Maybe think to communicate with the rest of us before you go charging towards a hoard of zombies alone?” I found it on Pinterest and I have no idea who's prompt this is- if you know please let me know so I can credit them Warning: none- this is mostly fluff- not accurate to the manga or anime at all and Sanemi personality may bee a bit off- also didnt proof read it:') gender neutral reader

You have taken a small break from training, Sanemi was strict with his training and took it very seriously but luckily for you he had to leave to attend to some other things giving you a few moments to catch your breath yet that too was cut short by the Kasugai Crow that started squaking the next mission "Noth- North East, head North- North East! A lower moon is making easy work of the kanotos! " there was a certain urgency in the crows voice and the way it looked distressed, you knew you should wait for Sanemi to tell you what to do but you could tell there was no time. Quickly grabbing your nichirin blade you headed to the coordinates the crow has given you. You ran as quickly as you could. Using everything Sanemi has taught you to arrive as quickly as possible to the coordinates. By the time you arrived the battle was raging on, 3 young slayers struggling against one of the twelve kizuki, lower rank two

Taking a deep breath in order to catch your breath you got into a fighting stence, despite being rather tired from running all the way here you gave this fight your all, going through all the breathing techniques you were taught by sanemi and trying your best to dodge the attacks, you didn't have a clear plan in mind, you charged without thinking but your skills alone combined with the help of the two slayers, Tanjiro and Inosuke since Zenitsu was mostly cowering in fear. To your surprise a friendly demon came to your aid. You recognise those slayers after seeing Nezuko, the demon traveling with her brother wanting to be turned back into a human. After you decapitated the demon you struggled to breath exhausted from all the fighting and running yet you didn't get a moment of rest as you felt a familiar hand on your shoulder, a voice even more familiar saying “I’m so happy you’re alive. Because now I can kill you myself. What were you thinking?! Running to a mission without letting me know! Dumbass!" Sanemi sounded annoyed, even angry with your actions and that caused your blood to run cold, there was no way you could excuse your behaviour “There were kids in there. I wasn’t about to let them be eaten.” you argued as you turned around to face the Hashira, you tried to sound confident of your actions yet your pounding heart and slightly shaky hands betrayed you “Very noble, very stupid. Maybe consider telling me before you go charging towards a lower moon alone?” He said sternly, arms crossed against his scarred chest and all you could do was nod, you knew he was serious and training will be even more hellish now as a punishment for your rushed actions "I will let you know from now on... I apologise for this" you said as you looked down "Go back to the estate, the kakushi will tend to your wounds" he huffed as he watched you hurriedly making your way back to the estate As you walked away he relaxed his posture, he was only angry with your actions because he was afraid that you would've been dead by the time he arrived, yet watching what you've accomplished tonight he couldn't help but feel somewhat prideful, you have slayed your first lower moon without his help and that surely was something in his eyes

Demon Slayer characters celebrating your birthday

I decided to do those because my birthday will be soon and I'm really stressed cos a lot of bad things have happened already:') so I've done these for comfort!

Characters: Tanjiro, Zenitsu, Inosuke, Rengoku and Mitsuri

Warings: none- pure fluff, modern au and well- its not proof read-

Tanjiro

He would definitely want to surprise you so he had carefully planned anything a week or so before

Tanjiro will be awake before you because he's planned on making you your favourite breakfast, he will gently nudge your shoulder in order to wake you up, smiling as he handed you a plate of your favourite food that he himself has prepared

"Good morning my beloved, Happy birthday" he would smile and kiss your forehead gently

After you finished eating Tanjiro would put your plate away before handing you a neatly wrapped present, he certainly picked a few things you have mentioned before along with some other things he thought you may like

When you started unwrapping the present he got a bit nervous wondering if what he has gotten you was too little or too much and if it was to your liking

Once he sees you smile and being genuienly happy for the gift Tanjiros heart would skip a beat, he's just so glad you like his gift

The rest of the day would be spend at home doing whatever you wanted to do whether it was cuddling, watching a movie, dancing in the livingroom etc- Tanjiro would happily do it with you.

If you want to eat somewhere be sure Tanjiro will gladly take you there and pay for the food himself. If you want to go somewhere else like a town center and want to get snacks and other things Tanjiro is paying for them before you can even grab your wallet

He wants you to feel loved and appreciated on your birthday and of course he does want to spoil you just a little bit

Zenitsu

Zenitsu definitely planned your birthday months ahead- he wanted to make sure its more than perfect

He reserved a table at one of the most over the top restaurants, bought you a bouquet of your favourite flowers and certainly got you a really expensive gift, one that you mentioned wanting but said its too pricey

He would not be able to sleep the night before your birthday, he'd be going through way too many emotions to even be able to think about sleeping-

The moment you open your eyes Zenitsu is basically on his knees before you handing you the gift and bouquet of flowers "Y/n- chan Happy Birthday! I love you"

He definitely got the two of you take out for breakfast cos I dont think he can cook that well-

The rest of the day (before your restaurant reservation) he spends the day dotting over you

At the restaurant he is telling you to get everything you want and not worry about the price

Zenitsu will honestly go above and beyond to make your birthday something special

He will definitely cancel and make new plans to best fit what you like or want

Inosuke

He probably forgot about your birthday- he certainly wrote it down somewhere so he wouldnt forget it but he still ended up forgetting and remembered on the day of your birthday about it-

He panicked and immedietly demanded Tanjiro and Zenitsu help him prepare something for your birthday

He is not taking no as an answer- he will force them to help him out. He sends Zenitsu to get a cake and Tanjiro to purchase food

He will never admit to forgetting about your birthday-

He takes you to a park to have a picnic, he didnt have too much time to get you something big he got you something small and meaningful. Something that could remind you of him whenever the two of you are appart

He certainly feels bad he nearly forgot about your birthday so to make up for it he will act just a bit softer and more affectionate

Rengoku

Rengoku will wake you up early because he has a full day prepared for the both of you.

He will take you somewhere to eat and then he will take you somewhere fun where you could have an adventure

Depending if you prefer crowded places or not he will take you to either an amusement park or something similar to it or for a hike

No matter what you prefer Rengoku will want to ensure you have fond memories of your birthday or generally whenever you two are together

In the evening he will probably just want to lay down with you and relax, either watching a movie or just talking

I feel like Rengoku is more of a person who enjoys quality time spent together rather than giving gifts but for this occasion, he spend a lot of time (and with the help of Mitsuri and Tengen) he gets you a nice piece of jewlery that he will give you by the end of the day when the two of you are just relaxing at home

Mitsuri

Poor baby was so excited about spending time with you for your birthday- she wanted to let you sleep in but she really couldnt help waking you up by hugging you and pretty much yelling "My love! Happy Birthday!" as she nuzzled her face into your shoulder

She starts the day off by taking you to a restaurant and insisting on paying for everything you both get herself

She has a gift already prepared for you- its gonna be a matching piece of jewlery (like those necklaces that come in two pieces but when you put them together they create a full heart-) and she intends on giving it to you by the end of the day but she cant wait- she hands you your present while you're still at the restaurant

After you've finished eating Mitsuri will take you both to a hot spring to relax, she reserved a private spring for the both of you

While in there she will gently masage your shoulders, tell you how nuch she loves you and so on

Once you both get home Mitsuri got one last activity for you two to make together- baking!

She will let you pick what you want to bake and the two of you will do it together and if you really dont like cooking she will do it all by herself while you sit down and watch her do it

It would explain why he never tells Bell the reason, he's embaressed his arch nemesis managed to leave a visual reminder of a failure and would also kind of explain why Adler slashed Stitch eye, for Stitch to also have a visual reminder of his own failure.
