decades of life experience

boredom-fueled busybody shamelessness

access to the most gossipy next-door-neighbors in existence

"I am too old to be arrested and/or give a shit" attitude

and solve crimes. this should be an enormous subgenre.

This is a pink belly moth. My partner spotted it as she was leaving for work. Its caterpillar lives on grevillea banksia. Ive not seen many of them around but this one is a prime example.

Hello yall. Here is a yellow banded dart i saw whilst taking my cat for a walk this morning. They have a pretty set of wings in an unusual configuration. Looks like a little harrier jet.

A eupoecila beatle or a fiddler beatle that i spotted when i was out with the missus this morning. She was very scared of this tree as it was crawling with native bees and other insects.

I cant remember ever seeing this beetle before, but i think it is very fine and i like the green patterns on them.

This gorgeous orchard butterfly found her way into our garden today. What bright blue and green colorations she has. She was pretty dang big as well.

Assassin bug hanging out on our lampshade at home. He came on for the light.

Today I noticed a small hole in the top of one of our tomatoes. So i decided to cut it open and take a peak. It was a wretched heliothis caterpillar deciding to feast on our hard work.

it is. so weird to me that I'm having to say this again after a real-life cartoon supervillian already once ran for president on a platform of hatred & fascism and won, but.

Here is a photo of a dung beetle that we spotted outside. I am not sure about the species, but he is an important little guy and i respect his work.

I remember back when i was a little person i would help my father catch beetles like this and we would send them to the department of primary industries so they could see what species were in the area. I guess you could say pokemon go was based on my life, but we never got any dung berries back from the DPI so I'd disagree.

saw an ant on the bus today, what a horrible fate. moved an unfathomable distance from everything you've ever known because of forces you could never possibly understand. no matter how long you follow the pheromone trail you laid you'll never find your way home.
