Part 1 - the beginning

I was nervous at first, but I knew I wanted to be your friend

Everyone liked you, so I got close to you

I got so close that I never thought I’d feel this way about you

You felt it to, but we were never meant to be

We had to hide our secret but terrified of getting caught

But turns out we knew what would happen in the end

Part 2 - “best friends”

Having fun with our friends like nothing

Fun and laughter or so it was

Touching hand to hand, sitting thigh to thigh, talking shoulder to shoulder

As if we knew each other for years

We certainly were the "best" of friends

Part 3 - the end?

No one would approve of us because we were so young

But I know what I felt and so did you

they ripped up apart and we were to never speak again
