     Breathe, Brody.

    She would say it felt like things were closing in around her but that wouldn't be far from the TRUTH. Brody wanted everybody safe as well but starving people out wasn't a good solution—not that she had many to offer on hand. However, with Marlon's frustration lately, SHE ended up having to hear the complaints more times than not. Anxiety was often the root of her own anger, it was something she needed to keep it check and was something the school had been working on with her up until they abandoned them all. In her state, Mitch's presence was like nails on a chalkboard. Still, she exhaled heavily, relieving some of the tightness in her chest.

    “I'm not—I'm not angry AT you,” she explained, “I just...need some space. I haven't had any ALL day.”

     Hiatus Notice

I don't think it's too much of a surprise at this point, considering my activity. Though, I am sorry to those I had threads with or wanted to do things. I don't know if I'll be coming back or not, I may, so I'll keep my drafts but for now I'm distancing myself. I'm not going to get too personal with this but all the month of May I had been in and out of doctor's offices and dealing with some rather heavy health issues, many of which caused great damage to my mental health that had been ripped apart by my mental illnesses as it were, along with the fact that I was losing sleep and peace of mind. I believe I'm fine, I think I've figured it out, and it's causing a lifestyle change (which is a healthier one, granted, but it came about in an unfortunate way). However, things have kind of blown up in the last week and today and I'm just too stressed to view this blog as a good place for me right now, so I'm taking a break for an undetermined amount of time.

For those who may be interested, I am mostly on @matteredloyalty these days and I do have a zombie apocalypse muse over on @radicfree, but for now I'm kind of stepping away from this blog. My Discord and personal are also available, feel free to ask.

    The expression fell somewhat as shetook in the other girl—Brody was a light sleeper and tended to beup at dawn. She liked the quiet, gave her time to prepare for whatcould be thrown at her in the coming day, much as she wished shecould sleep in. Even if she didn't get enough sleep, once she was up,she was up. However, Clementine...well, this didn'tjust look like a late night and late start. Brodywasn't unfamiliar with insomnia, but it was stillsomething concerning for her. She didn't doubt Clementine, but theyall needed their wits about them in a world like this—onelapse in judgment and it could be over for someone.

    Damn it, Ruby. Brodycould feel an awkward chuckle bubbling up in her, but she held itback as the other girl shot her a look out of the corner of her eyeat her words. Things...well, things weren't great, Brody couldattest to that fact VERY well. There was always a newissue cropping up, and always another argument to have with Marlonabout it—felt like that was all they did these days. Still,Brody knew that Ruby was having a rough time of it, too. She foundherself crossing her arms as she leaned against the wall so she couldlook at her better.
