You know what?
You know what I am tired of? I am tired of all the excuses I have made for myself all these years as to why I can't succeed in life. This year is the year for change. This is the year I let the fire in my belly take over, no matter what people say (including the negative side of me). The Hell with it, I am going to succeed. I will create the pregnancy center that offers Lamaze classes, mommy support groups, and grief counseling for those women who need it and cannot afford it other wise. I will make a better life for myself and my family. I will live out my dreams, and so can you! You can accomplish anything you set your mind to. Don't let yourself talk you out of following your dreams. It might take getting out of your comfort zone, but it will be worth it. You got this!

It has long been my dream to travel the world and also see animals in their natural habitats, and recently I got this opportunity to jumpstart my dream. For the whole month of May I will be traveling to Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand, and my dream place Australia! Not only will I be making many memories, but I will also get credit for my major and it will look amazing on my resume. Please spread this around, anything helps!

7 Reasons Why You Need To Try Yoga
In the spirit of No Fear Friday, let’s talk about trying something new - yoga! Here are some of the benefits practicing yogis experience both on and off their mats:
1. Yoga brain. Yoga is a great way to destress, moving into the body in this way leads to what some refer to as “yoga brain” which is an intense feeling of calm & relaxation that follows us for hours after our session.
2. Increased flexibility. Being flexible leads to better posture and the ability to perform better athletically, it can also make sex more enjoyable. Flexibility is important for our muscles because it allows nutrients to enter the tissues and let toxins out with ease.
3. Increased muscle strength and tone.Fad diets and supplements are always raving on about how they can help us to lose weight, get strong and tone up; well here’s something that won’t fail and doesn’t have any dangerous side effects - practicing yoga regularly.
4. Improved vitality. Yoga is all about the breath and moving into the body - the breath is the life force energy and when we concentrate on conscious breathing we can feel the energy inside us rise up. A regular yoga practice can reverse conditions like chronic fatigue - if accompanied by good nutrition.
5. Balanced metabolism. The movement of the body flowing from one pose to another helps to boost our metabolism which burns calories. An essential component of maintaining a healthy lifestyle is burning more calories than we put into our bodies.
6. Heart health. Yoga is considered moderate exercise and just 30 minutes of yoga a day can protect our hearts from diseases like heart disease and COPD.
7. Protection from injury. Moving into the body and stretching regularly prevents injuries because we are not sitting stagnant which causes joints and muscles to become stiff and tight - which makes them more prone to injury.
Yoga is not for the flexible, it’s for the willing.
Peace & positive vibes.

Did you know some places, like zoos and wildlife parks, will pair a cheetah and a dog together at a young age? This is so the cheetah will have a companion to look to when it is stressed, nervous, or unsure of a situation. The San Diego Wildlife Park does this sort of pairing.

I Try So Hard
I have done everything I possibly can to get and earn more money for school without ruining myself. I feel so defeated. Every time I think I finally have it together things fall through. I don't know what else there is for me to do. I can't take another year off, my mental health cannot deal with it for a third time. I don't know what to do anymore.
