She wanted to argue with him, make him understand that at his age the people he should be finding beautiful at the girls his age and not women like her. It wasn't that she did not think she had looks, she just didn't believe a boy his age could appreciate them considering the plethora of young girls that were plastered all over social media and she was sure around him too. Liam could see why others found her intimidating. She certainly had that aura to her and was someone who wouldn't hesitate to put people in their place if they deserved it. Still he didn't see someone so intimidating now. He only saw someone who seemed to care about her work more than anything. Hearing her words the man bit his lower lip unsure how else to respond to her. He gently nodded his head at her as he heard her words. "You are right about all those things but that doesn't mean you aren't any less beautiful. I mean one can be all those things and still be beautiful. " He clarified. At her next words liam felt himself sag a little as he looked into her eyes. He knew she was telling him the truth and that was all there was to it. Nothing else could ever come between them that what they already were. And that was a boss and an employee. The man looked into her eyes for a moment trying to find words but he could hardly find any. Moreover her question had caught him off guard. He wasn't certain how best to respond to it. After a while he decided to give in and say what he believed was the best thing to say at that moment. "I suppose you can pay for the dinner boss." He said chewing on his bottom lip.

It was already hard enough that she had endured the earlier embarrassment, now she had to face him again like nothing had happened "Uh not mine, my friend's" She had not been blessed to get a child out of her previous marriage that did not work. Maybe she had a bad tip, but sometimes was suppose to go down tonight, and she was more than ready to capture it and report it but it seemed the tip was bad, which meant it was a night wasted for her. Had she heard him right? Gianni tilted her head at him confused by his boldness. Men did not approach her like this. She's always been considered intimidating. When her father was still alive, he would terrorize anyone that would go near her and it seemed like even though he is gone all the damage was done.
