#kingdom hearts final mix#kingdom hearts#kh#kh alice#kingdom heart alice#🫀vein and stone (Hollow Bastion)🫀#🃏the girl who fell down a rabbit hole (Alice)🃏#this is so funny why is she just There. what#but also holy shit that sure is a kidnapped child huh.#Alice is such an interesting princess of heart because she’s NOT a princess#and sure as far as we know Kairi isn’t either but it haven’t been confirmed either way for her#when Alice is just a girl. but Wonderland is HER dream it’s a place made by her sleeping self#which does pose the question of what Wonderland is in the kingdom hearts universe，because in the books#(and I’m pretty sure the animated movie as well) Wonderland is just a child’s dream.#the whole ‘and it was all dream’ trope is ridiculed to hell and back and don’t get me wrong it’s bad#but for Alice in Wonderland (and it’s sequel Alice Through the Looking Glass) it works because it fits.#Wonderland is completely incomprehensible and rambling in the way only dreams can be. these books are a young child recounting dreams to her#older sister. and that’s all it needs to be. it’s a walk through the nonsensical yet entertaining dream of a seven year old#Alice is actually based on a young girl (who shares her name) who the author was friends with and it makes sense.#dreams and children are simply just Like That™️#Disney’s Alice in Wonderland actually takes bits from both Alive in Wonderland AND Alice through the Looking Glass (which is my favourite)#which does bring up some interesting points when it comes to Alice being a ‘princess’. in Alice Through the looking glass，like the previous#book has cards，has the cast of a chess set and Alice takes the place of a white pawn (as the true white pawn who’s name is lily is much too#small to do much) and hast to travel to the other side of the board to become a queen ala a pawn might in chess. which I suppose makes her#a sort of Princess，as she is going to become the queen，but that doesn’t happen in the movie so.#did I use this as an excuse to ramble about Alice through the looking glass because it’s my favourite book? yes.#and I will probably use a picture of neverland to complain about the Peter Pan book because it is bad#but this whole thing does raise the question if kh wonderland is still a dream. is kingdom hearts simply part of Alice’s dream?#did kh Alice wake up and tell her sister about being kidnapped and rescued by Sora and Donald and Goofy? does she tell her about the other#princesses of light? these are things that keep me up at night
