Behold, I Have Set A Door Before You!

Before me stood a gigantic open door. Imagine a huge door, and then quadruple it. I stood at the threshold and looked into a vast landscape, lush with greenery. I was so very small in the enormous doorframe. Even though I appeared miniscule, excitement about the future saturated me. It was going to be amazingly GOOD! My future was going to be as ginormous as the great door.

I sensed God saying:

"Right now, there is a door before you that is far greater than anything you have ever asked or imagined. You are crossing into the beyond what you can ask or imagine . You are entering into the realm where you will participate in things the eye has not seen nor has the ear heard. You are stepping into My world."

I knew this massive door would lead me into greater dimensions of the glory realm—and it was going to be fun! The atmosphere was thick with revelation. I would experience places of the glory realm I had not known, and the supernatural would be natural. As I pondered the door, I grew aware that the door was not only a door for me, but also for you. It has been placed before YOU! This wondrous door is before His Bride.

More Doors Await You

I also knew that there would be more doors once I went through this great door. The unseen doors that lay beyond would be somewhat smaller, more specific doors. These powerful doors would lead me to what I needed in order to accomplish specific tasks. Once I stepped through that great door, I knew everything I needed would be amply supplied. My eyes would see with increased clarity. I would find myself more at home where God has said I am seated—in heavenly places.

Taking Down Giants

Last year, I encountered one difficult battle after another. It seemed that every day a new giant showed up. Can you relate? And I survived. I persevered, and I'm still here. I know I am not alone because many have told me that last year was hard.  In a recent blog, Bill Yount said, "God has favored me to live through the hardest times. You too."

  Friend, right now you are in the midst of going through this grand door. When I saw it, it seemed to appear out of nowhere. It was just there. Your glorious future will unfold very naturally without the turmoil of last year. There may be obstacles, but your inner response will be different because now—you know how to take down giants.

Pursue Wisdom … Pursue Understanding

   The path of the righteous is like the first gleam of dawn, shining ever brighter till the full light of day.  Proverbs 4:18

Here's the deal with older women: They have wisdom, and they have experience.

They are your forerunners. Your mentors. The ones who have cleared the path for you. You surely can go as far as they have gone—and then further. Mature wisdom coupled with experience is priceless. You need what they have.

I have been seated at the feet of more than one mother in the faith. As I listened to her stories, my faith grew. I believed that what she carried would rub off on me. I trusted that her miracles would ignite new miracles to explode in my life. Her victories swept into my heart, enabling me to overcome obstacles more quickly. I gleaned a heavenly wisdom that comes only with years of being seated in heavenly places.

These women are as gold to me. As I look back on my spiritual mothers, I wish I could have just one more conversation with each of them. One more conversation with my own mother. Or one more conversation with my spiritual mother, Billie Gordon. Or one more with Marilyn Moore. One more with my dear friend, Pat Bahr or Sue Ann. They have all gone Home. 

But I continue to carry the jewels they imparted. And on the emulsion sheet of my mind, I remember what they did for me. I remember the living rooms, the lunches, the phone calls. And the love.

Dear ones, treasure the treasures He has given you—the people who have, for a season, joined you on your path. Pursue them. Go for the gold!

Ministry Update

I am pleased to announced that I have finished writing my new book The Real You: Believing Your True Identity! It will be launched this June, along with an Activation Manual and DVD teaching set! I feel very blessed to have received endorsements from Joshua Mills, Jeff Jansen and Paul Keith Davis and two wonderful forewords from Graham Cooke and Bill Yount. I’ll share a little more on this video clip below. As you know, my mission is to build the identity of believers. Doors are opening for me to speak nationally. For instance, I will be traveling in June to minister to Women's Aglow leaders in the greater Miami/Ft. Lauderdale area. As my ministry base expands I am anticipating the blessing of monthly ministry partners who will stand along side me financially and spiritually in this next season of empowering people through the revelation of their true identity.

You're Somewhere in the Future… and You Look Much Better Than You Look Right Now!

That's me. I look so much better than I did a year ago. And in the future, I look even better than I do right now. And so do you. You will not be the same as you are right now! In 2012, I faced enormous hurdles—betrayals, financial obstacles, and the recurring ministry lid some try to put on women. (Brother! I thought we were done with that one!) It was a year of walking through some of the hottest fire I have ever encountered.

As I kept ministering at churches and events, He continually downloaded messages in me that brought me to the edge of what I was experiencing—severe life-changing trials and no solution.

In the beginning of the year, God told me to "think big picture." He told me, "There is a big picture and you don't see it all." He told me that I see only a small part of it. If I would trust Him—ferociously trust Him, I would change and grow more into His likeness. I trusted Him. As the months passed, I became even stronger—so much stronger than I was a year ago. I could hear it in my voice, see it in my actions, and find it in the amazing revelation I was receiving. My educated guess is that you are in the middle of something right now. Something hard. Something you can't fully figure out. No matter what, you will look better next year. Why can I say this? Why can Kim Clement sing, "You're Somewhere in the Future, and You Look Much Better Than You Look Right Now!" Because you are transforming! You are transforming into the likeness of Jesus. And every fiery trial brings us closer. We will be like Him (1 John 3:2). We will look like Him, move like Him, talk like Him. Every time I ask a crowd, "Who's going through a challenge right now," hands go up all over the room. For those with their hands down, I say, "If you are not going through something, you will be." We all go through the fire of trials. Jesus told us that in the world we will have tribulation. We read, "Think it not strange concerning the fiery trial that is to try you as though some strange thing happened to you" (1 Peter 4:12.) Are you in a rough season? Are you going through a difficult trial, and you don't know how it is going to play out? Take a step back—or, rather, a step up into the heavenly place where you are truly seated, and say, I'm somewhere in the future, and I look much better than I look right now! Yeah! Have a listen! And get up and shout it!

A Posture of Thanksgiving

  Many of us are in times of testing. For one thing, our dollars are being stretched out like rubber bands! And now a day of “Thanksgiving?”

Okay, how? Challenges loom before many right now. A nearly jobless society! More and more on food stamps! College debt, car loans, mortgages, rent … the list goes on.

Some find the holiday season difficult because of loss and heartache from a previous season.

And then we read: Let us come before His presence with thanksgiving; Let us shout joyfully to Him with psalms. Psalm 95:2 How do we do this? Jeremiah 33:11 holds the key.

Thanksgiving is translated as giving a “sacrifice of praise.” A sacrifice means it costs us something.

In so many words, King David said,

“Why should I offer a sacrifice to the Lord that did not cost me anything?” Right in the middle of all you have going on, you can yet speak words of thanks. Maybe it comes easy for you. Maybe not.

“God, What Do You Want Me to Do With My Life?

Usually 100% of the hands go up whenever I’ve asked a group, “Who wants direction from God?”

I have a word of encouragement for you:

If you don’t know what you are doing much of the time, you are right on track! You are right where you’re supposed to be. I know, it can be exasperating. The worldly view is to have everything all planned out and to set your goals with every detail in place. It is quite unnerving to not know exactly how we are going to accomplish our dreams.

More than once, I’ve said to other spirit-led ministry leaders, “I don’t know what I’m doing. Do you know what you’re doing?” “No,” they replied.

Not having the full picture always brings us to the same place: Go back to the Secret Place. Go back and hang out with the Holy Spirit. Go back and wait and ask and listen. Here is a key: God doesn’t give us the whole picture because He wants to partner with us. You and God are developing a partnership, and He is teaching you about being led by the Holy Spirit. He is your “business partner,” your “ministry partner,” your “dream partner.” He knows the next steps. You know in part; He knows the rest. The Holy Spirit is very interested in your ideas and dreams. Take them into the secret place and find out your next step. The Holy Spirit is drawing you through the doorway of intimacy. Be encouraged. The doors of God's secret place are open to you!

I Want to See the Way that You See

I see a mountain … You see a miracle. I see a wasteland … You see a garden. I see dry bones … You see an army. I see impossible … You see everything! I want to see the way that You see ...

What are you dwelling on? What circumstance in your life feels like such a giant mountain that you cannot see your way around it? What are you telling yourself you can’t have? Can’t do? I have found when I’m dwelling on something I can’t do, I am justifying my conclusion with “practical thinking.” I limit God. I limit me. I limit what we can do together. My dreams can go only so far because I practical-think my way out of BIG DREAMS! The heavenly truth is this: God is NOT a practical thinker.

He does not have limits on His thoughts or His ways.

With God, there is always a way.

He sees your dreams and says, “Dream bigger!”

So, God says, “Come up here. Let Me take you higher. Be seated with Me. The view is really GOOD! Now, look down at your dream … and see what I see!” If you were to dream without limits, what would your dreams look like?
