Politically incorrect and irreverent, artists Rona Sissons and Lyndsey Hatchwell hope to entertain you with their quirky renditions of well known figures. From "Breeding Like Abbotts" to "Gina Minehard", there will be something to amuse everyone. Rabbit sculptures are also in the mix, as they like politicians are becoming a plague....well trained and handled they can be wonderful additions to society, on the other hand they can have a devastating and long term effect on the environment.

Our rather different exhibition opens tomorrow night....Drinks and nibbles from 5.00 pm 8.00 pm Friday 11th April at the Balmain Watch House 179 Darling Street Balmain (down from The London Hotel) also open on Sat and Sun 10.00 am - 4.00 pm. All welcome. If you like ceramic works Rona (my partner in crime) is a fantastic ceramicist and has a huge collection of works at the exhibition.

Royal Easter Show....awards!!

What a fab week....2nd Prize for miniature sculpture with Don v Windmill (Don Quixote) and a HC for my print :)

Long time no pics...but here are some of what I have been up too. This is my Ned Kelly sculpture I have been working on for months and months! He is still a work in progress...but almost done. The metal banding above is what hides under the covering. He has been selected for the Sculpture on the Greens exhibition in 2014 :)

Reminiscing about a great trip to Broken Hill a while back....this is a fun work "Bob 'n' Betty"  that came out of that trip. Would love to take off out there again, get rather sick of the suburbs some days!

Thought I'd show a different side tonight...."Murray River Run" a pastel artwork on paper from 2012 (Sold). Very much enjoyed working on this one as I love strong color and light.

Here is one of my latest dry points....really enjoyed this image and have done many different versions including some with chine-colle, some reworked and others also with color. Will post those soon.
