Thinking about how Franco was just a button man. He wasn't involved in anything actually serious buisness-wise, his father just sicked him on people like a rabid dog. He didn't trust his out of control son to be a part of any actual deals. Thinking about how in Sinyala, even while drugged up and confused by the trials, Franco knows if he fucks up the deal with the "district attorney" his father will hurt him, likely from prior experience of having failed. Thinking about how he has no subtlety and always resorts to threats the moment something doesn't go his way, even though subtly was a necessity for the mafia to even stay operational. Thinking about how he looks nothing like his father, seems to have inherented no physical traits, and yet he wants to emulate his father so bad that in order to placate him in Sinyala Murkoff lets him believe he runs his own rackets in nearly every trial. He is actually so boyfailure it hurts. It hurts!
