Jackie and I met Mads Mikkelsen at Monster Mania last night and holy shit he was so fucking nice.

We also met Bill Moseley, got hugs from Meg Foster, and extensive compliments from Rowdy Roddy Piper. It was literally the best day ever.

These were the best quality photos we took during the signing session; people kept walking in front of him and the light coming in the window kind of killed the photos i took with my camera but my mum got some good darker ones

also i was shaking like nobody’s fucking business because Mads Mikkelsen

STORY TIME

so as you can see i met the amazing Mads Mikkelsen at Monster Mania 2014. They shuffled all the vip ticket holders wanting to meet him up into this small room and as soon as we walked in we were all just gasping and smiling and this man was smiling back and chewing gum like a beautiful cow.

It took me probably about 15 minutes to get through the line and oh my god you guys he is so much more beautiful in real life like you think hes gorgeous on the silver screen hun you dont even know.

He was very polite and said, ” Hello, what have we got here?”

I stuttered hello and spread the photos out and told him that i also drew something for him, so I scooted the portrait towards him.

HOLY FUCKING SHIT GUYS HIS FUCKING FACE.

He got quiet and really serious for a moment as he looked at it for the first few seconds, then said, ” Wow…that is incredible.” Then he smiled and looked up, telling me, ” This is very beautiful. Its amazing. You are very (incredibly..?) skillful.” (a couple of the staff came over and gaped too i was flushing so horribly)

He took a few more seconds to look it over and then got out his sharpie and kind of fumbled as he tried to figure out where to sign it, saying(laughing), ” I don’t even know if i should sign it! I dont want to ruin it!” (i told him it’ll make it better if anything, he laughed)

He told me how beautiful it was again, signed the other pictures, and got up to take our picture.

I was shaking so fucking hard and I didnt know if i was allowed to touch him other than stand up against him (HE’S SO WARM AND SOLID LIKE DAMN SIR) so i just kept my hands to myself.

Then we finished up, he shook my hand for the third time (so warm), and told me to have a wonderful weekend. Then my mum got her things signed and told him she was my mother (he told her I was beautiful and my picture was amazing and i wanted to cry)

AND THEN I DID. We went to the elevator to head back to our room and as soon as theother people got off I just broke down against the back of of the elevator and cried all the way back to the room. No one has ever looked at my art with such admiration and pleasure and it meant so fucking much coming from such an amazing man that I look up to with everything i have in me. So yeah. i bawled for like fifteen minutes.

SO THAT’S MY STORY ABOUT MEETING MADS. IT WAS SURREAL. i meant to ask him to pinch me to make sure he was really there and i wasnt dreaming but i forgot. i’ll have to ask him if hes at the party, or at the q&a tomorrow.
