Only when you see the “wrongs” will you make things right moving forward. ✖️Ascenders & Descenders smaller than the x-height. (Seriously thought it’s going to be cute) but it resulted to shorter ascending stem loops. ✖️ Ovals were inconsistent ✖️inconsistent spacing ✖️varying pressure on downward strokes ✖️ underturns and compound curves were a mess! ✔️ Improved slants (but can do better) ✔️ started to get the hang of using the nib and never had ink blots and railroadings. #practice #metalnib #dippen #calligraphy #inks #calligram #calligrafriendsph #calligrafriends #pointedpencalligraphy #basics #technicalities #learning #hunt22 #engrossersscript #copperplate
