Ephesians 4:29 Before we speak we should ask these questions: 1. Is it true? If not, it's better not to speak at all. 2. Is it helpful? We should only speak words that will build each other up. 3. Is it kind? When you express these words will it be heard in away that is kind and beneficial? I have found myself guilty of missing the third question before. Although if what I have to say is true and believe it to be helpful to the other person, I forget that it may not be kind and beneficial to them for where they are at in their own life.
