some more cropped wips of pages i did today for my banana fish zine!
some joke titles i thought of for it too:
“Tender Gay Starin”
"A Very Soft and Long Date"
“Countryside Gays”
"Standing Extremely Close and Surrounded by Leaves"
“We Went Sightseeing But I’m Only Looking at You for Some Reason"
"Ash Has Never Smiled So Much in His Life”
"Unnecessary Cats in the Background"
but actually i was thinking of calling it “departure” with the cover page illustrating ash boarding a plane or already in the plane and holding eiji’s letter so

1. QUIZLET. It will save you when you have a bunch of terms + definitions to memorize. I especially love using the “learn” tool since it helps you to memorize the terms in a bunch of different ways so it’s not just flashcards over and over
2. MAKE A HABIT. Study a little bit every day, even if it’s just like 30 minutes every day, I promise it will make it easier to get started even when you don’t want to study since you’ll be more used to it.
3. SWITCH UP YOUR LOCATION. If you’re having a hard time concentrating or working for a long time, just move to a different place. Even if this just means moving from your desk to the floor, this switch can really help it to seem less monotonous.
4. TYPE AND WRITE YOUR NOTES. I find it to be super useful to type my notes during class (since I type faster than I can write by hand) and then rewrite them when I get home by hand. Of course, if you prefer (or have to) write by hand during class, type them up when you get home.
5. MAKE YOUR NOTES LOOK NICE. I know, this is a bit controversial, but I find it really motivating to have nice notes. It keeps me organized and it makes me want to study more often since I don’t want to put all my effort to waste.
6. JUST START. Yes, easier said then done, but I’ve found that if I just tell myself that I’ll just work for 2 minutes and then decide if I want to continue or not usually helps me to just get started and not find it so difficult to begin working. If you still feel like not working after 2 minutes, then take a break and try again in 10 minutes or so.
