I honestly think that even if Sarah does make the whole e/relationship happen, I would never be able to enjoy it. No matter how perfect or well written or romantic it is, I wouldn't even touch it. Why? Because everytime I think of that ship happening, I feel disgusted. Not because I don't dig the whole sunshine/dark theme but because e/riels made sure to ruin it.

If e/riel happens, I will remember everytime an e/riel threatened someone, I will remember every ill-wished message, every little tiny comment made against SA survivors, every artist canceled for shipping someone else. I will feel disgust because they ruined it before it even happened.

E/riel may have been good in another life, but in this one, its shippers ruined it from the start.

If there was gonna be a betrayal, the next book. I have a theory on who there are a lot of parallels between Elaine of Astolat and Elain Azirel Gwyn.

I won’t go too much in the story Of Elaine of Astolat. 

Elaine= Elain Lancelot= Azirel Guinevere = Gwyn

Elaine has unrequited love for Lancelot she ends up dying at the end for her love.Lancelot ends up, falling in love with Guinevere, Lancelot and Guinevere having a happily ever after.

Now I’m not saying, Elain’s gonna die, but she could be heartbroken at the end of the next book if Azirel and Gwen end up falling in love, it could be looked at as a betrayal on Azirel part.

Elain could look at it as a betrayal 

@Gwynrieldreams is the one that made the connection between Elaine of Astolat I don’t wanna take credit for that. I was just the one that made up the theory on the betrayal.

when e/riels look in a mirror and describe themselves

Canon evidence they don't provide interpretation to:

Night court black sucking the life out of Elain.

Azriel not planning beyond sexual fantasies for Elain.

Azriel not yearning or longing to kiss Elain again.

Azriel going against Elain wishes and not even crediting her for killing the king.

Gwyn is a Lightsinger and lures people but Lightsingers cannot influence other people

Elain returned the necklace and there no further indication of Elain STILL wanting Az.

Azriel telling It was a mistake on his own accord.

And I can go on but won't make it long. So they don't are just describing themselves.

Yes you read it but your brain doesn't process and interpret it. We can tell. Nothing to brag about.

So you don't agree with their interpretation then it is misinterpretation. Hmmm maybe they don't know a word called subjective and reading is just that. Maybe they should look into it.

Yes it is exactly what they do and above are some examples of it.

There ship is simply boring and now they have nothing to hate on us so now they look into a mirror and write what they see and project it onto us.

SJM ending the Bonus chapter with Gwyn as if it is something to be picked up from where we left off in the next book.

And SJM TODAY interview as well ending Azriel's LI with Gwyn, as if something to be continued on, something that will be explored and people should be curious about.

It's as if SJM ended whatever lust/rebound feelings b/w e/riel and started something new. Something that she started and hinted about something that she left to be curious about and will be explored in the next book.

P.s- SJM actually gave this interview, and her team approved of it, and this named Gwyn as a possible LI👀👀👀. So, like will e/riels stop harassing us for thinking Gwyn can be MC and not just a supporting side character.

E/riels would throw such a tantrum if Elain was treated the same way as Gwyn, because I have seen "ginger banshee", "Nesta's pick me friend", "ginger idiot" "stinky ginger" "the man stealing pick me"damaged goods" "boring and irritating" "secondhand goods" (Im cringing while writing this and I have screenshots) "Nesta's friends who was only to support her and did nothing else" etc. (I won't even address the internalised misogyny or how they downplay every achievement of her or just try to bring her character in general)

But there are no temper tantrums from Gwynriels because we don't self insert.

We know our girl will get growth in her own book and her book will shut up her haters.

We are mature and clearly not the same.

Azriel is not going to step in when Gwyn is in a dangerous situation.

No.

He is going to observe from the sidelines while Gwyn makes her way through it. Fights all the obstacles and comes out victorious.

Sees the woman he found absolutely shattered blossom into a warrior. Break the shackles of the past and walk to the future with certainty and bravery.

He is going to admire, respect and most of all love all her.

Because he knows his little redhead can take it. Knows that she is not one to back down from a challenge. Knows that she has vowed never to break again. And she will not ever be weak again.

So he watches all of it. With a smile on his face. And his shadows dancing. As his heart grows warmer and pride is spilling from his eyes.

If SJM does go to the Elriel, I will be so confused why she wrote such clear mate behavior between Gwyn and Azirel, write such a probably the most compatible characters Elain and Lucien,the same with Azriel and Gwyn, very compatible from what we’ve seen.

Just to go with a Wattpad story that is Elriel now I don’t think it will be Elriel, but we still don’t know. From the evidence that I have seen actual evidence, not theories, made up by Elriel that they look at as Canon. it seems to be going gwynirel and Elucien. this is why I really want this book announcement, because I’m so ready to have this over with just announced the book and announced a couple so people can relax.

Feyre and Rhysand/ the rulers 

Nesta and cassian /the generals 

Gwyn and Azriel/ the spies

Elain and Lucien /the emissaries

Vassa and jurian /the rulers of the human lands 

Tell me that’s not the perfect couple endings but if these couples were to get together, everybody would have somebody Nesta inner circle, Elain inner circle I feel like a circle will be Jassa.



And I know jurian is the general but I feel like he will be right by Vassa side every step she makes.

These are the perfect couples everybody gets with somebody. Everybody will be happy. This is the perfect ending for the story. .

So, I'll spell it out and dumb it down why Gwynriels are laughing at e/riels trying to turn Elain into a Lightsinger because they don't seem to understand:

Entire Gwynriel community isn't a hive mind where everyone just has the same opinion. Many of my friends do theorize that Gwyn is a Lightsinger not just a luring evil one and many of my friends don't. So those who do rightfully think that your ship is boring enough so now you are trying to steal gwynriel theorizes to make it fun and actually good.

It is e/riels who think that Gwyn is a lightsinger. E/riel ship depends on Gwyn being not just a Lightsinger but a luring one so now that people are backtracking and trying to make their ship interesting by making Elain a LS moots and sinks your entire ship. Hence the hypocrisy being pointed out.

It is e/riels who think of Gwyn as a LS so now them giving the same attributes to Elain is them giving Gwyn's traits (according to them) to Elain and hence the hypocrisy.

There is a pattern with e/riels they: 1) Trying to make Elain sing. 2) Trying to make elain be a Valkyrie by shape shifting into Ananke 3) Trying to put her in the BR to help Nesta by making her shapeshift into Balthazar 4) Making countless artworks where the shadows surround Elain and love her 5) repeatedly trying to give Elain Gwyn's bubbly and curious personality and etc.

See how again and again this is happening every other month. Hence the hypocrisy.

The fact that SJM made Pinterest boards of Crescent city before we got it.

She also has Pinterest boards a very inspired Elucien and Gwynriel.

There’s a board of a girl with flowers in her hair with a fox in the picture very Elucien coded.

There was also a Pinterest board about twilight of the gods, which is guessed to be her next series.

If Gwyn is a luring Lightsinger and Lured a 500-year-old spymaster and shadowsinger without him even knowing or being suspicious

Then Why didn't Nesta feel a spark in her chest? Why didn't she unconsciously smile thinking about Gwyn? why didn't she bury Gwyn in her heart where she glowed quietly. Why didn't she settle something in Nesta?

There is difference between Nesta not having a single friend for years and now having one, so she wants to spend time with her and talk to and about her and that person luring Nesta to be her friend.

It is literally in front of them, but they still need it to be spelled out.

Some Gwynriel: Simply not believing in the Lightsinger theory and giving Canon proof of other mates who felt same feelings Az felt for Gwyn (which e/riels seem to think points to Gwyn being a Lightsinger) to show that these feelings aren't related to Luring and are all those characters Lightsingers as well if it is meant to show Lightsinging powers?

E/riels: you self-insert, you can't even handle little criticism of Gwyn, toxic, delusional, other negative adjectives they can think of while being extremely triggered (obviously they self-project their own behavior towards elain on us).

Like are you guys hearing yourself??

They are literally saying Gwyn lures people and her friends want to see her because she's luring them, these people who HARASS real life people for not immediately obsessing on a creepy level over elain (not a real person).

They really need new hobbies and some lessons on empathy and manners.

You know how SJM made Emerie be there in the library when Mor was there and gave us hint about Emerie being attracted to her (and women) and ending up together.

Similarly, she put multiple Gwyn and Azriel interactions, them being aware of each other, of the mate language in the book as hints. She really did make it obvious.
