy or a deeply closeted gay man. So what does everyone else think?
To clarify if the wording confuses you
1. Straight and homophobic
2. Closeted gay and supports gay people
3. Straight and supports gay people
4. Closeted gay but homophobic
4. Bisexual
Feel free to also talk about your decision and headcanons about our favourite asshole of a man, Jerry Verrmin.
