Zooble's design in my TADC AU (Beyond the Circus Grounds)

A bit of backstory for them(they use they/them in this AU): They were originally a Gloink robot(robots created by "The Ring Master"(Caine) that are in service to protect anyone living in the circus grounds, as well as killing or capturing anyone outside it) who was fixed up by Jax after they spared his life and let him escape. The reason why Zooble had to be fixed is because the other Gloinks destroyed them after finding out they let Jax go.

Zooble has the ability to extend their limbs, use that turquoise oval thing on their chest as a removable throwable weapon (inspired by the disks from the TRON franchise), as well as the large mechanical crab claw to defend themself if anyone gets too close. They are very loyal to Jax and the others and is willing to sacrifice themself to protect any of them if necessary.

I didn't change too much of their design bc I felt like it fit the whole "made up of a bunch of random metal scraps and parts put together to make one robot" idea pretty well. also, they fall apart often/easily

(Side note: I know I was supposed to post a ref sheet for my Pomni design for the same AU, but I was already working on this, so I decided to post it first lol)

I haven't posted in a bit bc I've been struggling to figure out the designs for the characters in my TADC AU (Beyond the Circus Grounds), but I finally came up with this design for Pomni. I hope y'all like it bc it took me a while to decide what to make that's unique enough to be recognizable without straying too far away from the source material.

I'll be making a ref sheet for her like the ones I did for Jax and Ragatha soon, I just wanted to post this so people know I haven't given up on it lol

This is my design for tadc Ragatha for the AU I'm working on (it's called Beyond the Circus Grounds)

She's the chef of the group, known for making delicious meals and cooking up dangerous explosives.

While she doesn't need to eat food herself, she loves making it for others (in any normal situation, she'd be a bit jealous that other people get to enjoy food, but bc of how scarce it is nowadays, she's grateful she doesn't have to)

Her design is definitely more complex than Jax's, but I felt like all the details were necessary for her character (even though drawing her hair was a nightmare)

She pretty much has the same personality as she does in the original story, but she's more confident and assertive. Despite that, she's still deathly afraid of centipedes lol

this is my design of TADC Jax in an AU I'm currently developing. it's a post-apocalyptic/dystopian story bc I love making those lol

I think I'm going to call the AU "Beyond the Circus Grounds" bc it references where the story begins.

Also, this takes place in a non-digital world. The only thing similar to the digital aspect of the original tadc is the fact that the area called 'The Grounds' is closed off in a digital dome. It's there to protect it from outside threats.

idk when I'll be able to work on and post the other character's designs, but feel free to ask questions about the AU while you're waiting (if you're interested)

decided to revamp my oc Rowan from an old story I haven't worked on in a while. I plan on remaking it, redesigning most of the characters, and actually taking it seriously, but it's definitely going to take a while lmao

I changed the design of his shirt to be empty squares instead of the one on here so I wouldn't have to use an image of a checkered pattern and instead draw it myself

context for second drawing: I've headcanoned that Jax has a crush on Robin. However, Robin is completely oblivious to this and thinks the only reason why Jax doesn't pick on him as much is because he's basically always one step away from abstracting. Everyone else seems to be at least a little aware that Jax likes Robin, but because no one likes him, they find it funny when Jax's advances towards Robin go nowhere

This is my The Amazing Digital Circus oc, Robin! He's 21 and entered the digital circus before Pomni. He is able to float about 3 feet/ 91.44 cm above the ground. When he first arrived, he was able to fly higher, but when he used this ability to enter the void to try and escape, Caine took away his flying privileges lol
