Did u end up scrapping that one scene u said u were drawing for the recent nosfuratu sakugo post? The one of gojo holding sukuna’s face? It looked incredible. I’m curious as to why?

The color pallete didn't fit the spread :( Im just not a fan of such contrast.

why is it that skg fans always have to make a disclaimer that they’re aware sukuna and gojo are not “actually” in love and they just enjoy their dynamic in order to… yk… not be harassed?

multiple people who’ve had read the manga (including the ones who can actually read japanese) have mentioned their romantic speech and the charged undertones of their confrontation. these two characters have always been linked to each other due to their unique status in the jujutsu society and their core struggle with loneliness and have admitted to enjoy and appreciate each other in some way, even though they’re enemies.

and there are ships in this fandom, which are more popular, but are also pretty one sided and have significantly less romantic undertones or whose shippers base their romance on additional anime only scenes. yet their fans don’t have to emphasize that it’s a “joke ship” solely bc the characters they ship are on the same team and are slightly amicable with each other.

thinking about how to Gojo, love is “the most twisted curse of them all”, and that’s what he wields to battle Sukuna, leaving him with a broken heart and so much openings that guarantee his kids’ chance at winning in the end.

because “curses can only be exorcised by another curse”.

after Gojo died, there are 5 or 6 instances where they use something along the line of “Sukuna couldn’t do this & that because of his battle with Gojo”, hell even Sukuna himself admitted that.

And the thing is i think Sukuna didn’t realize that. He thought Gojo was greedy for also going on about the love and solitude route, he didn’t realize Gojo viewed Love differently from Yozoru and Kashimo. to Gojo LOVE IS A CURSE.

Sukuna didn’t realize Gojo was putting a curse on him.

You know, it used to haunt me for years what kind of curse Gojo would become in a cursed AU… but i think i know now.

It’s Love. It’s Love all this time. The abandoned Love that withered and fell in a garden of deep purple, as fleeting as the seasons.

thinking about how we never got a panel of sukuna cannibalizing satoru’s body after their fight makes me break out in hives. not only because i’m a sick bitch that wanted to see a lot more sukuna cannibalism but also because i think gojo deserved to be consumed by the last person to ever truly acknowledge him, to be eaten by the man who’s skies were cleared by him, to become one with the only person to both literally and figuratively truly see him inside and out

i like sukugo bc i feel like the dynamic actually works for both of them. gojo really could use a break from being "the man" and sukunas presence absolves him from the pressure of being the strongest, the greatest, the responsible one, and sukuna finally met his match, he is no longer lonely for he has finally found someone on his level, and that someone just so happens to be a goofball who is also as entertaining as humans get
