Genshin Impact Headcanons

So I know I should write more than just headcanons or ideas but like ... :) My driving headcanons are divided in two, [Modern Au] is based on if they were born in a modern universe, [Isekai AU] is based on if they were transported from Teyvat to a modern AU.

Zhongli [Modern Au]: 

Drives like a grandpa

Complains when he sees a car going over the speed limit

Doesn’t start driving unless everyone has their seatbelt on

Leans forward and squints

Puts his hand in front of you if he breaks too hard and asks you if you’re okay

Xiao [Isekai AU]: 

Doesn’t drive

Absolutely terrified of cars

Doesn’t trust anyone behind the wheel

Holds onto the handle on the roof (yk the one)

Gets car sick

There’s nothing romantic about cars for him

Kaeya [Modern Au]:

Drives a low-rider (ew)

Into sports cars and modding his car

Modified his exhaust

Leans back and tries to look cool for you while he drives (only uses 1 hand to drive)

Drives a stick shift

Doesn’t let you listen to music in the car because he wants to hear the car go brrr

Probably wants you to give him head while he’s driving but thinks about the car the whole time

Diluc [Modern Au]:

Drives an electric (probably tesla)

Definitely a luxury car but not a super expensive custom one, he’s a modest boy (at least...for his tax bracket he is)

Lets you pick the music

Never takes his hands off of 10 and 2

Car sex probably confuses him

He still opens the door for you though, he doesn’t even realize why you’re surprised the first couple times he does it and thinks it’s a perfectly normal thing to do (he’s not the type to RUN just to open the car door, its more if he just gets there first

Tartaglia/Childe [Modern Au]:

Has multiple luxury cars and didn’t check the price before buying them

Insists on buying you any car you want

Speeds constantly (He’s the guy Zhongli complains about)

Puts his hand on your thigh while driving

Formally believes car sex is hot

Thoma [Modern Au]:

Probably already has your playlist saved on his phone so he can make sure you’re listening to your favorites

Buys random things for his car to make his passengers and especially you more comfortable (example: a phone charger that fits your phone even if it doesn’t fit his, make-up wipes, always has napkins, etc.)

Stares at you at red lights and asks for kisses or kisses your cheek (which sounds fun but gets annoying after the 50th red light)

Opens the door for you (probably the type to run to the car to make sure he gets it)

Itto [Modern Au]:

Drives a truck or jeep

Loves off roading

Speeds constantly and screams while doing it

Plays his own music and sings along loudly

Dances while he drives

Venti [Isekai AU]:

Still doesn’t have his license because no one believes he’s old enough to drive

Demanding passenger (doesn’t pay for gas either)

Insists on playing his own music despite how many people are in the car

Thinks gliding is faster (its not)

Gorou [Both]:

 Barks at other dogs on the road

Thinks he’s going to the park (probably going to the vet)

Albedo [Isekai AU]:

Probably has an existential crisis trying to figure out if he is related to the car he is driving

Drives at max 10 MPH and doesn’t see the problem with it

Opened the hood and broke something while tinkering with it

Bennet [Both]:

Not allowed to drive because he WILL crash

Razor [Isekai AU]:

Barks at other dogs on the road

Refuses to enter the car and must be forced to

Thinks he’s going to the vet

Pukes in the car now you have to clean it up

 The rest I think would be pretty mundane (and probably too young to drive) so that’s it for now. Not all romance based.

“Nice to Meet You” -a fan fic idea??

Might make a fan fic in which reader’s cursed technique is a time loop. Gojo keeps dying and it’s up to her to figure out how to prevent it. However, after her 57th try she’s beginning to doubt her ability. This fan fic is semi inspired by Re:Zero, where when reader dies, the time loop resets itself. It would be semi-long semi-short, and it would take me forever to plan out but I just wanted to put it out there. I already wrote a preview which is literally so small but its what got me to write this fic so yeyyeye.

"Nice to meet you."

Was what she said, but the smile she gave him was void of any awkward shyness that came with meeting a stranger; rather, it was filled with the recognition one would give a dear old friend. The way she smiled reminded him of the warmth of home when one would come back to a lover’s embrace. It perplexed him, how this stranger gave such emotion upon seeing him. It wasn’t abnormal for women to try to grasp his attention by acting in a way they think he would find interesting; however, this encounter was nothing of the sort. Her genuine eyes unnerved him.

“You as well.” He shook her hand, much smaller than his own, as her smile eased with his touch. A faraway look took over her face, like she was looking at someone who wasn’t him, like he himself had vanished, and a different person had taken his place. He deemed her unreadable, the first in a while, while keeping his usual shit-eating grin on his face. Normally, he’d thrown in some shitty pick-up line or a snarky remark, but silence replaced these, as he pondered if he had met her somewhere before.

Hello! Here’s some head canons for Gojo I’ve had floating around, hope you enjoy! 

Gojo Satoru w/ a non-Sorcerer SO:

Let’s be honest, Gojo would probably never date a non-sorc s/o, I feel like he would have too much of an internal conflict with how far your world is from his, not to mention the fact that Gojo doesn’t view those who are weak as separate beings (they all feel the same to him) BUT, if Gojo were to be with a non-sorc it would only be under certain circumstances;

Gojo would be FWB w/ the s/o and accidentally fell in love (doubt though, it’d be hard to make a lasting impression on someone who views everyone as the same)

***Manga spoiler*** Gojo would be forced to interact w/ y/n on a mission. We see Gojo show compassion for Riko Amanai (the star vessel) because he is aware she is about to kick the bucket. While this compassion could stem from his idea that youth should not be stolen from anyone, he was still forced to interact with her, and thus grew compassion for her. Imagine a scenario in which he would have to spend more time than just a day with y/n. 

I don’t think Gojo would ever date someone based off of a chance meeting, or go out of his way to meet them again if it isn’t for sex or work. Especially younger Gojo, no one who is weak would leave enough of an impression for him to seek out again. 

Being with Gojo would definitely be difficult, as you two would feel worlds apart. In order to combat this, Gojo would indulge in media (such as movies) to have a sort of touch w/ normal people. 

It would take a bit for Gojo to develop more specific interests with you, seeing as he would base his views on normal people based off of a general population rather than an individual, HOWEVER, Gojo would quickly pick up on your habits and act accordingly. 

If you like books, he would tune into what books you’re reading and make sure you have the newest issue

If you like music, I doubt he would get invested in the music, but he would be something along the lines of playing your music when driving around 

I think he would really enjoy a S/O who can cook well, but not in a professional way, more in a homecooked way. You can see him enjoy Yuji and Megumi’s cooking, so an S/O who cooks would be nice

He would LOVE someone who bakes, especially one who would learn how to make his favorite desserts, tbh he would probably find this very cute 

Any sort of habit you do, he would pick up on, and would be able to read you VERY well, so hiding anything from him would be nearly impossible and anytime you’re in a bad mood, he would always know how to make you feel better. 

In terms of dates, Gojo is LOADED with money, and would take you to fancy restaurants. He probably thinks all normal people are money hungry, to which he would respond with pouring loads of money into his S/O even if they dislike it. 

Gojo preferring to go out vs stay in could really go both ways

On one hand, he has money and probably high standards, so going out and dressing up for fancy things might be more his style HOWEVER

Odds are; Gojo does this with the girls he plans to sleep with (and only sleep with) so in order to make you more special, he would prefer to have more personal, less fancy dates, like staying inside and watching movies. 

Gojo would WANT to show you off, however, he might refrain from doing so in order to protect you. 

Due to the dangers of dating him, Gojo would heavily distance himself

In fact, the beginning of the relationship, he wouldn’t visit for weeks at a time. 

Gojo would be able to tell if you two were being watched/followed, however once word gets out about you, you would become a weakness for Gojo He wouldn’t tell you about curses and stuff directly. 

Gojo wouldn’t be jealous of many people, as he thinks he’s the greatest shit.

However, he would eventually be jealous of you getting close to another male/female/preference but would never admit it

If he did admit it, it wouldn’t be in a serious way, more like a joke 

Instead he would just steal you away, maybe even guilt tripping you into hanging out with him instead 

He wouldn’t tell you about curses and stuff directly. He might make a sly comment about it, but he wouldn’t tell you until he had to.

For example, if you asked where he worked he would answer honestly (a teacher at jujustu high) but wouldn’t explain the part about the sorcs

He would eventually explain it to you should the need for it arise
