i have the worst executive dysfunction of my life rn and it’s making grad school seem impossible. i literally feel so dumb because i can’t complete even the easiest assignments and nothing seems to help. even deadlines don’t work, i’m weeks late on several assignments, and am so anxious about it but that’s not enough to push through it all. i don’t know what to do

ok i see that there are several theories out there, but did anyone else assume that the count had eaten the romani guy when he confronts jonathan about the letters? bc the guy was so sweet when he received the letters from jonathan! i feel like it’s possible that he was on his way to get those letters posted when he got targeted by dracula for some reason or other, drained, and then the count found the letters on him and flew into a rage.

back on my bs bc i signed up for a summer class and am already bored in wk. 2. it’s kinda painful not having a break between semesters but we out here saving money and that’s necessary. spent 3hrs or so today watching recorded lectures and typing up discussion board posts, and i’m hoping to also get some reading for fun in as well. been obsessed w dracula daily and have never read dracula before so it’s a lot of fun, even tho i keep getting spoilers from tumblr lol.

getting back on the swing of things after letting myself vegetate post-finals. started working through a textbook for an upcoming class this next semester because i’m gonna be taking 18 credits and if i can get even the littlest bit ahead now i’ll be thanking my past self in a month or two. i am also loving the opportunity to read for fun over break and am excited to dive into my TBR.

so while there’s a crazy gap between this post and my last, i was not dead or lazy. i went back to college, and finished the semester in a whirlwind of friends, crises, studying, and finals. then i moved back home for winter break and spent a few days processing and relaxing. final grades brought me four As and one C and i’ll take it because it was a heck of a semester. i do want to make next semester smoother and straight As though so i’ve some projects to do over break for that. today i went to work, ran errands, and made homemade tomato basil soup.

i really don’t know how i’m going to complete everything that’s due before finals, but i guess it’ll either happen or i’ll take the L and move on. anyway, today i digitized some notes for one of my classes, and took notes on five or so chapters of my textbook. slow and steady.

today i read an entire book, taking notes chapter by chapter. it was super slow work but i’m so proud i got it done! i had a tv show playing in the background to help me focus and ended up finishing all of Marvel’s The Defenders. probably wouldn’t have watched it alone but it worked well as background noise. Daredevil rocks too, he was definitely my favorite part of the show. i also had my first peppermint mocha of the season while studying and it really hit the spot.

today was thanksgiving day for us americans but my family just had a tiny gathering so i was able to get a bunch done still. i finished up the 5 page paper from yesterday, and took notes on 20 chapters of a book i’m reading for one of my classes.

hey there, i desperately need motivation to do anything for school, so here goes nothing. i’m gonna try this studyblr thing out for a bit, we’ll see what happens. starting at the bottom so it’s gotta get better from here right? Not starting off super strong, as Thanksgiving break began today, but i wrote 3 pages of a 5 page paper. ran some errands as well, hope to finish more assignments in the next couple days.
