Recently watched a movie about the life of Alma Mahler called “Bride of the Wind.” It’s a strange film but in the last 5 or so minutes Renée Fleming plays the part of Francis Alda in recital and sings one of Alma’s art songs. She only sings 2 songs on the soundtrack but they’re gorgeous. I’m just living for the day that Renée releases another lieder album <3
