Tie front tops are a petite girl's best friend bc the rise in the front of the shirt has a leg lengthening effect! Post baby, 20 lbs heavier and cellulite-- and I LOVE MY BODY MORE now than I did when I was in college. I used to have the worst self esteem, I absolutely loathed myself. I look back at pictures and don't ever think, "I wish I had just lost 5 more lbs". I only regret not loving myself. All of those wasted tears that I wasn't taller with a flat stomach and a size 0. I was a size 4, but in my mind I was a size 40. It's funny how working on your confidence literally transforms what you see. Yes, I have stomach rolls in this picture. Yes, bathing suit photos are still hard to post sometimes. BUT I felt hotter rocking this swimsuit than I ever did when I was smaller. Even my friends from college have commented on how much I've changed, how I am happier now. So girls, STOP beating yourself up over imperfections. Work on your mind first, and then your body. Don't regret the wasted time hating yourself. Instead look in the mirror everyday and practice thinking about what you love, because this did more for me than any diet ever has. ❤️ (at Corona del Mar, California)

This is one of the first form fitting things I've worn since before I was pregnant with Everett. It's been over a year and I've lost 45lbs total so far. It can still be a little uncomfortable knowing that tight things hug my c-section pudge and I still have quite a bit of meat on my bones, but I'm so happy that I am starting to feel more like myself and I've learned to love by body regardless of what my scale says. Our bedroom is getting a makeover, and I am excited to kick it off with this new mattress @tuftandneedle gave us.
