"You're right. I'm just paranoid, I guess," Michael said, trying to regain his composure. It's just a damn elevator, he thought. Don't be such a pussy.

Geoff hummed, tapping his foot incessantly. The elevator they were in was old and slow and he hated it.
"Ugh, this stupid thing is slow as dicks, dude."

Michael looked quizzically at the girl. It had been so long since he had human contact, it was almost surreal. He had convinced himself he was the only one left at this point, destined to become one of them.
When he heard her speak he almost jumped back. "Uh, no, no. No trouble."

Zombie AU
It was kind of funny, K was the kind to sit around and binge-watch zombie tv shows, but never did she think she would be living one.
It had been a few months since the world had gone to shit, and it had been a while since she’d seen people, let alone someone she actually knew. Surviving on her own, being alone for so long, it hadn’t been easy for K at all, but hell, she’d done it. And it seemed that things were looking up, at least for now, when she found a house that was seemingly abandoned. It was only when she had started looking around that she heard footsteps from upstairs.
Someone else was in the house.

"I..I'm not sure. I don't think it's anxiety. I'm not scared of shit."
"I like your face man. Very attractive."
"Don’t test me, dick. But in case you weren’t kidding, thanks."

"Sure." Michael stood up and held out his hand to help Lindsay up.

Michael was busy browsing a bookcase full of Stephen King novels, none of which seemed appealing (considering the situation he was in), when he heard a small creak of the stairs.
Shit, he thought, I could've sworn I shut all the doors. Those corpses are too stupid to open one.
He took his crowbar off of the top of the bookcase and made his way towards the staircase, quietly peaking around the corner.
He spotted a figure walking up the staircase just as carefully as he had peaked around the corner. Even better, a girl.

Michael took a long, deep breath. "Yeah, man, you're right. We're gonna be fine." Michael repeated Geoff's words, as though it might help. It really didn't, thought. Truth was, Michael was very claustrophobic, but he tried hard not to let anyone know that the mighty Mogar was afraid of anything, let alone something as stupid as small spaces.

"Well then, we're on the same page. I'm a dick, and that's something you'll probably have to deal with for a long-ass time." Michael grinned widely, admiring the beauty that sat next to him.

Michael was someone you probably wouldn’t expect to get very far in an apocalypse. Before everything, he sat in his living room and played video games all day. But his short temper and anger-management issues proved very helpful when being attacked by relentless creatures. Since the beginning, he found himself mostly on his own.
Michael was roaming a small town when he found a small house. He had cleared out the two zombies in the house. One seemed to be a rather old man, and the other a lady in her mid-forties. He threw both of the decaying bodies out of the window, after successfully stabbing both in the face with a crowbar. After cleaning up the blood and various other substances that were throughout the house, he made himself at home.
Upstairs, he walked around, looking for something to pass the time.
