Crossover project for my digital illustration class. Had to choose two pieces of media and make a crossover of some kind using them. I chose Slay the Princess and Disco Elysium because of their similar 'multiple voices in your head' mechanic

I wanted to doodle the Long Quite, trying to figure out how i wanna draw him, I wanted to make him close to the canon image but still add more burdiness haha but 2 elbows is a must!
I also liked drawing him loooong and looking kinda flimsy in a way X)

The important thing is that Marcille did not learn to blaspheme against the natural order to save her girlfriend. She just happened to have studied the art of spitting in God's eye for wholly unrelated reasons, and when the opportunity by chance arose to employ that skill in service of girlfriend-saving, she was ready.

oops I'm thinking about slay the princess again.
one thing I appreciate about that game is how the cold is written - normally emotionless characters are presented as, like, beings of Pure Logic and Intelligence. without those puny emotions weighing them down, they can never make a single mistake. but then you have the cold, who is a complete idiot who constantly gives bad advice cause he has 0 investment in any good outcome and doesn't care if we get hurt or die. it's so refreshing to see a take on an "emotionless" character that doesn't take the kind of strange stance that emotions are actually a weakness when it comes to making good choices cause, like, why the fuck would a character without any investment in making good choices have any kind of motivation to make them???
after pristine cut opportunist might be my favourite voice (I love that pathetic little man). but cold you will always be famous to me

A background from the Pristine Cut that I have been wanting to share for ssooo long.
Yes, those chains were hand-drawn link by link :]
Here's a close up, and raw pencils for another background that I was proud of:
Just wanted to share.. that is all....

i should do an essay on the importance of Hand Imagery in Slay the Princess bc theyre a symbol thats at pretty much the same level of versatility and importance as chains or the blade or the mirror. hands in stp are freedom. they're identity. they're power. they're connection. it's all Hands

I really hope that, maybe in a future charity stream, we get to hear Jonny Sims act out the discussion on the path leading up to the cabin in the Princess and the Dragon route. Can you imagine the Narrator's reaction when he finds the body of his carefully crafted god being democratically driven by 3 fractious nincompoops working at cross-purposes?
