THIS is what you payed for.
Remember when Vunder was asking for money for the MCSM recreation map for several years? At first he was releasing it peace-meal as donations came in. But those donations were slow and took MONTHS to reach his extremely HIGH milestones.
Well, he finally decided to just give up and release the whole completed map for everyone to have. Naturally I downloaded the map when he released it, but I was so bitter from fighting with him for so long that I didn't want to even touch the map. It's been sitting up there for nearly a year now.
I decided to finally check out his map and for the most part it's good...
But then I found this:
Location -231 111 121 in the map. Literally only a few hundred blocks from spawn. Vunder was asking for MONEY for this map. If you paid him money, you bought yourself a map with a swastika in it.
I confronted him about it immediately and his response was "LMAO some builder put that in as a joke!"
Sorry Vunder, but I have higher standards than you. No amount of "joking" excuses this. If you let it slip because it's a joke, you're a shitty project lead at best and an antisemite at worse. And given that his response to me was that "religion is a way to control people" I am leaning on the later.
This map has been up for download for close to a year. He was asking for HUNDREDS OF DOLLARS for this map. If you paid for this map, you inadvertently contributed to this man and his "team" of people who thought including a swastika was "funny."
I'm Jewish, by the way. In my experience people who think including swastikas as jokes are not usually far away from the types of people who include them for reason they're intended for.
To be fair he has said he's going to remove it, but that doesn't excuse how long this flew under the radar and how long it was up on his site for download or for his careless attitude in letting it slide as a "joke" by one of his builders. And it's right by spawn. I found this just by flying through the map in a few minutes. He's supposed to be the leader for this map project.
So either he's careless and didn't notice it, saw it and didn't care, or built it himself and is now panicking that someone caught him.
I really thought I was done with his bullshit. But you can't make this crap up when it comes to Vunder and his cronies.

Remove New Music Resource Pack
I’ve been going down an old school trip with Minecraft lately and one of the things that’s been bothering me is all the new music. Don’t get me wrong, Minecraft music is awesome... but something about the new music just doesn’t hit the same for my anymore.
I looked everywhere but I couldn’t find a resource pack that removed the new music. I found a couple which added some songs from the official Alpha Beta track list, but those aren’t from the game I remember playing either.
So I made a resource pack that silences all new music. It’s very simple. I took a bunch of audio files with 1 second of silence in them, renamed them to the new music files, and compiled them in a resource pack.
It’s lightweight, does not modify any of the original music at all or modify your game!
If you’re big into playing Alpha and Beta minecraft then take a trip down memory lane!

Fallen Kingdom Banners FINISHED
Well that didn’t take long. LOL! There weren’t as many banners and maps as I thought there were...
Like my Ultimate Minecraft: Story Mode Banner Set that I posted a few months back, this is an accompanying version for the Captain Sparklez "Fallen Kingdom" music video series. This room contains the most relevant maps, banners, and hieroglyphics that were featured in those videos. They are on display next to buttons that will give you the exact map needed. There's a button to give yourself invisible item frames so you can take advantage of transparencies. And a structure block file is included so you can import this into your own map easily. To get the maps into your world all you have to do is copy/paste the map files into your world's data folder and use the buttons to give them to you. Or you can use the following command (incrementing the map numbers as needed) to give them to yourself:
/give @p minecraft:filled_map{map:5503}
I take no credit in the design of the artworks themselves, I am merely providing the ability to import them into your world. Some of the maps (such as the master and student painting) are designed to be placed inbetween 2 blocks instead of on the block, because that's how they were presented in the music video.
You can download the banners/maps here.

Fallen Kingdom Banners
Today I’ve begun a new project. Recreating the famous Captain Sparkles “Fallen Kingdom” music video artwork for use in vanilla Minecraft!
My first task was to re-create this desert temple hieroglyphic from “Take Back the Night” into 32 locked transparent maps that you can place on the walls using invisible item frames.
More to come and eventually I will compile it all into a zip containing all the maps for you to download and import into your own world!

MCSM Music Resource Pack
I made a Minecraft Story Mode Music Resource Pack for 1.19.2!
I went through all the original music from MCSM and picked songs that I felt best translated to similar vanilla Minecraft music!
Get an immersive MCSM musical experience with this pack!
I can’t host this on Planet Minecraft because it’s so large.
You can download the file here.
Just download the 94mb ZIP file, put it in your resourcepacks folder, and then when you load up version 1.19.2 you can add the resource pack to your game!

So, Vunder, the builder notes are appreciated. I still think there’s a lot you can do to improve the map by adding decorations.... but mostly I am just super concerned about all these glitches with the map.
Whole chunks just... missing. Cutting off parts you DID have before, obstructing areas, deleting areas, and just in general it still looks really ROUGH. Like, why is there just a solid block of stone in the middle of the main spawn area?
I’m guessing that it’s probably because you’re chopping areas up and adding them piecemeal as you keep updating these maps. I thought you already had the map finished and were just deleting chunks, but I guess you just have the builds done and you’re just randomly assembling the builds haphazardly with each release?
Look man. I don’t even care about the decorations and lighting anymore. At this point I just want a GOOD map. And as usual you’re SO-CLOSE but there’s so much roughness around the edges that just need some polishing.

Using these files I was able to fix a couple things I couldn’t see from the game.
1. I fixed the stairs leading into the side door entrance.
2. Added the enclosed wheat farm on the side.
3. Added a window box to the outside (not pictured).
4. Lowered the ceiling to be appropriate inside (not pictured).
5. Changed an unknown block into a cauldron on the porch.
Pretty sure the hay bails aren’t the right textures for the blocks on the sides, but I’ll need to consult video for those...
This is the RAW data I got from a user who sent me converted files which I then converted into an obj. Ignoring all the garish colors and AWFUL lighting I added… Look at all that extra information I never knew existed! I didn’t know the cabin had windowsills and a small farm on the side!
Again, THANK YOU SO MUCH!

I can’t get over how much of the landscape around Lucas’s house is actually modeled! We barely see anything and it happens so fast, you wouldn’t expect that they would need to model THIS much of it.
Outside of his house is a tree, cobblestone fence, a river with a bridge, and so many more trees. All those little flat X cards across the landscape are meant to be grass.

Vunder.... stop trying to bait me into joining your discord.
Converting d3dmesh to obj?
Seriously, I’m at my wits end ‘bout all this stupid Vunder shit.
Anyone in the MCSM community or TellTale modding community know how to convert TellTale’s proprietary 3D d3dmesh files to the more common 3D obj files?
I’ve ripped both Minecraft Story Mode Season 1 and 2. I’ve got all the files. All the audio clips, 3D meshes, textures, dialogue prompts, animations, etc. I’ve got access to ALL of it. But I can’t figure out how to convert TellTale’s 3D files into something I can actually… you know… USE.
If I can just manage to convert them to obj files, I’ll be able to convert them into schematics/blueprints and import them directly into Minecraft itself. Or, at the very least, be able to see the models in 3D and convert them block for block by eye (again, but slightly more accurately).
If anyone has anything that can help, let me know.

A backside look at Fred’s Keep. I tried to paint a checkered pattern on the vertices to help with the perspective and show how many blocks wide things are.

THANK YOU!!!!!
Thank you thank you thank you THANK YOU! I don’t care if there aren’t any textures, the block placement is the most important thing for me at the moment! I can actually LOOK at these files now and zoom through them and ensure that the correct number of blocks are being used in all the right places and see stuff the camera normally wouldn’t see!
Of course this will take some time to sort through, but OMG! Thank you SO MUCH for helping convert those TellTale meshes into something usable!
I have already built some of these builds by eye, but this will actually help me ensure that my eye is correct and help me fix any mistakes or fill in any areas I had to fudge because the camera wouldn’t see it! Again, thank you so much!!

Yeah... I don’t currently have access to 3ds Max. But thanks for the link, I’ll download those and keep the scripts somewhere safe in case I somehow legally come across a copy of 3ds Max in the near future...

Yeah... no...
We’re never getting the full release.
Ever.
Vunder was mad at me because he felt my tumblr posts about his gofundme campaign was damaging his ability to make enough money for future releases. So a few months ago Vunder and I agreed to stay in our lanes. I wouldn’t post about his project, and he wouldn’t sic his discord group on me.
But now It’s been MONTHS...
And there’s STILL been no sign of a new release even coming REMOTELY close yet...
Fans of the project are frustrated and begging him to lower the price because they actually WANT to fund it. But what Vunder is asking for is far too steep. And Vunder is such a greedy lil’ diva that he REFUSES to budge on his asking price because he feels he’s OWED this money....
For a re-creation of a franchise that he didn’t make, that’s copyrighted to Mojang, which is out of print and unavailable through any sort of legal distribution, and is 10x the asking price of the game itself when it was initially released. Huh...
Vunder my dude, the problem isn’t me. The problem is you’re asking for TOO MUCH MONEY. And fans, while they WANT to be supportive, can’t afford your asking price!
So this map just sits there.
Dead to the world.
Hoarded by a greedy kid.
I’ve done what I can for the MCSM community. I ripped both games, translated textures into locked maps that you can import and decorate your maps with, and even added my own texture pack that emulates the variations of MCSM textures. For free, I might add...
If I could rip the 3D models themselves and re-create my OWN block-accurate versions the way Vunder has, I would do it. And I wouldn’t charge a cent for it.
But unfortunately the tech that Vunder used was proprietary (or at the very least is no longer available on sites HE posted about). So once again, Vunder is hoarding and gatekeeping the ONE THING that any of us could to do attempt the same thing he did.
Greedy, selfish, asshole.

5 months of people waiting...
We’re still waiting, Vunder. Seriously, I hate to be a downer but I GENUINELY don’t think you’re EVER going to reach your goal. For the love of god already just release the damn thing and let people enjoy this map.

Still waiting...
It’s been a little over a month since Vunder and I called a temporary truce.
Does not look like any progress has been made, and fans are (rightfully) annoyed at the slow progress. Seriously... 2 years already...
I’m sorry Vunder, I do not think you’re going to get the FULL amount you’re asking for. It’s just too god-damn HIGH!
At this point it would be much better for you to just cut your losses and release the damn thing, while keeping donations open for people who want to tip you for the hard work.
Honestly, I think you’d actually get MORE money that way, but what would I know?
