Here's how to Disable Third Parties (Like AI Companies) from Looking At Your Shit. A Comprehensible Guide.
If you're on your computer, go to "ACCOUNT" located on the Left <-side bar, and choose for the blog you want to shield from the artificial onlookers. (Side note: You're gonna have to do this to each blog you have... ughhh.. they don't make it easy.) ANyway, choose one of your blogs and click it.
Once there, go to the Right -> side bar, and click on "BLOG SETTINGS."
Your Blog's page set up should be set up like this. Now, scroll allll the way down (it's near the damn BOTTOM >:( ) Until you get to a Section Called, "VISIBILITY."
Here's the "VISIBILITY" section. If you look at the blue bullet right there, you'll see "Prevent third-party sharing for (yourtumblrblogname)". Yours will probably be a gray bullet. Gray means you've switched it to OFF. Blue means it's switched to ON. Make sure the bullet slider is blue. And Bam. You're done (for this blog). No extra save button thankfully or whatever. BUT now you have to go and do the same thing for all your other side blogs. Hope this helps some of my followers. Because the tumblr is set up in a way that gives you multiple setting options for not just each blog, but your account as well. So you'd ASSUME it'd be underneath your account so it could apply to everything! Buuut its not. And here we are. Good luck out there fellow artists. And tumblr? Shame. Live was a mistake, and so was this.

Once Upon A Dream: Prologue
Part 1 of ????
Mixed POV
Nesta Archaeon was not the most vied after lady in the ton. No, after nearly three seasons she was still out and about as a single young lady. It would have made her mother turn in her grave and made all of the other young ladies snicker.
There were a very small few she knew she could rely on and some of those were her sisters. The other two were her best friend Emerie Irillen and her faithful maid and childhood friend, Gwyneth Berdara. Emerie and she met many years before. At her first appearance at Lady Morrigan Hewn's salon. The got along quickly and it wasn't long before Emerie and Gwyn met and the three of them became nearly inseparable.
Growing up in the life of nobility, as the daughter of a viscount, Nesta rarely knew poverty. So starkly different from Gwyn.
Gwyn didn't remember much about her childhood. She did recall her mother's smiling face before her, and her sister Catrin were left at the Archaeon estate. The two became maids there before an unfortunate incident left Gwyn alone. of course, before this she met and began to attend to the cold and supposedly cruel young lady of Archaeon, Nesta.
Cruelty never worked on Gwyn, and she grew on Nesta, though Catrin seemed to charm her much easier, the two of them grew much closer after the loss of Catrin.
So now, with her newfound sisters Gwyn cherished her life. Though she wasn't a lady as her sisters were, Gwyn never seemed to notice the difference in how they treated her.
"Gwyn, come sit with us! We were just discussing Selkie Dreyken's newest book!" Emerie exclaimed her face lighting up, highlighting the cream clinging to the corners of her lovely mouth.
Gwyn sighed moving towards the table where she and Nesta sat. Shaking her head, she picked up a napkin and cleaned the cream off of her friend's face.
"It's wrong for a commoner to sit and eat with nobles."
Nesta snorted into her teacup muttering something along the lines of 'since when did you care about that?'
Tossing the napkin at Nesta's head Gwyn rolled her eyes. Nesta squawked and Emerie and Gwyn burst into a fit of giggles.
Nesta smiled at the two, glad to have laughter in the house once again. Ever since her younger sister Feyre began being courted by the Duke of Velaris the house had become nearly silent. And the silence was deafening. Reminding Nesta of the times when her mother would prowl around with a switch in her hands, ready to discipline and teach her young daughters.
"My lady," a voice remarked, breaking off the girls' giggles.
All three turned to see the family butler standing in the doorway to the Archaeon mansion. Nesta stood and Gwyn raised an eyebrow.
"Yes? What is it Jerimich?"
The butler bowed and rose, half gesturing towards the mansion his face tight and eyes heavy.
"There is a visitor who requests your presence my lady."
Nesta's body went stiff, and Gwyn moved forwards causing Emerie to rise. The two gathered around Nesta hands hovering when Nesta sighed.
"Where are they? And what do they want? Unannounced visits are the bane of my existence."
Emerie and Gwyn giggled causing Jerimich to smile before gesturing fully towards the mansion.
"He waits in the parlor my lady. And he insists you bring your current guests with you."
The three shared a look of worry and confusion before Nesta nodded and waved a hand.
"Tell him we will be there in just a moment."
Jerimich nodded with a bow and turned heading back into the mansion. Gwyn began gathering Nesta and Emerie's things as the two stared at each other.
"I'll clean everything up then join you my lady, Lady Emerie."
The two turned towards Gwyn, their faces somewhat pale when Nesta nodded.
Then with somewhat haste the two moved towards the door. Curiosity was racing through the both of them. Who exactly had come to the Archaeon household and why would they want to meet with both Nesta and Emerie?
It took a few moments to arrive in the parlor, door creaking open, the two entered to find the newly appointed Duke of Hydref. Emerie blinked and Nesta froze for just a moment before the two moved towards the couches. The Duke rose and gave a short bow.
"Lady Nesta, Miss Emerie." Duke Vanserra remarked, something in his eyes looked disappointed.
The two girls bowed
"It is a pleasure to see you your grace."
"It is an honor truly," Nesta muttered through clenched teeth, "to have you in our humble home."
Duke Vanserra smiled slightly before sinking back onto the couch.
Nesta's voice echoed into the near empty room, "So, what brings you here your grace?"
Emerie froze her dark skin flushing as she turned to her friend in shock. leaning towards her she hissed out a whisper, "Nesta! You cannot say such a thing!"
"I don't see why not; this is my house after all." "Nesta, your father is the viscount. Not you."
Nesta rolled her eyes with a huff of sorts. Since her father had left to due to trading with the merchants at their land's seaport Nesta had been in charge of the Archaeon household. At this point she was as good as the viscount.
"it's quite alright Miss Emerie. Lady Nesta just wishes to keep her family safe. Correct?"
Nesta narrowed her eyes at the duke, something was off, but she couldn't place her finger on it. The duke's disappointed gaze shifted to something as he looked Nesta over.
However, before anyone else could speak, there was a knock at the door and Gwyn poked her head in.
"May I come in my lady?"
Nesta opened her mouth to reply when the duke sat up suddenly his eyes locked on Gwyn. Nesta's body went stiff, and she stood. Gwyn hurried into the room as Emerie raised her head sharply. Racing to Nesta's side Gwyn pressed her hands to Nesta's arms.
"Are you alright my lady?"
The duke stood looking Gwyn and Nesta's huddled figures over.
"Are you... are you Miss Berdara?"
Gwyn froze and Nesta raised her head eyes wide. Gwyn nodded slowly and he moved towards Gwyn and Nesta.
"Miss Gwyneth Berdara?"
Gwyn nodded and Nesta pushed her behind her. Eyes blazing her body almost like a wall between the duke and her maid.
"It's alright Nesta. It's alright."
Gwyn poked her head around Nesta and stared at the duke her blue eyes wide.
"I am Gwyneth. How may I help you sir?"
A look of relief crossed the Duke's face and he cleared his throat, eyeing Nesta somewhat curiously, "I'm Eris Vanserra, Duke of Hydref. And you will be coming with me."
"Pardon?" Nesta exclaimed.
Emerie jumped to her feet and Gwyn went pale.
"What business do you have with Gwyn?"
"Gwyn?" Duke Vanserra questioned a smile flickering in his eyes.
Nesta's eyes narrowed even more, and Emerie joined her side making it so much harder for Gwyn to peer around the two of them.
"The name I called her is none of your concern your grace."
A smile, genuine and amused quirked on the Duke's lips. Gwyn peered from in between her friends' shoulders and met the duke's eyes.
"Why?" She remarked causing everyone to blink.
Even the duke looked startled as he looked at Gwyn. He raised an eyebrow and Gwyn blinked, her pretty eyes wide and clear.
"That is my business and it is with you alone."
Rolling her shoulders back she shook her head, " Anything regarding me can be said in front of Nesta and Emerie."
Humming slightly the duke nodded and raised a hand to Gwyn who was still trapped behind her friends.
"Because I've come to take you home."

Elucien Week- Day Three: Bonds
After waiting for years Lucien finally makes a decision.
(Gonna be kinda angst 😈)
The house, much to Elain’s surprise was startling quiet. With Nesta and Cassian around, she assumed it would be riotously loud, instead, the silence leaked and shifted into every crevice.
Which is why when the yelling began Elain was startled.
Stumbling forwards, Elain cradled the vase filled with flowers in her arms. She had just come in from the garden with some flowers for Feyre. There it was the soft beat, gentle and slow… he couldn’t be here it’s probably just a mistake.
Slowly moving up the stairs Elain heard the yelling getting louder and louder. And felt the beating get stronger and stronger.
Making it to the top of the stairs Elain peered towards the door with just a crack open. Nedra’s voice rang out as she snapped.
“You have no right to be here!”
“I am only doing what I have to,” That family voice remarked causing Elain to freeze.
He-he was here! Was he here to see her? Had he come to see her face because he yearned to see it as much as she yearned to see his?
Slowly moving towards the door Elain looked through the crack seeing Feyre sitting at her desk eyes wide.
Nesta stood next to the desk glaring and Elain could half see him making her breath catch.
“What in the cauldron is that supposed to mean?” Nesta hissed and Feyre sighed.
She raised a hand and with narrowed eyes Nesta closed her mouth, arms crossed the glare still directed at Lucien.
“Lucien, please give this some thought! It is-“
Lucien cleared his throat stopping Feyre midsentance. He reached out and passed a paper into Feyre’s hands. She took it and her face went pale.
“I have done everything she asks and yet she still hasn’t rejected the bond. I do not want to force her into anything, however it has come to my attention she might want to reject it but is too kind. So, I decided to do it myself.”
Nesta’s arms dropped and her eyes went wide. She swallowed and let out a shaky breath.
“You rejected the bond?”
Lucien let out a tight breath that made Elain go still. Reject the bond? No,no he wouldn’t. He was still hoping and wishing she’d change her mind right? Right?!
“I’ve done all that’s necessary at the temple, now all I need to do is tell Elain directly and it will be done.”
Feyre shook her head and Nesta pressed her hand to her face. Taking a step back Elain shook her head. No, no he couldn’t-he wouldn’t!
“Lucien-“
“I’ve made my decision Feyre. Your sister- Everyone has made it clear Elain is better off without me. I'm just making it easier for her to do what she wishes.”
Fight it! Elain wanted to shout, please please Feyre, fight it!
Feyre, instead of fighting as Elain wished, sighed nodding, “Alright, I’ll call for her-“
“No need.”
Footsteps approached the door and Elain blinked to find Lucien's handsome face staring down at her, calm as always. She blinked again; eyes wide as she felt a strange thrumming begin in her.
“Elain Archean,” He whispered, “I Lucien-, I Lucien Vanserra, reject the bond the mother and the cauldron has placed upon us." There was a second of silence before he finished, ".... You are now free.”
A jolt went through the room and Elain flinched, a burning sensation on her mind and heart started and then exploded. The vase slipped from her hands as she pressed a hand to her heart eyes wide and filled with tears as glass and limp flowers sprayed across the ground.
“Elain!” Nesta exclaimed lunging towards her.
Lucien stepped away and the burning worsened. Elain whimpered as her knees began to go weak and she crumpled into Nesta’s arms.
“The pain,” Lucien began, sweat appearing in his brow and his voice tight, “will fade in a few days.”
He looked back to her and Elain felt her body trembling. He flinched before turning back towards Feyre and bowing.
“Fair well Lad-Feyre…. Goodbye Lady Nesta…Lady Elain.”
In a flurry of dust Lucien disappeared and the burning overcame her as a cry slipped from her lips her soul sobbing as it touched the severed bond.
Mate
“…lucien.”
Mate, please
“LUCIEN!”

Elucien Week- Day Two: Nature
Elain and Lucien share a romantic day in the spring court
Lucien, much to Elain's surprise was unpredictable. Sometimes he would plan dates in the night court, to go around Velaris and look at the shops as the sun fades then stare at the stars. Other times it was romantic dinners, sometimes it was silly little games.
But this, this had to be Elain's favorite date.
The spring court was ravenously beautiful, it consumed Elain's entire being as she stared at the lovely flowers and trees growing. While the night court didn't like Tamlin, Lucien had mended bonds and help Tamlin rebuild a new and better spring court. A fair and just one, however Lucien did not stay, and Tamil accepted that. Gaining support and assistance from members from various courts.
Currently assisting Tamlin was a young scholar from the day court, a healer from dawn, a former sailor from summer and a spring court citizen.
It delighted Elain to see the change in the court, when she first began coming to spring with Lucien, it reminded her of a flowery prison... much like how the garden was before she chose to leave the night court.
However, with fae from different courts and different ideals blending together to recreate spring, things had changed. From what Elain had heard, taxes were very low if any at all and people were free to come into the castle as they pleased. Anyone in need of assistance would be helped and people were free to mingled and live as they once hand. In fact, it appeared that some spring court guards had returned and at the request of Tamlin began training others...even females.
"Elain," Lucien remarked, dragging Elain back into the beautiful scenery.
She smiled at him, and he smiled back offering out his hand. Nature here was so different then it was in other courts, here seemed like a fantasy. A world of wonder and light.
"Shall we be going my lady?"
Elain raised an eyebrow and took his hand leaning against his shoulder as she sighed, "Why of course my lord. I'm so excited to spend the day with you...what do we have planned?"
There was silence for a moment and Elain looked up to see Lucien smiling down at her.
"Many fun things for my lovely lovely wife."
"And mate," Elain smiled and Lucien smiled wider.
"And mate, we are going to have a picnic and boat across a lake."
Elain blinked and paused, "A lake?"
"Yes, a lake. There are many lakes here."
Elain smiled, she had longed to boat across a lake with her love in a beautiful dress and hat. She hugged Lucien's arm as she hummed.
"You know me so well my love."
Lucien sighed, smiling down at her before nodding slightly.
"I do."
Elain loosened her grip and smiled, why not have some fun while they were here. Taking a step away from him she smiled wider, and Lucien blinked.
"And I know you well."
"Yes, you do my lady."
Leaning forwards, she pulled Lucien in for a kiss. Pulling the basket from him right before she kissed him Elain pulled back. Lucien blinked and Elain giggled.
"Well, if you want a kiss, " She began as she walked away and Lucien gave her amused but confused looks, "you'll have to catch me!"
Turning she sprinted away the basket tight in her grasps. Lucien blinked before realizing what had just happened and laughed. Chasing after her with a smile broad on his face and the sun slow descending in the sky.

Elucien Week- Day One: Masks
Elain sneaks into an autumn court ball in hopes of proving herself to the night court, only to bump into the person she least expected to see there. Her mate.
(I know this is a bit late but hopefully it still works! Happy Elucien week everyone!)
It was so much like back when she was a human... and not. The lavish hall was decorated in trimmings of gold and crimson. Something about the place resonated in Elain. Maybe it was the music that rang out reminding her of the days when Nesta would spin around ballrooms... human ball rooms with a smile on her face. Now however she did it across fae ballrooms.
While it's true Elain missed her human life, she did not morn it anymore. No instead she was going to adapt to her fae one, even if it meant sneaking out to prove she was good for more then just sitting in the garden and taking care of her plants.
The music hummed and twirled in the air as lavish gowns and intricately made shoes swiped and hissed across the glistening marble floors. For a moment, as Elain peered into the ball room her stomach dropped.
So many people-fae she didn't know. And while it was true barely anyone knew the way she looked, Elain, for a moment, worried someone might recognize her.
Reaching up to her face she let out a breath, her gloved hand brushed across the mask she wore, and she let out a sigh in relief. Masquerade ball, it was a masquerade ball. Even if someone would know her on sight because of the mask and gown she wore-completely different from her usual attire, no one would recognize her. Well almost no one.
The ballroom was even more lavish then the hall, with floating lights of varying shade- wait no those weren't lights... that was fire. Little balls of fire floated around the room in descending shades of orange red and gold.
Elain let out a breath, this was simple- easy even. The fae weren't used to being charmed like humans were. She could do as she had done in the past, smile and bat her eyes and anyone would give her all the information she wanted.
Stepping fully into the room she looked around. P-Fae were decked in elegant colors of rich autumn colors. Burnt oranges and crimsons, golds and burnished coppers. It made Elain feel as though she was stepping into a battlefield.
Her golden skirts swished as she glided across the edges of the ballroom, frothing flowers and butterflies shifting on her skirts making it seem as though she was being trailed by a cluster of glittering beauties.
Her mask, cupping the shape of her face and enhancing her cheekbones was dotted with small flowers, petals and butterfly wings on the sides.
As she walked, Elain felt eyes turning to her despite the music still playing and lively chatter racing around the room. This is exactly as she planned.
She was thankful, for her friendship with Nuala and Cerridwen but even more so for Azriel. Their friendship had become more of a friendship then before. Mainly due to Elain realizing Azriel and her were better as friends and because of a certain priestess her sister had befriended.
If it weren't for Nuala and Cerridwen, she wouldn't have been able to get all these clothes and if it were for Azriel she wouldn't have been able to come here.
She was surprised, to say the least, when he offered to help her. When Azriel offered to cover for her while she went to the autumn court to get information. Maybe, the priestess was helping Azriel change for the better. Truthfully Elain did not know, regardless she was thankful.
The music softened as the song came to an end and Elain watched as me-males stared at her for a moment. She pushed a smile on her face and tilted her head.
The song finally finished, and males said their goodbyes to their partners, slowly slinking over to see Elain. She smiled wider and suddenly a red-haired male in so dark a crimson it nearly looked black bowed before her.
"May I have this dance my lady?"
Elain began to nod and offer her hand when she felt something strange- no she heard it. A beating, steady and comforting, a beating familiar and gentle- the beating of a heart. Elain blinked and faltered with her hand.
He was here? No, no her could be here, could he? She swallowed, pushing back the mixture of so conflicting emotions. Relief and panic, worry and concern. Joy and-and fear.
"My lady?" The male began his voice lilting not in worry or concern but somewhat amusement and Elain blinked
She needed to focus, focus... while she was on the dance floor with this male she could look to see if she could find him. Then avoid him at all costs.
"My apologies," Elain said offering her hand, "You may."
The male took her hand and guided her to the dancefloor. The two stepped into frame and the music started once again. They began to spin and for a moment Elain looked around, not seeing anything or anyone new.
Maybe she was just imagining it- but it was still there, the beating getting louder and softer as she spun across the floor.
"So," The male holding her began, "how long are you going to pretended?"
Elain blinked and looked at the male in front of her, laughing slightly she tilted her head. He had to think she was silly and naive.
"Pretend what?"
"That you're not Elain Archaeon."
Elain froze and blinked looking at the male in front of her. Eyes glimmered and a smile flashed. A familiar smile on a familiar face. How could she have not realized it before.
"My brother doesn't know you're here, does he?" Eris Vanserra chuckled.
Elain kept a smile on her face but shot daggers through the mask at him.
"I don't understand why it matters. I haven't seen him in months."
Her tone shifted as she felt something bitter slip in, was she disappointed about not seeing him? Yes, but was it for the better yes!
"Yes, I know, he isn't acting at all the way I expected him to. No moping around hoping you'll ask for him to come, to see him." Eris began turning Elain in a spin, "instead he's off running around as Rhys's lap dog. Doing all and any work he can."
Grinding her teeth, Elain squeezed Eris's hand as she hissed.
"Lucien isn't a lap dog!"
Eris's smile widened and he pulled Elain in a bit closer.
"Yes, I know. But it is a bit surprising to see you defending him after the way you've been treating him."
She took in a breath, a faint image she could entirely make out flashing before her eyes. Danger... danger lied with him and her together. And being with him meant she was accepting what happened to her and she wasn't. No, she will never fully accept being fae, even if she gets accustomed to everything, she will always know that this wasn't her choice.
"It's for the best."
Eris snorted, a dark and bitter sound that seemed strange to Elain. He seemed upset but it didn't seem because right.
"For your lover or for him? Because as far as I can recall you and the spy master had begun a relationship. So, it seems you have no problems with fae, just Lucien."
Elain glared at Eris who raised an eyebrow and then laughed. He cared for Lucien... that much Elain could tell. Why else would he be pestering her with questions and getting upset she refused to be with him?
"I never expected to see such an expression on your face. Everyone says you're the innocent and harmless one..." Leaning in Eris whispered in her ear, "But I think you are far more dangerous then you let on. After all you got here, didn't you?"
Elain froze and the song came to an end. Eris released her and bowed. However, he retook her hand and began guiding her towards the edge of the ballroom.
"There is someone who wishes to meet you. And don't worry. It isn't my brother."
Elain's eyes narrowed, however she had heard Eris could be trusted, so she let him guide her. Out of the ballroom, into the hall and to a room. Releasing her hand Eris knocked softly, gently... even more uncharacteristic for him to do. Whoever-whatever was inside Eris cared about.
"Come in," A soft voice remarked.
Eris pushed the door open and gestured for Elain to enter. She gave him a suspicious look however he just sighed.
"I will stand watch; she does not want me to hear this conversation I assume."
With suspicious high and clenched fists Elain walked into the room. Sitting on a velvet couch was a startlingly beautiful woman with red hair and glimmering russet eyes. She was wearing green, a rich emerald green. She smiled when she saw Elain and gestured for her to sit down.
Elain sank into a seat nearby and looked the woman over. The woman just stared at her a soft, broken smile on her face.
"You are Elain," She whispered, and Elain nodded.
"You are as beautiful as he said- well wrote..."
Elain blinked and tilted her head before reaching up and removing her mask. A woman important to Eris, red hair and those eyes...
"You're Lucien's mother." Elain whispered.
The woman smiled and nodded, "Yes, however, you may call me Calida."
Elain smiled slightly, then felt a strange pang. She had been so rude to Lucien and yet Calida was still being kind.
"I'm sorry," Elain began but Calida waved a hand.
"You should not apologize, especially not to me. However," She sighed and reached out to take one Elain's hands, "if you do not wish to be with my son, please, just reject the bond. Let him be free, he cares for you so much and-"
Elain blinked as she realized something and pulled her hand from Calida's.
"How do you get letters from him? I thought he had been banished and was considered an enemy of autumn."
Calida looked to the door and smiled, "Help, let's just say I have help."
The heartbeat got louder, and Elain blinked, thinking about what Calida said. Reject the bond? Could she do that? When he was the comfort, she used as night terrors yanked her from sleep, when visions hit her and shook her to the core? Could she give that up? Could she give him up? When his heartbeat calmed her down and the mere sound of it, beat strong and steady made her feel safe? Could she give him up? When this entire time she never really thought she had him?
The heartbeat got louder, and Elain shook her head. Meeting Calida's eyes she side.
"I'm sorry Lady Calida, but I can't do that."
Calida tilted her head looking Elain over, watching as tears began to fill her eyes.
"Why not?"
"Because" Elain sniffed as she heard angry whispers outside the door, "I need him."
The door suddenly swung open, and Calida gasped, Elain turned to see standing in the doorway his face turning pale, Lucien. Dressed finely-so finely Elain's heart wanted to sing. He was handsome, she knew that but seeing him now. By the cauldron she couldn't breathe. He blinked his russet eyes and his metal one swirled.
"Elain?" He muttered in confusion and slight distress.
"Hello Lucien," She replied, tears slipping down her face as her soul found it didn't really have to fight to sing.
Hello mate

Chapter Two: Light Time Lullabies
Elain and the light
Elain Archaeon loved the light. She loved the sun and the way it makes tiny freckles scatter across her skin. She loved how the sun always lifted and helped things grow. And to those who were too greedy and want more from the sun... well it burned them.
But Elain missed the summer sun, she missed the days in which she grew and laughed and loved. Elain missed her days as a human so much it made her heart ache. She missed being able to plan her own future and love who she wanted to love. Not be told by some being or object that controlled fate. But Elain hated to see her family sad, she hated to think that they were worried about her. So, she pretended.
Elain pretended everything was alright. That she was getting better, which wasn't entirely a lie. She learned many things from being where she was. Things like bread making. The kneading kept her arms moving while her mind raced. Sometimes with images of things she didn't recognize, only for them to happen or hear of them happening.
She knew she was still a seer, that she still had a part of her that was so unhuman like. But, if she hid it, did that mean there was still a chance to return to the way things were? Of course, Elain knew not everything could be the same. She couldn't be with Greyson anymore. No, not after what he did. She would rather not be with him. Despite all those months of mourning him, mourning the loss of his love-of their love. Elain knew that she had to move on.
But she couldn't seem to fully move on. No, moving on fully would mean accepting she was fae, accepting that her life as a human was over. And she couldn't do that, not when being a human-being Elain Archaeon prettiest and sweetest of the Archaeon sisters was all she was.
Elain missed those days. Those days back when she was still human and basking in the sunlight. When Nesta and Feyre and her were all together. However, she knew, here was better for them. Being together and working passed their differences. With their mates at their sides and their... their new families.
Elain wanted to be happy for her sister, really. But it stung. Stung that she wasn't apart of these families, not truly. No, she was just a visitor for the time being. Until she would soon be pushed out or forced to change because she did not fit in.
Elain did not love the night court. Yes, she liked it, but she did not love it. She did not like the blood constantly carried throughout each house, whether it be literally or figuratively. She did not like the sound of blades crashing into each other nor did she like the smell of death. However, the night court reminded her of home. It was so faely human.
With the little shops and stores, the music and life. It still surprised her how much it was like humans. How human and mortal it all seemed. All her life she saw the fae as dangerous and immortal beings and yet, they did the same as she. Talking with friends in the street, going out to restaurants and buying food from stands. Maybe that was the reason why she stayed. Because she liked it... Elain couldn't lie to herself though.
No matter how hard she tried, she knew the truth. She was still aching. Aching from the shift and aching for her past life. This life was so harsh and fast, she hardly had any time to process it. And when she did finally have time, her mind and heart clashed.
Mind begging her to stop thinking about the fae man-male. The one who she could feel a tie to, the one she saw in her dreams at night and could occasionally feel the heartbeat of. In her dreams he would smile at her, asking how she was, not caring how the answer would affect him. In her dreams he was kind and concerned and so lovely-yet he was fae. And her... mate-mate.
Mate. She hated the word. It did not define her, nor did it control her. She was more then a fae man-male's mate and more then Feyre and Nesta's sister. She was her own person who lived and laughed. She loved to garden and sit with Azriel. He reminded her of home.
Though his wings and shadows weren't entirely human, he was the closest to a human in the night court. With warm eyes and rounded ears, Elain reminisced of home whenever she was near him. Which was why his rejection probably stung so sharply.
But it made Elain realize that he wasn't home, not her home. He was her friend, and it should stay that way. She may be fae now, but she would not conform to their ways and settle down with a mate. Cauldron chosen or not.
Her home was in a garden, with the smell of wet soil, earthy leaves and sunshine. The rows of plants and tiny colored bugs, the silence besides the song of the wind. Out in the garden Elain felt at peace. Under the suns gleaming rays, she would garden. Hearing snatches of conversations as people passed by open windows. In the sun, Elain would tip her head back and bask in the light because the sun was enlightening.
The sun made Elain feel things she hadn't felt in a long time. The sun-the light made Elain feel whole once again, it made her feel alive.

Chapter One: Scarifying Shadows
Gwyn and the darkness
Gwyneth Berdara liked the darkness, she liked the safety it held and how it seemed to cradle her in the worst of the moments. The moments when her mind yanked her back to those hours- those excruciating hours in which she lost her sister and a part of herself. The darkness seemed to sing the songs that brought her back to peace. Maybe the mother knew how difficult this would be for her and trained the shadows to sing, sing a song she only seemed to know about.
Sometimes the song reminded her of a certain shadow master and the shadows that whizzed around him. The shadows that liked to dance and curl in her hair, the shadows that liked to brush her face. And the shadows-those shadows reminded her of the safety of darkness. How it can heal as well as hurt. It reminded Gwyn of a scar handed, shadow singer who was kind and strong. Who had saved her and seen her at her worst but never doubted her.
He was the one who helped to remind her that the darkness was more of a comfort-that it was far safer than anyone thought. The darkness was a haven of sorts, protecting her from the memories that seemed even darker than the world around her.
So in moments like these, moments in which she couldn’t sleep, Gwyn would wander around the library. Was she really allowed to do this? Well, Gwyn would rather not think about that.
In the aisle she’d roam, sometimes shelving books to get a head start on the next day, sometimes just to roam. To feel the presence of knowledge around her and smell parchment and ink.
Gwyn loved the library, it was one of the few places she felt safe… even when things seemed to spiral out of control in her mind. The library always seemed to comfort her. And ever since Nesta and Cassian took over the house of the wind, the house had been helping comfort her as well.
Nesta had told her of the house’s heart and what it was like and sometimes Gwyn wondered what it would be like and if she should venture down. Maybe just to interact with the house, or maybe to prove that she was over her trauma.
However, reason would always enter Gwyn’s mind. She might have to relive parts of that night again and-and… and Gwyn wasn’t ready for that. She wasn’t ready for her wakely state to be dragged into the dream one. Filled with nightmares and memories that still haunted her.
“Gwyn?”
Gwyn looked up to see Nesta standing at the end of the aisle, her brow furrowed and mouth bending down in a concerned sort of manner.
“Nesta, what are you doing here?”
Nesta gave Gwyn a look before gesturing towards the floors, “The house woke me up. And it brought me here.”
Gwyn gave Nesta a soft smile before nodding, “I couldn’t sleep, so I decided to get ahead on some work. Merrill is surely going to give me more.”
Nesta tilted her head and Gwyn’s smile wavered just for a moment. Then Nesta nodded slowly.
“Maybe if you start reading it’ll help you sleep.”
“Maybe.”
The silence between the two of them was heavy and Gwyn felt something in her chest begin to squeeze. She was lying, lying to her friend so easily. It felt wrong. Something bitter began forming on Gwyn's tongue and she sighed.
"Tomorrow, after training... Emerie, you and I can talk."
Nesta nodded, something in her shifting as her shoulders relaxed and her face softened.
"Of course Gwyn. I'll see you tomorrow."
Gwyn nodded slowly, turning away from her friend towards the shelves and shadows, "Tomorrow."
Listening to the sound of her friend retreating Gwyn let out a sigh. She couldn't keep in things like this or at least she shouldn't. That was why she had her sisters. To rely on and share burdens with. It was just difficult to remember she was included in the sharing of burdens part.
However, Gwyn had the unfortunate tendency to forget things like this, often. Forget that she should share and support instead of just supporting. It led to problems she probably could have solved with help. But she was nearly as stubborn as her problems were. So, she kept things to herself.
Wandering back into the darkness, she took in a breath letting it cover her and help her shed her most scarred parts. At least in the darkness, Gwyn could be strong. Strong then she ever was in places that shined brightly and brought back memories. Rooting her in the belief she would always be the same and never change.
Humming softly, Gwyn began to sing. To herself and the shadows that helped her. To the darkness that seemed to make her whole again.

The first chapter will come later but for now…
the actual descriptions!!!!!!
Gwyneth Berdara has been staying in the library since her sister's death. With her recent excursion out and becoming a Valkyrie, Gwyn begins to wonder if the cauldron and mother have more planned for her then she ever thought. So, called upon by her high lord and lady to help investigate the mortal queens and the curse upon a human named Vassa, Gwyn fears that she might not be all cut out for what the cauldron has planned. With the help of a shadow master, who saved her once before, Gwyn dives into a world of magic and culture she had never yet before known. Will she be able to do all her high lord and lady expect of her, or will she end up in a place she never wanted to return to?
Elain Archaeon never wanted to be fae. She had hopes and dreams for a future that slipped so far from her grasps the second she was dropped into the cauldron. With vision hitting her randomly and the occasional dreams of a man-male she vowed to hate, Elain tries to pretend everything is alright. But pretending isn't working, not anymore. Not when things begin falling apart around her. With her sisters believing she is capable of nothing and the only man-male she thought she could trust acting as if she was fragile as glass, Elain is stuck in a place where she is nothing more than a decorative piece on the shelf. So, when given a chance to prove she is more than everything thinks she is, Elain ventures back towards the place she once called home with the one male she had been trying to avoid. Avoid because of the emotions and all the things she didn't want to admit. With the male who calls her mate by her side and visions overtaking her Elain wishes to recover the life she once held. But however, Elain soon discovers she might not want what she thought she wanted. Will Elain be able to get what she thought she wanted or will she realize there is so much more to the world then what she thought she knew?
