all cats old enough to catch their own prey, gather below high rock for a clan meeting . . .
hello everyone! my name is penelope, but please just call me penny! i am a MSN/level 2 autistic adult. I use shi/hir and thxy/thxm pronouns. I do not use he/she/they, but I am fine with you using my name in place of pronouns if you can’t use my actual pronouns.
Icon art credit : @/sorrelgaze , flag and editing by me!!
Bonus Mentions : if you like WC pride icons like I do, I recommend @/wcprideicons and @/warriors-pride !!! I love those blogs so much… 🐾❤️
send me a “🐾” emoji (or the word “paw”) and i’ll give you a random warriors headcanon !
send me a “⭐️” emoji (or the word “star”) and i’ll tell you about one of my warriors OCs!

posts by other alters in my system will all include the tag : “the clan speaks” + the alter’s name or emoji. So for example a post by Davi would be like #the clan speaks // davi OR #the clan speaks // 🦕🎸
Common triggers you may find on this blog are discussions of ableism (tagged with #penny warns // ableism) and bigotry (tagged with #penny warns // bigotry).
Medical discussions are tagged as #the medicine cat // penny’s field guide
I do not censor or TW the word queer!
— what this blog is for!
I am autistic and I realized just how few autistic content creators talk about some autistic experiences. For example, due to my sensory needs, I struggle to use metal or (most brands of) plastic forks! I’ve met a large variety of autistic folks who struggle finding the right utensils for themselves, but I’ve never seen any content creators or bloggers talk about it!
so consider this blog a place where I discuss autistic traits and the like that aren’t commonly talked about :)
when asks are open, feel free to submit your own experiences or ask questions!
— YES / “whitelist”
You may ALWAYS send asks about your personal experiences!
I’m also going to eventually open up art requests for emojis (discord servers) and requests for playlists and moodboards! I may also consider doing special interest/hyperfixation “ID packs” because those are fun!!
Also because it’s my special interest I’m begging you guys to send me asks about Warriors… hehe…
— NO / “blacklist”
A boundary I will set is NO discourse asks in my inbox! I will not answer these!
I also will not do art/moodboards/etc requests for certain fandoms. These fandoms are : hetalia , country humans , coffin of Andy and leyley , nekopara , MCYT (includes SMPs).
— DNI
Discourse centered accounts, perisex individuals who speak on intersex issues, intersex exclusionists, aromantic/asexual exclusionists, “truscum” / trans exclusionists, non-binary skeptics, proshippers/darkshippers, “transAutistic” / transID in general, TERFs/SWERFs/trans exclusionary radfems no matter what label you use, radqueers, etc…
— BYF
I am intersex and identify as an AFAB transfem. I do not owe you education and if you harass me I will block you. Respectful questions are welcome, but if I feel invalidated I will block you so watch your tone (/nm). I am sapphic/wlw. I am BIPOC, indigenous native american.
I don’t do discourse. My “discourse” tag is actually for my opinions on issues like ableism, such as micro aggressions. I don’t associate with queer discourse, system discourse, or pronoun discourse. This is all a trigger for my paranoia.
I am disabled mentally and physically. I have autism, obviously haha. But I also have fibromyalgia and POTS. I have nerve damage in my upper back and possibly another issue with my sciatic nerve. I use a cane and crutches.

hi this is your very friendly reminder that low-tech and no-tech AAC is just as valid as high-tech AAC
and also that even though high-tech devices and tablets can be life changing technology for many people, not everyone...
can use them
have access to them
want to use them
some examples of low-tech AAC:
core boards
flipbooks
picture/symbol cards
communication cards
alphabet/letter boards
pen and paper
some examples of no-tech AAC:
nodding/moving head
pointing
blinking or looking in certain directions
hand signals like a thumbs up
body language such as moving or kicking legs
other gestures like clapping, snapping, making non-word vocal sounds
here is a link about no-tech AAC (written in mostly plain language):
