I guess, this is my reaction to 3x02.

So, we are in season three, episode two. In my story, Karofsky still bullies Kurt but he hasn’t got that far for Kurt to leave McKinley. So, no kiss and no death threat. Consequently, he doesn’t go to Dalton Academy and doesn’t meet Blaine. This only happens in the course of the story. And they don’t break up in this story.

Hey!! I love your fics and I was wondering, how do you find new and more complex words to describe things? when I try to write sometimes I feel like I lack of certain words to write what I have in mind and don't really know how to search for them. I hope I am making any sense. Have a marvellous day!

You aren’t the only person who feels this. I search for synonyms on-line all the time. The hardest thing for me to write is a Klaine kiss. I want them to be so magical and special, and completely different than the dozens I have written before. 

I’m not sure whether I have good advise (I have never studied creative writing), but here is what I do if I’m struggling with the wording in a scene.

1. Think of the six senses. What does he hear? See? Smell? etc. 

2. Consider writing the scene from a different angle. If the words won’t come easily, try changing the setting, the time of day, or anything that makes it easier to write but still makes sense.

3. Pass the scene and return to it later. Some of my best writing is done in my head while I’m driving, cooking, doing laundry, or the other boring things in my life. If I know the mechanics of how the scene should work, the words come easier.

When I read a scene that I think is really well written (whether it is fanfiction or traditional novels), I analyze why it works and try to figure out how that could translate to my own stories.
