it’s not just that john refuses to take his shirt off. for the first, oh, 20 parleys, he never so much as rolls up his sleeves or undoes a single button on his shirt. but hey eventually he gets more comfortable around merle and at least takes off his jacket or loosens his tie. one day his sleeve does roll up a bit by accident and that is when merle discovers that under that sharp professional suit, john is COVERED in tats

also i feel like i’ve might have mentioned this headcanon before but i feel like kravitz is like,,,, kinda a god?? like i want to say a demi-god but not in the percy jackson sense (mostly bc i only read the first two books and don’t know much abt the pj demi-gods) but in the sense of “as the grim reaper, kravitz isn’t a mortal but he also isn’t a god like the raven queen, istus, or pan”

but i feel like, technically, he still does have a place in the celestial plane? like, his “home,” per se, is the astral plane, but if the raven queen is in the celestial plane, then, technically, kravitz is welcome as well? plus, i personally believe that the other gods have taken a liking to the raven queen’s kid

kravitz: … lady istus, thank you, but i am over four hundred years old and have been alive, well, dead for a very long time

also tho, with this hierarchy of godliness, i think it’s kinda funny to assume that kravitz, like, knows other gods through the raven queen. like, he can call other gods through the celestial stone of farspeech (the raven queen still uses her feather communicating system because, akin to actual mothers, she can never figure out how stones of farspeech work) except he always introduces himself as, “hello, this is kravitz, bounty hunter for the raven queen” and, most of the time, the god on the other line is like, “hey, it’s the raven queen’s kid!”

also taako can marry into godhood and claim a title in the astral plane, but kravitz will let him figure that one out himself
